Very basic accommodation, which is fine for the price. The biggest factor to consider is that the accommodation is right next to a mosque, and the call to prayer will wake you up at 3am. If you want to see the sunrise at Mt. Bromo this is a great alarm, since the mountain is about a one hour bus ride away.

Perfect place to stay at an affordable price when you pass through Probolinggo. The room is very clean, outdoor area is pretty cozy, you can use the kitchen, and they sell amazing Bromo coffee beans.

Very friendly owners! Super nice, they insisted on driving us to the bus station. Clean rooms, AC worked nicely. Only downside is that there is a mosque a few feet away and it's quite loud.

I stayed in the dorm. There was nobody, so I had basically a private with fan and aircon. The bed sheets could be cleaner. Overall was good for me. The price is really seductive.

Ii've stayed in better hotels during my 5 weeks in Jawa, but at such fare, it was undoubtfully the best one, and that is why i considered it could deserve a 5 stars because there is an excellent "value for money". Excellent rapport qualité prix, they say in my language... Location: The location is far from the train station and Probolingo center. But if you are in transit, using the bus terminal or the Bromo van, it is the most convenient budget hotel, being approximatively 1 km away from the bus terminal, which represents a 15 minutes walk Tip: to go from the hotel to the bus terninal, yell any bus passing by on the road to avoid the walk. Most important thing, that hotel respects the cleanliness standards, and despite the low fare, it includes a private bathroom with shower and toilets. The water was not hot, but with the july hot weather, warm water would have been needless anyway. The rooms are equipped with an efficient ceiling fan by the way. I appreciated very much the benches along the external gangway, and the little supermaket next to the hotel. The only shortcoming for me was the mosque which is next to the hotel. It woke me up at 5'o clock in the night (which is the case in most of the Jawa hotels i'm afraid), and the prayers last nearly one hour! But i wasn't bothered that much,because they consist of very nice incantations which had the effect of a lullaby on me. Therefore, i did not hesitate to sleep there a second night on my way back from Bromo.

This is a homestay near Bromo vocano about 1 hours to jeep parking. Rooms are narrow, dusty, and smelly. Having the mini-mart in the front but it close at 11pm. Although, not good but stay at place for several hours to prepare trekking is OK

I stayed a night in dormitory. The room and facilities were nice, clean and the price was very affordable, perfect option for solo backpackers. Staff and the owner was also very friendly and helpful.

Small, dirty and loud. There's a large motorway virtually next to it. Lots of lorry's and motorbike ride over it. Bathroom and toilet are one. We were dumped here after booking a 350 euro tour with Ijen Bondowoso Homestay
