We had an exceptionally unpleasant experience due to the pet policy being misrepresented. We paid in advance, their policy, for the entire month of February. We had to sign a document stating the payment was not refundable. Before signing, we read through the policies that affected renters, like the pet policy and did not see anything out of line with other RV parks. We set up our exercise pens for the dogs, like we've done at every RV park for the last 30 years. We were informed that exercise pens violated their policy. We had not seen that and asked that it be shown to us. They showed a construction policy that stated owners were not allowed to build a fence on their property. We had not built anything on their property, but they maintained that an exercise pen was a fence and had to be taken down. Our dogs are quiet and love to bask in the warm sun. It felt like a cruel expectation for them to have to stay in our RV 24/7 for a full month. They suggested that we could tie our dogs out on the lawn, but they are escape artists and we could not risk them getting away. We again stated that we were not in any way violating their policy. They were very indifferent. We could not put our pets through being confined to and RV, so we immediately left. They refused to refund our money, offer a stay at another date or even offer any kindness at all. This is truly the worst experience and poorest treatment that we've ever had at an RV resort.

It is still in construction however will open this month. It is extremely well thought out with no sites close to each other or any site behind you. Large lake in center, great showers and laundry. Dog park, work out room. It's spectacular. You buy your site. Park is middle of nowhere highway undergoing much needed repairs.

Beautiful resort. Clubhouse and pool area were gorgeous. No cable or WiFi service. To enter the resort off the four lane road, you need to go past the resort and make a u-turn (not a comfortable feeling). Road noise from the highway was notable during the night. Big spacious pads and excellent view of the lake.

We came to Florida looking for a motor coach community to park our RV during the winter months. We looked at many different resorts but kept coming back to the Golden Palms Luxury Resort. Luxury absolutely, new and beautiful. Ron and his wife Paula treated us like family, the staff were just as welcoming. The amenities such as the clubhouse, fitness center, pool, hot tub, sauna, etc. are top notch. Don't miss this little piece of heaven! We didn't, we purchased! Patrick &Vivian Chicago, IL

Beautiful new motorcoach resort! Large oversized lots many with outdoor kitchens and casitas. Huge dog park with agility items that your fur family will love. Take a walk around the large lake but don’t forget to take your camera .. the wildlife is beautiful! The main club house is beautiful with a full kitchen, plenty of tables to play board games, and a laundry area. Pickleball courts, a pool and hot tub, and for those chilly nights, a fire pit area. Not far from the stores, downtown Ft Myers, golf, and beaches!

It's still under development but will be opening soon. Beautifully done. Motor Coach Paver pads, 50 and 100 amp, large lots, not as close to your neighbor as many parks. Golf carts are allowed. You can also have a Casita built. There's a 23 acre lake, fishing is allowed and several lakeside lots are available. There is a pickle ball court at the club house as well as workout room. On a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 12!! It's on Hwy 82, in the country, quiet area, and easy access, easy in and out!

New but has potential for a good Class A Only Motorcoach Resort

Ron an staff are very nice people. The pool is fantastic. We lease a lot for 30 days an loved it so we'll we purchased 1. We are really looking forward to next November. Fun in the sun an starting are retirement. Extra wide lots an beautiful landscaping.

Excellent! Paula and Ron were more than wonderful. The lots are 55 feet wide, and since it's not over sold, there was plenty of space in between coaches. The view of the lake was pristine. The Resort is quiet, but quite friendly. The Clubhouse was not getting a lot of action, so we thoroughly enjoyed games and karaoke by ourselves. Outside of the WIfi not being strong enough to reach our pad, we had an awesome time. Tons of stuff to do on chilly or rainy days, and enough privacy to enjoy yourself outside when it's not.

Golden Palms is the definition of paradise lost! Our stay there was such a pleasure because every single detail was so thoroughly 1st class. It is a mystery to me why developers can't seem to get all of the pieces working together like Ron, Lori and the staff at Golden Palms has. Every single amenity is there, like a huge Florida RV Park, but just a cozy 112 spots sharing a beautiful 22 acre lake. And the water is clear! For Florida, that was a pleasant surprise! Our new "go-to" in Ft. Myers.

An Oasis , very well maintained . Wonderful pool area . The customer service , however , leaves a lot to be desired. The lady on duty at our check in, literally started to complain , her attitude was just awful! We drive 50 miles to this place to see a friend that had invited us and we are thinking about buying a lot next to our friend. The other gentlemen I believe his name was Chiro , he was very helpful and polite, he took us to the site and tried to diffuse the situation and made us feel welcome.

We arrived here last January to stay a few weeks to escape the Nebraska winter for awhile. After about a week we decided we liked it so much we purchased a lot. So glad we did because it’s almost sold out already. You are going to love this place if you’re lucky enough to get a spot here!

We have been full timing since 2003 so we have visited our share of resorts and We loved everything about this resort! The staff was so pleasant, accommodating and fun! The grounds are beautiful. The pool area was amazing and truly a resort style pool. We came for a few days and ended up staying a month! It has been fun seeing the place transform into a tropical paradise and we cannot wait to return. We also met some wonderful folks who we now refer to as our friends.!

Gorgeous, brand new resort . The amenities and people are amazing . There is some construction going on because it is so new; however the beautiful amenities , huge sites and friendly people more than make up for this! Because it sold out so quickly , many owners are building their casitas at the same time , but the bulk of the construction should be completed this year. For anybody looking to rent a gorgeous lot in 2023, this is your place !!

Quiet for the most part but wakes up on the weekends with games in the clubhouse and pool .

A brand new Class A RV resort. Huge lots with Pavers, beautiful casitas available and a very nice clubhouse and pool. This please will do very well. Check out the free 3 night stay package like we did this weekend.

My husband and I had the most enjoyable stay at Golden Palms Luxury Motorcoach Resort in January of 2021. The staff was friendly and attentive to every need we had, and the grounds were immaculately kept. There are many amenities and we made good use of almost all of them: paddleboat, kayaks, pickle ball courts, sauna, and of course, the beautiful pool and spa.The dog park was big enough for our dog to get off-the-leash exercise. Most nights we walked the loop at sunset, meeting other renters or owners that were welcoming to visitors. This would be a good place to buy if you like a smaller community. Sites away from the main entrance will be most desirable as there is some road noise. We found the wifi signal strength was best in the clubhouse and a necessity for virtual meetings. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
