Let me start off by saying that I order pizza almost every week from different pizzerias. Someone encouraged me to try the pizza from Hungry Howie's some time ago. I've always been reluctant to try it until tonight when I ordered a barbecue chicken pizza. I'm a big fan of Dominos and other pizza places. I urged the driver to call when they arrived. No one bothered to call which tells me how disorganized the company is. Pizza arrived with burnt crust which is not what I'm used to. I encourage anyone who wants barbecue chicken pizza to try somewhere else apart from Hungry Howie's. Their other pizzas might be good, I don't know but for my 1st experience, this was bad. I won't be buying barbecue pizza from here again. Poor quality. The store manager/owner then proceeded to tell me that's how barbecue pizza looks with sauce. I told the store owner that quality sucks and he took it to heart. I requested a refund. I'm not being loathsome, I'm just expressing my honest review. I've never seen barbecue pizza look this way when I order from other joints. Maybe I just don't like dark pizza. Don't put it on the menu if you can't do it right.

Horrible experience, my pizza took 2 hours to finally be delivered. I called twice to find out what's going on and both times I was told the driver left. I finally spoke to a manager and he didn't behave like a Manger at all, he said "I'm not doing anything for you, no one wants to work in this town take your pizza or take a refund." First and last time ever doing business there.

I am absolutely appalled by the service I received at this restaurant today !! The cashier has no customer service training at all it was my first time visiting this fast food restaurant. I walked and was asked by the cashier, "Are you picking up?" I said, 'No, I'm not,' so I took a menu to have a look.The cashier asked me, "What's your name?" So I replied, "My name? for what?" and explained to her that it's my first time so I'm having a look at the menu options. She was like "So I'll put first time here on the receipt," I did not understood what she meant so I stood there trying to figure out what just happened. Then, another co-worker who was standing beside her started laughing, and i took the menu and just left they didn't try to assist or help in any way. I don't think I'll be returning to Hungry Howies at any time. First-time experience sucked 👎!!

Paid for double pepperoni. Does this look like double pepperoni? The young lady just told my daughter the pepperoni is UNDER the cheese. 🙄 Takes us AN HOUR to drive there and back home only to not get what I wanted and paid for. Chris, I called you. You said to post a review- that you get them immediately. Don’t get me wrong, I love Hungry Howies or we wouldn’t drive that far, we’d order delivery on line, right?

No menu, so no idea what they offer. They have a hidden charge called HC 17 cents on $17.00 order. Tax was $1.10 No one knew what it was for. Not much money but they are stealing from us. Service poor and food eatable.

Poor customer service by owner. Sad that a small time franchise owner gives hungry howies a bad name. Spoke to owner for non delivery when checking on pizza over hour delay stated no one was home when attempt was made. Door cameras confirm no one came to my home. When speaking to owner he stated his employee didn't go to the wrong house so basically your customers are lying vs a driver making a mistake. I do respect the owner taking up for staff, but horrible customer service.

Upside to this review was the food was pretty good. But the customer service needs some help. Don’t plan on eating there, because there are no seats. It’s primarily a take out or delivery place. There were no menus, take out menus, or any advertisements of any kind display what they have. But we gave them a try. Parking was very limited

I have ordered there three times a week for months ... received my order wrong and called. Spoke to the Owner who was the most unprofessional rudest person I’ve come across in the food industry. Instead of accepting that the order was not fulfilled correctly he argued and refused to fulfill the correct order. We would NEVER order from this establishment again.

Love this place!! The baked spaghetti and Ham n cheese sub are amazingly good! So glad they opened one close by I would definitely be back again.

Took well over 1 hr to get my food and pizza was not cutttttt and was welllllllll done……and the cheese bread was wet a soggy and they didn’t even give u the sauce……waste of 30$

If you like thin crust then this is the place! I always ask for well done. I’m from NJ and have hard time finding a decent pizza. I highly recommend Hungry Howies. Ricky the manager was superb !!! So was the rest of the staff !!!

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews but this time I felt it necessary. I placed an order and requested it well done. When it arrived the pizza was very floppy and clearly it wasn’t well done. I called to inform the team, they said they would grant me a credit....cool right? So I called the next day to have them honor the credit...when I spoke to the manager (Ricky) he told me they couldn’t deliver because I would need to have at least 10 dollars worth of food in order to deliver (store policy) fine... I then explain that my husband works during the day and I couldn’t pick it up. Ricky proceeds to tell me with lack of compassion that there isn’t anything he could do but sooo rudely, And I respect store policy but the lack of empathy and the carelessness in his voice rubbed me the wrong way. Regardless to where you work great CUSTOMER SERVICE should be your top priority. I will not be supporting this store again. Never!

The young lady who took my order at 7:24 p.m ( I did not get her name ) was extremely rude and need to be trained again on how to take orders over the phone. She hung up on me while I was speaking to her did not say have a great night or anything. Whom ever trained her needs to train her again because clearly she didn’t learn the first time.

Order for pick up. Get there and they try and make me pay again. Then finally when they figure out I already paid, they give me my pizza, but I was annoyed so I did not look to see if they got my order right. I get home sure enough not my order. I call and they asked me to drive back there, and of course I do because the order I received was not even close. I try to give the pizza back and get mine in return but they tell me they cannot take the pizza and that it is my pizza now. I do not eat fast food often I explained. They tell me it is my problem now give me my pizza and looked at the next customer. My pizza was cold by the time I got to eat it. So never again, and I will surely steer people away from your business.

Ordered pizza , breadsticks, and a salad . Spent $40. Took 2 hours to deliver to my house and I'm literally 1.3 miles from them off of Country club and Joel ! When they finally arrived they didn't have my pizza ! Called store nobody answers ! Awful ! Will never order from here again! They literally robbed me !

Waited an 1 hour and 45 minutes for the pizza, they told us it would be a 45 minute till delivery the pizza was delicious, gave the delivery man a $5 tip, it wasn't his fault, but the wait was uncalled for had to call 2x's to ask where it was

Between the employees to the food this place is amazing. I always get my food early even on peak busy nights. The food always comes fresh, with all of the selected ingredients. Their app is so easy to use and I can even track the entire process, they have awesome deals online and I will be sure to recommend to all of my fellow neighbors. No dough bowls are a joke!! It literally looked like someone scraped the toppings off of a pizza and dumped it. It was one a thin layer which didn't even cover the bottom of the little box. It literally looked like someone's trash.

Watch out for JEFF the so called "General Manager". Ordered online with one of their deals. Large 1 topping for 7.99 when I got to check out it jumped up to 8.99 plus Tax. When I got there I told them of the price discrepancy and Jeff was hostile immediately about it. Jumping around making no sense of the pricing issue! It was just 1.00 not a huge deal but he could have made it right like a "general manager" would do! We were discussing the issue when he got "mad" and took back the pizza! The cashier lady was like " I knew that was going to happen" SOO he has DONE this before! Hot head. Followed my husband and I out of the store to start a Confrontation!!!! Seriously!!! So not only did he have horrible management but he is a hot head. A recipe for disaster. District manager needs to step in.

Had a pizza delivered and while eating a white long strand of hair was found in my pizza. I called the store and told them the issues hoping for a new pizza or at least a refund and they fought the issue saying no one there has that kind of hair. They did not want to help the issue in any way. Didn't offer a new pizza and refused to refund the money. Waste of $20 on a pizza. Don't bother eating at this place. I used to work there. They don't wear gloves or hair nets. Disgusting

My favorite pizza place that I found in this area. Their flavored crust is amazing and they have so many options. The only reason that they have lost a star is because sometimes they will give you somebody else’s order but other than that everything is amazing. Just check your order before you leave the store

Never had such a horrible customer service walk un 2 person on the side of the counter never greet me or not even a eye contact a person from the back Lee was the one came over to help me because I was there for about 10 mins and not help then someone else came in I assume was the manager and ask because I guess head me saying something to him and ask I I told him exactly what happened not even an apology Lee was great thumbs up for him .

It is close to our house so we elect to do online order and pick orders up. Used to use delivery when it was all done by their people but then a delivery service got involved and the first experience was so bad we have not used it since. But everone that works there is very nice and polite. They have always made everything right if they make a mistake which does not happen often. All their pizza's and other foods are alway very good.

Pizzas just starting to get way way too expensive and the people that work there don't care it was super small and hardly any toppings and just very disappointed paid $30 for a pizza and you get 2 slices that aren't even that great At all..and cheese was minimal... They do not deliver anymore even though I live less than 5 minutes from them. So now I drive there to get my food. I have been ordering from them for 9 years. I used to order 4 times a week and now maybe only once a month due to them not delivering anymore. I order my lunch online as per usual and once I arrive they cannot even provide change when I pay with cash. The person said we don't have any cash in my drawer and suggested I go get change somewhere else. I replied, I'm at the place to get change. She went and got her manager who said the same thing. Really? Sounds like your GM needs to do a bank run and figure out their operations. This is pretty sad that even the manager could not solve this. I am done with hungry howies. I'm deleting the app and you will certainly not have anymore business. I'd say I look forward to hearing from the manager but I'm sure that won't happen either.
