Daniel at the office talked to me as the initial one hour conversation about the new construction homes and there was no agreement that their lender would be a good fit for me. He called me back to say they could work it out so I went back in a second time and that’s when he had me fill out a pre-approval application. Instead of talking to me, he called my husband to “blame” us for not verbally sharing information. The whole process is wrong…I have been a home owner before and know the pre-approval is the first step. Turned out to be a big waste of time. I have been preapproved by a lender and will be buying through private sale. This office also needs to be willing to discuss over the phone like other lenders, not insist it be in person.

Poor quality, value and unprofessional. These disgraceful people will spin you in a circle of lies between the staff. They even went as far to reach and try to make false allegations about phone calls was very disappointed. Just like the other comments address these people only want to meet in person and waste hours of your time. Daniel the sales rep ( as mentioned in the other comments ) was a complete lie since the beginning between him and his manager Brandon. Beware stay away from these faulty ignorant animals. Looking back now I found all the articles with all these lawsuits WOW sad case

They will do what they can to get your business then feed you a line of BS. The purchasing of our home was nothing short of a nightmare. Now all the newer houses being built in the neighborhood are getting many upgrades over what I was offered for the same sales price as what we paid. We have been waiting over a month to have a shower door fixed with little to no communication. I am disappointed as when we first started the buying process it seemed like it would go smoothly only to have the buying “rules” changed which allowed them to drag out the process and increase the price of our home almost 60k.

To Mr. Lipar, My name is Brenden and I recently purchased a home in Fort Myers. Since I have bought the home and even before hand I have nothing but issues either with management or the home itself. I have a list of things that needed to be addressed and so far only one has been semi resolved. The biggest one is the foundation is not sealed. I have pictures of the studs exposed. This is getting kinda messy. I would like you to think for a second if this was your home how would you feel? What if you bought a home from a builder and trusted this builder to build a great quality of home only to find out that there’s sooo many issues. Here are a list of some that I have found. The foundation is not sealed and studs are exposed The goose neck damper was jammed shut. Had to remove There’s a huge gab behind the cabinets The counter top is not sealed The fridge is missing the ice maker We have not gotten any information about any of the appliances This house costed me 405,000 and it’s not worth half that. I can’t blame the workers on this cause it’s up to management to ensure this is done correctly. All I want is get these fixed and be done with this nightmare. If no. The next stop is to go public about how a builder is treating their customers and how they sell poor quality homes and how they treat 13 year military veterans. As CEO I’m hoping you care about your company and care about the quality of work that your company provides to its customers. Our sales woman Helen was great. Absolutely zero complaints. None. Anthony and Brandon are the absolute worst. I didn’t go with their lender and that’s when things started to go south. They wouldn’t communicate with us about anything. Delay after delay and issue after issue. They waited for the last second to get everyone done and we were still almost a month behind on closing. I would not recommend this builder. House is beautiful. Don’t do this builder. Find someone else. Someone who actually care for their clients. You’re nothing more than a number to them. Run. They are unprofessional.

We especially commend this company for the way that our sales representative took the time to help us find the home we wanted; by listening to us. We were fortunate to work with Kevin who was able to show us several homes until we found one that suited our desires. The way the entire staff was available to receive our documents and keep the lines of communication open was just what is needed when making such an important purchase. The items that we needed did not change; which was a huge comfort to us. The loan officer, underwriter and the staff at the office are amazing people to work with. Our experience was such an amazing one that we will remember for years to come. We are happy to recommend this team to our closest friends, because they are truly amazing people to work with. They were polite, kind and friendly. We wish that every new home owner would have the experience that we had. My husband loved the free soda and coffee😀, but besides that the staff made themselves available to answer any questions that we had, and that was a huge deal for us.

More than a week waiting for them to repair the walls. They open holes in the the walls and then he just don’t come back to finish. We text them, we call them nobody come. Just a month since we bought the house this is insane

Kevin Tremmel and his manager Anthony were the best. From the fist time we walked in the office-to the last, they have helped us navigate the house buying experience. There were some frustrations with the process but Kevin was always available to talk us through it. We are thrilled with our new house and have made some new friends along the way. What more can you ask for? I would do it all again,(I don't want to mind you), if I knew they would be the ones helping us through it. We purchased our home back in September 2020. I believe we started our process for purchasing in either late jully or early August. Our agent was Henry, I cant express how happy Nd grateful i am with the service, and company over all. My home is beautiful, more than i thought it would ever be. The price for my house is very resonable for the quality, and labor that is put into LGI homes. The customer service recieved throught the whole process is unlike no other. Thank you Henry for having patience with us no matter how many times we freaked out, and thank you LGI team for all the hard work put in to help us acheive our home owner goal. Our neighbors, and neighborhood is also really nice!

My family and I recently bought a home from LGI. Bret Bumgarner was very helpful and he stayed on top of everything when it came to us needing more information from other people in his office. He reassured my husband and I that everything that we saw that needed to be fixed before closing would be done and it was. Bret went above and beyond and even after closing he checked up on us to see how we were doing. Definitely recommend seeing Bret if you are looking to buy a house.

I would have given 5 stars if LGI would give their buyers a little bit of customization options. I would say they need to be more picky about who’s doing the work on the houses as we’ve had to warranty several things now that were just plan careless work quality. I did not check on time because it was a month late being finished. Mostly due to permits. Kevin was great though, did an amazing job for us keeping us updated regularly on the progress of the build and finding answers to questions we may have along the way that he might know off the top of his head.

I had an amazing experience during my home buying at LGI Kevin is very professional. He took very good care of me. What I like about him is his Sincerity. He takes his time to explain things to you so that you exactly what to expect. He is so down to earth. He makes himself available to you all the way through.

Advertise no money down homes. Went in was approved for a loan then told that oh no you dont qualify for no money down but you do qualify for our very low interest rate. Told the sales guy we could not come up with over $8k after he showed us partly built houses which we did like 2 of them. Was under the impression that they had no money down if you where qualified but apparently it's only a select few who get the no money down. We cannot come up with over $8k in a month to buy a home. After I was told I had to transfer to a work location near the place the homes where being built to qualify. Now I'm stuck at a location to far to drive to and cannot get there. Need to fix the no money down advertising and add no money down to certain people. Pretty disappointed after being amped up that we would be getting a house (he even brought a sold sign with him) and to walk away without one. There are other places out there that are cheaper in price better built homes that wont misguide you. I will say our sales guy was nice just alittle push.

Mariaelena showed my family and me every model of the houses they have to offer. She or the others working with her are not pushy at all. She was very patient, answered all of our questions (there were seven of us), and was very knowledgeable about the area and the houses. This is the second time going there to help my brother decide what model he wants for his first home.

Homes are nice. Some of their info in posting is false. Houses are not in mirror lakes and do not have amenities, when asked the sales guys try to tell me what amenities meant. I blame this on the person not the company

This place is amazing. I had no plans to buy a home at first, but their kindness, understanding, and assistance in my difficult situation was above and beyond. Avoid LGI at all costs! After over a year waiting on a home, constant shabby construction being pointed out, finally closed on the home. Now having to wait MONTHS on end to get warranty service on the home, they stop responding, over 3 months and still waiting on punch list items to be repaired, not they stop answering emails. Very poor customer service and management. Executive management won’t respond to calls either to escalate matters.
