Unexpectedly nice food and atmosphere in the restaurant. It appears to have undergone some renovation and has been redecorated. The portions of the food was more than enough between three of us, with the mixed grill sharing platter for two and the platter of dips with warm bread was a delight. The Turkish tea is also very nice for those cold evenings. The waiters were very attentive and the seating was cosy. I would come here again to dine.

Really loved this restaurant. It was super clean. You can see inside the kitchen and it was spotless. That made me even more comfortable. The decor and lighting was great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food and presentation is A++ It was my first time visiting as part of my birthday treats from my hubby and I was not disappointed at all. The prices were reasonable (didn't spend more than £50). If you are not sure what to order the staff are delighted to help you. The location was perfect, about a minute from the train station.

The decor and the service was good. They forgot our starters but we're very apologetic and it came straight after. The food is delicious and has live cooking!

Nice kebab but everything else was pretty standard. Visited here expecting to be blown away with the food but unfortunately not. Very quiet when we visited so not much waiting time. Staff were great and the restaurant itself is a very pleasant setting for a get together.

Our experience of Etci Baba was excellent. The grilled food was tasty. Ambience of the restaurant was brilliant. Staff is super friendly and it was not expensive like other etcis. Highly recommended if you are around Leicester.

Having been in Leicester for ages, my first trip to Etci Baba was a mixed bag. The flavors were on point, and the vibe was cool. But, here's the kicker – they ran out of some stuff on the menu, like the elusive Strawberry Mojito and the missing rice side, leaving us with just fries or mashed potatoes. Not exactly what we had in mind. On the flip side, the service was top-notch, especially thanks to the apologetic waitress, HANNAH. She went out of her way to make up for the menu letdowns, and that counted big time in our overall experience.

Hands down the best restaurant I've been to in the Midlands. Halal meals and friendly staff. Huge thank you to the staff for helping out with regard to the impromptu request I had with my date. The cheesecake is one to have everytime and the platter for two is ideal and filling for two. The strawberry mojito mocktail was excellent and the ambience was a calm one with no loud music. Excellent chef and overall an awesome experience. Also had complimentary Turkish tea and bread. Thank you to everyone again, I'll be back.

the food was so good and the restaurant is so nice inside and all staff were kind and helpful especially Halima. definitely somewhere everyone should go on a night out to eat
