A Reddit thread says this place was voted the best coffee shop in Leicester, so I wanted to try. I only had a latte and it was great👍 so was the service! I like that you can find different vibes in one place: bright and sunny space around the bar / dim-lit and romantic zone further inside / and downstairs where you can sit in a big group.

The atmosphere is amazing at this coffee. Very friendly staff and the best part is when they welcome me with a nice simple. The drinks are amazing, you may give a try the iced chocolate if you like cold drinks.

A cozy warm date place. Loved the ambience and the elegant vibes it gives off, not to forget the good coffee. Friendly bubbly staff and a great place to visit.

Good coffee, very pleasant folk in charge. Nice touch - water available on side table with sugar etc. Was too early for breakfast, kitchen opens at 9/00. Happy to go again anytime

Hired the basement out for a 60th birthday surprise afternoon tea& it was perfect! They provided all the food, drinks and bakes and everything was delicious. Great service too& everyone was so friendly and helpful🥰🤍

This place rocks. The team of young passionate givers of kindness and smiles were awesome. 1st time going but after learning how great they are in food quality, atmosphere, and chai or coffee (wow! No joke. Awesome.), we are coming back. It was so strange. Outside doesn't look that appealing but once inside, nice. Very nice. It is a hidden gem that many people knew, not us, but now we can't wait to come back.

Best cafe in Leicester. The drinks are always tasty 🤤. But the reason I always go to them is bcz of the staffs' amazing customer service and their behaviour. They are sweet and patient when you are confused about what to order. My favourite(s) drinks of theirs are hot chocolate and mocha Frappuccino. 😍

What a terrible experience. No hot food, they had no change when I gave them a tenner, awful tasting coffee, and they run via policy I was told, so they don't allow people in need to use the toilet. Not a way to run a business. Won't be going back.

First time here & it was very good. The coffee was very good, they use St. Martins coffee here. I had a mozzarella & pesto toasted sandwich, as did my friend which we both really enjoyed. Another friend had the tomatoe soup & grilled cheese sandwich and she said that it was lovely. I will definitely go back!

The atmosphere and service was lovely but my iced vanilla latte was not the best if I’m being honest. It needed much more ice and the vanilla syrup was way too strong and overpowering. I would go there again but I would order something else :)

6 degrees is a breath of fresh air, amazing staff, amazing food and drink and such good service. the team is delightful, would recommend to anyone Leicester based to give it a go!

Very lovely and peaceful place. I ordered only coffee latte but we have 2 coffees to choose, sweet or stronger one. I took sweet one and was very tasty even without any sugar. Music there was so calm and all I felt like in American movies with all of this. Only what you could add is patterns on coffee to make it looks better Really recommend

I was walking past this coffee shop every day for the past 6 months. Finally walked in for a quick takeaway cappuccino. And I was not disappointed! So nice and cosy inside and the coffee was delicious. Definitely will go back.

I had an unfortunate experience at this café. Got servings of hair in my food and the milk was off as it made my tea stink and there were pieces of sour milk floating around in my tea. Management didn't really care! When I requested a refund they guilt tripped me by saying they're a charity and I'm not very supportive in their efforts.

What a lovely comfy place to come with our tiny grandson for a cuppa and shelter from the thunder! Thank you for making us so welcome, and what lovely toys you had for Charlie. Such a nice atmosphere, not even mentioning great pots of tea and delicious apple flapjack. Will defo come again if we're ever in Leicester again.

Great little coffee shop, love all the socially minded stuff they do. Loved it even more once I'd discovered the downstairs!! Can be tough getting up from the sofas tho!!

Lovely coffee place lots to choose from to eat or drink. Lovely staff, space upstairs and down. Very happy for my to work at their place for the afternoon!

Love this place! Independent and all for charity! Had a lovely butternut squash salad here, only £5! I love the mochas (soya milk), and there are vegan options :)

Excellent customer service, very welcoming towards us and my 18 month & 2 year old nephew. Food was 10/10 and all the coffees were perfect! The pay as you go service is great too!

So glad I tried this coffee shop after meaning to for a while. Staff were so friendly and the cappuccino was lovely. The grated chocolate on top was a great touch!

Used to volunteer here and now I go in as a customer here and there. I would highly recommend. All three(Staff, Coffee and food)are great. Great place to volunteer and pick up new skills e.g. make food and drinks. The only downside I would say is that the almond croissant get sold out fast😥. Apart from that great place.

Reasonable price, cozy place, delicious food and great coffee ☕️ Recommend to order its sandwiches, because it has the salad, bread and meat that is enough for a meal! And the staffs there are kind and friendly 😊

Excellent coffee and relaxing atmosphere. Very nice cosy basement for hiding away and getting through work. Perfect for professionals and postgrads. There can be a fair wait at busy times in the morning and lunch. They do a fantastic bacon and brie toastie!

Best coffee shop in Leicester!! Absolutely incredible coffee (I had a pumpkin spice latte with coconut milk), and the food was delicious (I had maple bacon pancakes), the atmosphere was really lovely and was a great way to spend my afternoon. Lovely staff, each one so caring and welcoming. The whole coffee shop has been renovated and is under new management and now looks incredible! Both upstairs and downstairs seating looks fantastic, spacious and clean. Music in the background was very calm and nice. Along with all that, love the fact they are raising money for open hands, a local charity. My favourite coffee shop in Leicester! Definitely worth the visit!
