    The floors and tables are disgustingly filthy with flies near the windows, such a breeding ground for those pests. The staff's incessant chitchatting gives the impression that they find this sorry state of affairs amusing. The customer service is abysmal, with employees cleaning one moment and then handling food without bothering to wash their hands. Take a good look at their hands if you dare. It's a miracle that no one has fallen ill yet. The staff lacks any semblance of enthusiasm and couldn't care less about their responsibilities. Don't they teach basic customer service skills at McDonald's? Well, not at this place. And to top it off, they can't even follow simple instructions when preparing orders, resulting in numerous burger mistakes. If any area manager has the decency to read this, it's high time for a complete staff overhaul. This establishment is an absolute disgrace. There are plenty of hardworking individuals who would kill for a job, yet you insist on retaining such inept staff. Consider this a clear and concise message.

    McDonald's gave me a fish burger instead of a "Vegetable Deluxe". I know, I am dumb because I ate it before realising. I kept saying, "what's it made of?" and "doesn't it taste like fish?" No one else thought so saying instead it's tasteless like vegetables. I only realised when I looked on McDonald's website about what it should have looked like.

    One of the better McDonalds I have been to, good parking, drive through looks busy, food was good and quick. Facilities are tired, table tablets for kids are missing, table phone chargers don’t work. No electric parking.

    I did order ( Abby lane - Leicester) BBQ and Bacon chicken but I mentioned No bacon wrapped and it's come with bacon. I spoke Manager Yvette and assistant Manager Anish Patel both are said it's only mistake. They don't have proper Training staff. I had 2 times very bad experience. So make sure before eat food checkup right or wrong. Basically who has allergy problem. " Carefully" 😱😱😱😱😱

    We order two happy meals, 3 burgers, wrap, two ice cream and two frappe. We was waiting for the order 17min. We got melted ice cream. Both milkshakes was melted plus kids wanted chocolate and got vanilla. Same with frappe. My big mac was cold and wrap did look like after war. I spend over 30min to changed wrong stuff. Terrible experience

    What you get from your regular McDonald's, but a more chilled out store. It can get busy in here but nowhere near as bad as some of the other McDonald's around the city. They have a pretty big car park so never have to worry about parking, and their drive-thru isn't too narrow like some places.

    Stopped here after visiting the space center for a quick meal on the road. Very busy and quite dirty as a restaurant. Toilets were fairly clean which was a nice surprise compared to the main restaurant. Food arrived quickly and was well prepared.

    Ordered at the drive thru. Had to wait about 10minutes for the food even if I was only one car and no cars before me waiting. Food was cold and awful. Pieces of onion in big tasty were size bigger than lettuce. Fries taste awful. Food was very poor quality. Staff was friendly and helpful as they advice what to choose to drink as milkshakes were over that day. Won't go there again.

    Extremely unprofessional. Drive thru I am welcomed with “hiya”. Not welcome to McDonald’s or can I take your order…just hiya. Second window I’m told the price and handed my change with “here’s your change” maybe a thank you or something would be more professional or polite. I did say something at this point but was greeted with a dirty look. 14:45 on 24/6/2023. I will be forwarding this to McDonald’s and not just this branch.

    Used the drive through, ordered burger & chips and Nugget Meal with ketchup, told to wait in a bay, some time later we were handed a bag through window. No ketchup and no serviettes. Have you ever tried to eat one of those stacked burgers in a car with no serviettes? Bits falling out, greasy hands. Had to go into the building to get what should have been in the bag. Spoilt our experience, penny pinching. Not happy.

    This is an extremely slow McDonald's. I've been may times over the years and its been very slow for a few a while now. They priorities delivies and you get put in a holding bay every single time. No matter the size of order. Your food will sit there for a while before they give it to you. If your in a rush do not go this McDonald's even if you order on the app it will be slow. The pros are the cleaning staff are pretty good in there if your sitting inside. Other that that it's not good.

    I have visited this branch of mcdonalds serveral times in the past and food has always been fine.however on my last visit I was left feeling very disappointed as not only was the eating area filthy with remains of food on the floor and on the tables in serveral areas of the restaurant with no one coming to clean or check.we received our meal and the chips were warm with no salt been added to them so they tasted very bland and also ordered a happy meal with a book but received a toy instead but when I went upto the desk to exchange it they said we have ran out books come back next week and we will exchange it

    Yet again let down by McDonalds. I'm not sure why they can't seem to get basic things right, but they can't. Food tasty but if you get your order correct, you're lucky. This time, no sauce for nuggets, no fries as part of meal and delivery left on doorstep without even ringing bell, so, stone cold! This is through McDonalds app! Tried to contact store 5 times, but surprise, surprise, no answer, hence 1* review. Won't be ordering from this useless organisation.

    I have to say that this is one of the best, if not THE best McDonald's I've ever been to. We ordered the meal, which included 12 chicken nuggets with 4 dips, 3 burgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks and we'd not been sat down for more than about 20 seconds and it was brought to us! It was hot, fresh and perfect.

    Placed order on drive through. Very pleasant lady took order and even greeted my dog when I was paying. Got asked to wait in bay 1. All good so far. A few minutes another friendly lady came out with 2 orders on a tray. Mine and for bay 2. Unfortunately I received the other persons order and they must have received mine. I ordered 2 breakfast meals. Other person must have ordered a breakfast meal and a bacon roll. The wife had the bacon roll and I had the breakfast roll as no time to go into store and have order corrected. Mistakes happen. I only lost 40p and the other customer gained 40p. My only gripe with McDonald's is that customers no longer get asked if they want sugar for hot drinks or wooden stirrers, if they require tissues or hand wipes. That makes it poor service. In future I will make sure I ask for all items. It has never happened before as all the items were put in the bag you received the food in. Apart from that I was very pleased with staff attitudes and friendliness. One star removed for wrong order and missing essentials listed above.

    I ordered and almost received a perfect meal except my latte (large) was half empty. A supervisor was able to correct the issue but I feel issues occur too much here so despite being grateful, I’m giving 3 stars

    I come a few times to this McDonald’s. Have to says the service has disappointed me in the past. But today really takes the cake I ask more sauce.I was given 1 asked if I could have 2.was told no it’s 1per meal?! How ridiculous! They already charge a lot since prices have gone up but really only 1?! Other other franchises offer more! This is appalling I know the economy isn’t the best but we know McDonald’s still make millions but the nerve. It left a sour taste in my mouth after leaving and looking f forward to a happy meal. Bad customer service along with mad management.

    Gave us three burgers, when we paid for four. Manager didn't believe us despite the fact we complained literally two minutes after receiving the item. Had them check cctv, whilst a crazy worker is yelling from the back saying she definitely put 4 in the bag. CCTV showed us to be right. No apologies given. They were very unhappy in giving us our forth burger. Never had this happen anywhere else.

    Went to McDonald yesterday at Abbey lane. In Leicester, it's the only place I go. Because the service and the food and super clean in there and staff are so friendly. Been to many McDonald's, but this Is one of the best. Congratulations To all of the staff for making My experience amazing thank you

    AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST !!! Ordered through Drive through and asked to wait on bay 2. After waiting for so long decided to go in and collect the order. Inside the restaurant was not busy at all hardly anyone at the tables. When I asked about my order staff replied me in a rude manner and no apology at all. French fries was raw and soggy. Never ever visit this place again.

    Ordered through the McDonald's app tonight and was left thoroughly disappointed yet again. No sauce for the nuggets, missing fries that were supposed to be part of a meal, and the big and cheesy didn't have the red onions in it that was specified on the menu. It would be nice if McDonald's could inform you of such menu changes, but alas, no such luck. Ordered through the app and the driver decided it was okay to leave the order on the doorstep without bothering to ring the bell or knock. If I hadn't had checked the tracking I wouldn't have known it was out there. Food was stone cold. This is the second time we've had problems from this branch. The last time they missed off a whole burger, so my partner was left with just fries and drink. We tried to phone 4-5 times tonight but no answer. I used to work at McDonald's for 5 years and these are not the standards that I was trained to. It seems that no-one bothers to check the orders these days, and the lack of care and attention is more and more common. Won't be ordering from them again.

    One of of the worst mcdonald's in leicester everytime without fail no matter how small the order in the drive thru you will be made to park up and wait and they will bring it out to you luke warm after wandering the car park helplessly looking for your car. I'll literally drive out of my way to not use this establishment, the syston mcdonald's is head and shoulders above this one.

    I refuse to go here anymore. Everytime I get coke it’s completely flat. You want something refreshing to wash down the food instead I’m having to force down Coke Zero that taste like it’s been opened and left out in the sun for a week.

    Hi today date(29/7/2023 time 5:05pm) i went mcd abbeylane for eat some food and cold drink(frap) . There is kay shift manager is there . I have dibitice . I am hungry also i seen that food is ready infront of my eye and frap cream going down they put my food 10 min side than they provide cold food and. Hot frape whats meaning of this.they are play with my helth. Shift manager kay shooting on me its alright food is ok littrlly food is cold he start misbhave with me and abuse me @ say get out why we are not human .i paid money for my food. He play totally recesisum game .higher authority you have to remove him as manager.otherwise i complain aginst him in council and all legal way. You take action against this shift manager kay.he is not qualified for shift manager. (Shift manager aaron really good and this type of shift manager you need appriciated.)

    So I ordered through JustEat.. one of the Shift Managers rang me, let me know they didn't have the ceaser sauce and asked what sauce I'd like instead.. that was fine.. however the wrap that arrived was just mayo and chicken, I rang them up explained and the same manager answered, he was super lovely, very understanding and replaced the wrap for me.. I didn't get his name but he was really lovely! Wonderful service from him, so if he sees this I'd just like to say another big thank you xx

    We ordered 9 nuggets and got 7 we also ordered a large fries and they came as medium. We had to wait in the parking lot 30 mins!? And when our food finally came it was cold, we ordered 2 curry sauces and didn’t get any. Absolutely shocking.

    Cold food, messy packaging, missing items. Ordered happy meals were not put together, there were basically two empty happy meal boxes that were thrown in the bag and all food items that meant to be inside happy meals were scattered around the main packaging. Toys from happy meal were not present. Chips (6 packs) were all over the bottom of the delivery bag, all soggy and wet from other food items that were also not properly packed. I just went down there to return it, even so I ordered food to avoid leaving the house at night in the first place. I could never eat that food, the worst ordering experience I’ve ever had

    Last year I came at the McDonald’s on abbey lane and it was one was the worst experience I had in McDonald’s and this year again for the children party and it was completely different. We were best served and we have the best service from the staff and the manager was so helpful. Thank you 😊

    Couldn’t even get my very simple order for me and my child correct. After getting home I realised I was missing a quarter pounder burger, the chips were also cold by the time I got home and no offer of sauces/salt/ pepper and to top it off When I called to complain the phone is engaged for 10/15 minutes. Not the easy lunch I was hoping for 👎🏼

    Got all our food adding extra of the nice dip for 40p a go. To find when I got home to eat my food all 5 dips where missing. Including the specific hot nugget dip. Food was dry and didn’t fancy it Not happy at all with service

    It was a slow experience yesterday at this McDonalds. We were tight on time to pick up from school and from pulling in to queue up for the drive through it took more than 10 minutes to queue through the drive through when there weren’t many cars then we had to pull in a waiting slot and wait another 5 minutes so we were late for school pickup. It’s supposed to be fast food! Food was hot at least.

    This has got to be the worst McDonald's on the entire planet. Drive thru, you can be the only person in the queue and still sent to a bay where you have to then watch someone roam around a car park with your food, so it's nice and cold by the time you receive it. If you order for delivery it's rare you get a complete order. I'm pretty sure there is either no management or it's ran by llamas.

    My partner and I come here at least twice a week with our daughter because she loves a McDonalds. What 3 year old kid doesn't? However, every time, the order is wrong, something is always missing and the service is absolutely shocking. The parking is about as good as the staff. Useless.
