The service was outstanding! The staff were all really helpful and greeted us with smiles and chocolates for our kids on arrival. They have a nice large reception area, easy parking, great bar and restaurant. I would not hesitate in the slightest in recommending this hotel.

This hotel was a real disappointment. We cut our 3 nights to 2 as the beds were awful and there was a lot of traffic noise despite us being situated on the 8th floor; difficult to have a good nights sleep. The parking is a absolute rip off for £17.95 per night and they no longer offer multiple exits like advertised so expect to pay extra during the day. The staff didn’t even notice that we cut our stay short which goes to show they don’t value guests. The bathroom did not have fans for ventilation. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Holiday Inn exceeded expectations with its inviting lobby adorned with tasteful decor. The bar station, boasting an aesthetic appeal, doubles as an excellent backdrop for photo enthusiasts. The hotel's strategic location enhances the overall experience, providing convenient access to key attractions. While the car park is a brief 6-minute walk from the hotel, it adds a minor inconvenience offset by the overall positive features. The breakfast experience stood out with a commendable variety of options that cater to diverse preferences. The attentive service during breakfast was a notable highlight, ensuring our needs were promptly and courteously met. Holiday Inn strikes a balance between aesthetic appeal, strategic positioning, and service quality, making it a recommendable choice for a satisfying stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here: from the food; to the room; and to the function room - everything was really well-presented. The service we had from our server (apologies for forgetting her name) during the meal was perfectly weighted in regards to attention and conversation. The added bonus of being able to park in the High Cross shopping centre for £8 for 24hrs was great too and really easy to validate (we forgot to get an updated ticket when we left which took us over 24hrs - so watch out for that!) Would definitely recommend staying here if you happen to need a really central hotel

Stayed here overnight with my wife and 2 children after visiting the National Space Centre. Check in was easy and the chocolate bars for my children were a nice touch. All staff were welcoming and friendly. The family room was clean and spacious. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast the next morning, both were very enjoyable. My son has food allergies and the care given to prepare his food was very reassuring. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

The service here is excellent, as is the choice at breakfast. The rooms are big and comfortable, but some don't have a bath and a shower, and I do like to have the choice. The hotel is located next to a car park which is very convenient, albeit it's expensive. The hotel is built in the centre of a busy roundabout and albeit there are pedestrian crossings....they're not conveniently located. Customers would benefit from some kind of underpass or additional crossing to prevent an overly circuitous route to cross the road. Excellent proximity to the city centre though.

We stayed here for a night and had a great stay. The team was very friendly and looked after us. The rooms were nice and very spacious (do excuse our stuff in the photos) and the bed was very comfortable. It's a slight pain that the hotel doesn't have a relationship with the car park opposite (rather than the one a 5-10 min walk away) as they charge £24 for 24 hours! Not ideal for guests, but overall we had a great stay.

We have just stayed at the holiday inn 129 st Nicholas circle in Leicester for the weekend with my husband and two children. It was a lovely stay, comfy bed in a lovely clean spacious room. The breakfast was delicious, great variety and good quality food. The breakfast staff both Saturday and Sunday morning were all adorable.. so friendly and they honestly couldn’t do anymore for us. The chef even went above and beyond and made my son some delicious pancakes. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.. from just the breakfast experience alone. Fantastic!!

Do you know I can't rate this place highly enough? The rooms were quiet and we all had a great night's sleep. staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was lush. My son is now addicted to soup thanks to the leak and potato soup he ate on the first night. it is centrally located. Right next to Leicester Center. But as I say, is very quiet. The only downside is that you have to pay for the ncp car park on-site. Which, as we were staying, quite a number of nights was very expensive, but this was balanced by the cheap cost for the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody. And I am in fact looking to book for later on this year. When I come to see Leicester cathedral when it is open. We all had a smashing break, and my son didn't want to leave.

Heating not working , shower then also cold and hairdryer not working so left for important client meeting with wet hair. I did not have time to sort or change rooms as was in late and out early but was a miserable stay in one of my favourite chains

Given space here while baby granddaughter was in hospital. Lovely room, great customer service. Loved the option to have a bath. Excellent breakfast. Parking was a bit of a pain but doable. Great location for city centre. Some noise from the road if you want a window open.

We stayed at Holiday Inn, Nicholas circle area. Ambience is good and the breakfast area is well spread out. We were pleased to get good table service as well as we had a small kid also along. Would particularly like to mention Dixita who seemed to be new staff but always happy to help with a smile. Also would like to appreciate another staff at the reception, who promptly agreed and helped us change our room at the night as there was bit of an issue with the bathroom water drainage. Thanks 🙏

Drove here from London and stayed here for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding in Leicester. It did the job for us as we were not spending loads of time in the room. Room size was good, plenty of open space to place bags down. There was an iron and ironing board in the room which was great! Only problem was, apart from the single hook on the back of the bathroom door, there was no where else to hand the clothes up. The cupboard had a small section which would probably only hang clothes that fit a baby. There is a parking lot right outside the hotel door, but this cost just over £20 a day. The hotel offered discounted £6 a day parking in the city center which was about a 6-7 minutes walk. They should really sort out a discount with the parking lot outside the door. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Perfectly good for what we needed! Only a short walk from De Montfort University, which was important to us for the British Chess Championships. All the Leicester bars, cafes and restaurants were only a short walk away. Very good location! Nice clean rooms, good customer service. Took good care of our Gluten Intolerant family member during breakfast and - importantly - they dealt with him quickly and didn't leave him hanging like so many other hotels do. It's reasons like this, that will bring us back here again and again. Great stuff!

Great location, close to city centre for bars and restaurants and shopping. If you want a bit more culture, then there plenty of museums and galleries within short walking distance. Rugby and football stadiums 15-30 mins away. Clean rooms and helpful friendly staff. 👌

One of the better Holidays Inn's I've stayed at. Service was great here and room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was average but again the service was great and when I made specific food requests they produced it rapidly. Only let down to this hotel is they don't have their own parking and the car park adjacent was over £20 for a single night!

This hotel was outstanding! Great rooms with comfy beds. Ample toiletries, soft fluffy towels and great food in the restaurant. Breakfast was a veritable feast and plenty of it. But what made it shine was the Manager and his staff! Nothing was too much trouble! They cleared tables and reset quickly and did all this with a beautiful smile on their face. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Whoever is training their staff has got it absolutely right! The customer is king and they treat you like a king! Thank you. Xxx

Nice room, with 2 double beds. There was a draft coming through the windows beading though so we requested extra quilts. Reception were happy to leave them in our room, but we had to put the duvet covers on ourselves. Not a massive deal, but considering the draft was coming through a shut window I did think that was poor customer care. Everything else was fine, the receptionists were very pleasant. Breakfast was lovely too. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

I booked a weekend stay at this hotel and the service was excellent, as was the quality and range of the food. The room was reasonably clean, but spacious and quiet, despite being on the side facing a busy road. It's located near the city centre but it's a good walk so it may be easier to drive or get a taxi to travel to places. Parking is available in the car park next to the hotel for a charge.

Room was lovely, clean and tidy. Beds were super comfy and we had enough pillows lol have always had to ask for another one. Staff were excellent, really friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Definitely going back when we come up to see the in laws.

Be cautious of what you get. Booked a "Super king" room and got a standard double bed. Didn't notice at check in as rushed out and hit hay at 1am when got back. Room 301. Breakfast nice and varied, and great service and care given there. There might be nicer rooms here as per photos but you might get a dud if you care about that. I spoke with the hotel manager who called personally to discuss the issue, that level of service is rare these days so very appreciated

Absolutely the best hotel stay that I've had in a long time. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean, extremely comfy bed. Food was amazing, and the care taken with allergies was incredibly reassuring. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Fantastic service received by everyone who works in that hotel. The room was spacious clean and had everything you needed . Breakfast was amazing with a good variety of choice. Only one snag and one disappointment is that I had to pay an additional £30 for parking which I thought was included in the price on my room , so when booking please read it carefully. Will definitely be returning.

I enjoyed staying here. The rooms are super spacious. Not having any ceiling light can be annoying tho. What’s that about anyway? Why don’t they have any ceiling lights???? Amazing breakfast tho and fantastic service. Jackie from the breakfast bar was super amazing! She makes your day by providing service with a smile.
