Very good rooms with a nice temperature. I didn't notice elevator for the disabled but that's because I wasn't looking for it, so I'm not sure if they have. The restrooms are hygienic. One thing to mark is the volume, for me is just too loud. For little children it's not advisable

Nice movie cinema, I come often with the kids. This time, we watched Barbie for the girls Ninja Turtles for the boys. Wait time was minimal. Waiting area to see the movie was really nice with lovely lights. There are several floors, and each has the popcorn area with lift access. You could also get iced cream gelato and so many candy combinations. It's busier during the weekends, holidays and in the evening when work and school close with more families go out to catch some breeze. Has John Lewis and Nando's just next door so I did some shopping and chopping afterwards.

Best cinema in Leicester by a long stretch. We don't go to often but when we do its impressive. Spacious and clean. Just found out they're re playing the original Evil Dead soon. AMAZING.

This is a great cinema in a great location; you can park up in the John Lewis car park and it's very accessible also not far from buses. We saw 'Bullet Train' in the 'Director's Hall'. Tickets at Lux Showcase are more than say Vue but you feel the quality! 'Director's Hall' has it own bar and toilets, large very comfy seats in auditorium with your own table where you bring your beverages and snacks in... you can have a drink in bar before/ after the film... does make the whole experience more of an occasion - 👌

One of the bigger Showcase Cinema’s I’ve been too, with 3 floors. A few bars available for pre-movie drinks but they were closed when we visited. Central location next to a lot of restaurants and fast food, and the theatres themselves are large and comfortable. If you’ve been to one Showcase, you’ve been to them all.

Not bad, a little tight on space where the seats are listed as more comfortable than standard seats. Was really untidy before we went in. Did not see many attendants checking in to ensure there were no disruptive customers, which there were on 2 of my 4 visits. Some staff at food the counter did not look like they wanted to be there, one, or two were great.

Went to see Barbie movie, ended up in screen 7 which is accessed through the director's lounge. This room has a bar, which I think it a realy good touch for modern cinemas. The film we went to see was mid-day so didn't sample the bar! Seats leather, wide and comfy but not full recline as in other showcase sceens we have been to before.

Excellent! Easy to buy tickets at the auto ticket point inside the foyer. Once inside the cinema itself, very, very comfortable seats, all with good views as they slope up perfectly from front to back and all in a clean environment. Good value outing, and much, much better than watching a film at home. We will be going at least once a week from now on, especially now that we have registered for Insider Cards giving us discounts and rewards. Really glad that we used this venue, after years of not really going to the cinema - we will now be regulars. Great value afternoon out.

The cinema itself looks nice and modern but the seating could be better.. squeaky noises when you lean back on them and after an hour of sitting they get uncomfortable. Showcase in my city has a full leather recliner in all its screening rooms and it makes the cinema experience that little bit better

Went to the website to book a tickets and they have audacity to charge 4 pound in admin fees, what a joke.... I thought I will give them a shot, as never before been in their cinemas, but no, thank you, back to where I know what I'm getting for my money. we are no longer in 1980, booking using internet saves them money as they don't have to employ people to process bookings, and I take responsibility to do the work here, what are they trying to charge me for here ? Disgraceful...

For the love of God PLEASE IMPROVE YOUR SOUND SYSTEM!!!👎👎👎👎👎 Screen No.3 has got Screen burns or something it has huge purple blue spot in the middle of the screen which kills the whole original color codes of the movie print Sometimes screen gets bigger sometimes it don't. Then what's the point of watching a movie in a cinema where screen is not large? If I want to see a movie on a teeny tine screen then I can go to ODEON! These things matters the most and honestly these are essentials in a great cinema experience. Would give 5 stars if you fix these issues and I won't even care about your bathrooms always being nasty smelly broken and no soap in dispensers all the time..

The sound and picture are good, what you'd expect from a cinema. Seats are fine, again, nothing special. What I take issue with is the fact that every time I use the toilet there, there is never any soap or the dispensers are broken.

The best cinema experience and cinema I have ever been to. Spacious, comfortable, luxurious seats. Lovely staff! Clean and just a great place to visit. Loved it and would go back tomorrow if I could, but I don't live in Leicester, but will be visiting again on my return.

Great cinima but my daughter was given a broken seat when we asked for a move they told her to move a seat to the right so she was nor sitting with us.... Not a great responce. Also the icecream her are tiny not worth the money at all. The chips didn't have any flavor either. Oh drear you can do better than this surely! The film spiderman was great though can't wait for the next part. Sorry its an honest review as always.

Showcase Cinema de Lux is a great cinema for movie-goers who are looking for affordable ticket prices and a comfortable viewing experience. As an Insider member, the ticket prices are fantastic and make it easy to see all the latest films without breaking the bank. While the cinema's screens are generally of a good standard, some of the seating could definitely do with an update. However, this is a minor issue and doesn't detract from the overall viewing experience. The staff at Showcase Cinema de Lux are always friendly and helpful, making the cinema a welcoming and enjoyable place to visit. Whether you're picking up your tickets or grabbing some snacks, the staff are always on hand to assist you with anything you need. Overall, Showcase Cinema de Lux is a great choice for anyone looking for an affordable cinema experience with friendly staff. While the seating could use an update, the fantastic ticket prices more than make up for it. I would definitely recommend this cinema to anyone looking to catch the latest films on the big screen.

Really disappointing service today resulted in a volatile situation which could have easily been avoided with manners and good customer service. The server was very rude to a well built muscular man who (quite rightly) was annoyed! It was embarrassing for the cinema and completely the result of rude, poor customer service. I took my family for a meal instead. I won’t be returning.

Visited for a 'totally tots' event; the screen was pretty much empty! Very friendly and helpful member of staff at the ticket office desk. Booster seats are available for younger ones which came useful for a 4 year old. Toilets were clean.

This is movie theatre in general is great! They have a variety of food options, screens are big but the seats are not too good. We sat next to someone with a squeaky seat in a horror movie! But generally they’re not that comfortable so that’s why I dropped a star. But prices are reasonable.

Came to view Avatar in 3d with Dolby surround sound. It was incredible. The sound alone was worth the money. Have already got my tickets booked to see Avatar2.

Bad experience. The heating wasn’t working in screen 2 and it was absolutely freezing. Was informed the thermostat was broken however the screen 2 should have been closed as it’s a health and safety issue. Will not be coming here again! People should not be able to bring in food from outside and don’t attend cinemas if you’re unwell. There was a person who was constantly coughing which was a concern for our health and a distraction.

I go here FREQUENTLY. The staff are amazing, there's frequent Event screenings showcasing niche and old films on the big screen, a variety of screens- one of the best movie going experiences for your money! Get an Insider card as well, currently £5 a ticket!!!

Went to watch super pets really nice cinema my only complaint is the food shop really expensive brought two bags of sweet and one coke cost £12 (TO EXPENSIVE) and when I pay for my stuff the lady was not helpful at all when she gave me my empty cup I had to ask her were I go and get the coke from. All she said other end of the counter (like I was in her way) so want to the other end of the counter. Found the coke machine can't work it ask a man behind the counter how to woke it he was telling instructions over the counter still cannot work it so he had to come round to help when you spent £12 on two bags of sweets and a coke you expect the staff to be a bit more helpful.

Reasonable cost. Spacious and seats maintain good back posture. I had a nice experience at showcase. The seats could be a bit more comfortable however they are not bad.

The place itself is nice with very comfortable seating though I feel the volume could be slightly louder

I love how comfy the seats are but on my last 2 trips it has been too cold due to the air con. Also, there has been no soap in the ladies top floor toilets. Gross.

Director's Lounge to see Top Gun Maverick. Great film, always love the Director's Lounge experience but this time a little disappointed that the bar staff seemed unprepared for the volume of customers. I ordered a nice glass of wine to enjoy with the film but was told there were no wine glasses available, it would be served in a mixer glass. After a niggle they did wash a glass up for me which was good. When all tickets are booked in advance, surely this little frustration could be avoided. All the same, I'll come again!!

Pretty decent, clean little cinema in the ideal location if you're planning a day out in Leicester. My only issue is the popcorn; it didn't taste very good and it was prepacked.

Came here to see the new jurassic world but for the first half of the film it was so blurred, many people complained and eventually they fixed it. Once finished we complained to the staff and the manager was nice enough to give us new tickets for our next film. A great solution to the problem. Can't wait to return.
