I loved this place. Nice walk via boardwalk around preserve area. We went in evening and gopher tortoises were everywhere along road. Saw juvenile eagles flying and many birds. Being your binoculars, water. I will definitely return when in area.

Always ready for any type of walk, boardwalk, path. This was a short loop. Not much wildlife or birds on the boardwalk. If you had time to stay and watch for birds at the halfway point, might be able to see a few. Bring binoculars. There’s a very clean port-a-let. Don’t drive out of your way. It was on our way to Marco Island.

It is on the way from Naples to Marco island and not mentioned much by tour guides. We had almost missed it but we are glad we didn't! the scenery was exceptional all along the half-mile loop. You will not feel repetitive as the landscape changes from pineland hammock to marsh to mangroves, and finally to a beatiful, peaceful lake. Will recommend as an hour-long filler trip.

Very clean. Not the best season for spotting wildlife, but we had a great short walk, about half mile for the whole loop. There's about 3-4 benches and in the middle is a ramp to the overlook.

Wonderful opportunity to see native Florida. Boardwalk is maybe 30 min walk. Interesting. Has a raised viewing station. Talked to one of the wildlife officers who was friendly and full of local information. Really enjoyed. Free , no charge

We enjoyed the nice 1/2 mile nature walk on the boardwalk. There were good views, and some wildlife to see. The walkway is totally elevated, so you don't have to worry about getting wet. It's also handicap accessible.

Nice little trail over and near beautiful wetlands with lots of plants and animals. The boardwalk's in pretty good shape. We saw a gopher tortoise!

Short 3/4 of a mile board walk, but we did see an alligator while walking through! Cool place!

Cool place. Brought our kids (11,7,4). The boardwalk was great for the stroller. Very safe. We saw a 10ft alligator and a ton of cool birds.

I love this walkway, but I haven’t gone on it in a few years because it looks like it’s going to collapse. It’s a nice length, though, and I’ve heard that they are resurfacing it, but I don’t know if it’s been completed yet. It’s a shame, because it’s a quick little hike and great for people who are visiting. For all the fundraising that you guys are doing for various projects, you think that you direct some of the money toward this.
