A very beautiful and well-preserved castle. Inside there is a museum with many old, beautiful things. Entry costs €5 and is possible under 2G+. It's worth it for anyone interested in historical things. The outdoor area invites you to linger when the weather is good. Here and there there are benches where you can read a book and have the sound of water splashing in the background. You can also go for a wonderful walk around the castle.

A beautiful exhibition that tells about life in earlier times. The exhibits have been put together with love and are certainly exciting for adults and children. Adults pay 5 euros, children can visit the museum free of charge. The exhibition is not barrier-free!

Great ambience inside and out. I can't put so many pictures here. On several floors and basements you can see a lot of Schönebeck, Vegesack and more. History of whalers, the African explorer Gerd Rohlfs and and and... Porcelain from Grohn with awards and changing exhibitions. This castle is very diverse. There are also concerts and puppet shows for the little ones here. There is also an event house for celebrations a short distance away. ❤️🥰🥰

Schönebeck Castle is undoubtedly an enchanting oasis, which I enthusiastically rate with five shining stars. The beauty of this historic castle is simply breathtaking. Its majestic architecture, surrounded by a picturesque landscape, gives the place a very special charm. It is not only a place of history but also a place of peace and beauty. The extensive green areas and well-kept gardens invite you to take relaxing walks and enjoy the unique atmosphere. For me personally, Schönebeck Castle has a very special meaning, because it was exactly here that I made an unforgettable proposal to my wife. The romantic atmosphere that surrounds this magnificent property made the moment even more unforgettable. It is a place that will forever be enshrined in our hearts. The opportunity to walk in this historic setting while enjoying the beauty of nature is truly something special. The peace and serenity that this place exudes is a true blessing and offers an escape from the hectic pace of everyday life. Schönebeck Castle is more than just a historical landmark - it is a place of memories, romance and peace. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place that is not only beautiful to look at but also touches the soul. This castle has a very special place in my heart and I am grateful for the unforgettable experiences I was able to experience there.

In a small, beautiful castle in Bremen North, the old German life story is told - very worthwhile.

A wonderful castle to visit. €5 entrance. Three floors are open for your attention. Models of old ships, furnished rooms in medieval style, which convey the atmosphere of life at that time. I recommend

A lovely little castle with lots of nature around. Very suitable for short and long walks. I was there in the fall and it was very beautiful. I will definitely go for a walk there again soon.

Even if some people imagine a castle to be something larger. 😉 a beautiful building with impressive exhibits on Vegesack's local history. I would particularly like to highlight Gerhard-Rolf's study, the history of the Bremen volcano and the castle kitchen. Personally, I also find the outdoor area very worth seeing. Take a few steps and you are in the middle of nature. A very nice place.

As a photographer, I was recently able to accompany a bride and groom at their civil wedding at Schönebeck Castle. Super nice location for such a celebratory occasion. The shipping hall looks great as a wedding room and the outdoor area offers a beautiful backdrop. If anyone is looking for an alternative to the Vegesack Citizen Service Center, I can only recommend Schönebeck Castle.

A beautiful maritime museum is housed on the top floor. The collection is of high quality and was collected in the period before 1900. There are few maritime museums in Europe that match this quality. More than worth a visit!

The grounds are publicly accessible any time, and it's a beautiful area with water, foliage, trees, and small paths. Perfect for a short walk. I've never been inside the museum itself but I'd still go here again!

This museum-castle is surrounded by a beautiful forest, perfect for a short hike before entering. We visited in autumn so the scenery was magical. The museum is really interesting, it provides a glance into the daily life in the eighteenth century and the maritime tradition of Vegesack. The staff members are very kind and passionate about their history.

A great museum. Here one can find out the intriguing history of Bremen Nord, where from the names of local streets come, and so one. We are lucky to have such a place in our neighborhood.
