The atmosphere was dope, got a local beer and waited for a to-go order. The patio is spacious and there is space for kids to run and play, with some cornhole sets available! The pizza was really good, and my brother said the near death wings immediately burned his mouth “in a good way”! I’m not that brave but I enjoyed the soft pretzel! :)

For this unique little place nearby our Hotel. I would say it would he a top 5 place to eat if you are near by. VERY FUN and unique decor. Kids thought the Hugh eyeball looking at them was funny/scary. The night we stopped by they had live music. The have indoor or out door eating areas.

What a great first time experience we had here and will definitely be back. Dakota was our server however she had a great team that worked with her. Our appetizer (yummy cheese sticks with home made dipping sauce), our fantastic Big house pizza, the Marguerita's, the dessert was absolutely fantastic. We will return

Absolutely love Grinders. Had the special Burnt End Cheesesteak with extra meat and it was the bomb! Love the crinkle cut fries and the eclectic artsy vibe. Cool place, great food.

This place has some amazing food. Me and some buddies really enjoyed ourselves. The pretzel is so good.

Rustic atmosphere....a lot like an English pub. Pizza, burgers, wings, salad....all good. The pizza slices are gigantic. A good place to have lunch with friends or coworkers.

I travel for work so I have the opportunity to experience a lot of different restaurants. I love trying new places. I understand that today's environment poses staff shortage challenges so service delays and even friendly customer service is not the norm. However, my experience at Grinders literally blew me away. From the hostess to the bar staff to the wait staff, they were friendly, they were attentive and they made me feel welcome. The food and drinks were also amazing. They were quick to serve and collaboratively checked on me often. I will be back every time I'm in town.

Really mediocre pizza with no redeeming qualities. Probably in the 1st percentile of pizza that I’ve ever had. Ordered a supreme and it was burnt all over, with very few toppings and massive spots without cheese. A small fraction of it wasn’t burnt, and it was just as bad. Wait staff was nice, prices were reasonable, and the other food looked good though.

After being a Grinders fan for over 15 years I have had enough. The pizza crust in the beginning was a thin wonderful crust. Through the years it has changed, this time it was inedible. For close to $30 I expect world class product. On 11/1 I picked up a take out pizza. It was horrendous. The outside crust was so tough I had to cut it with a knife. The crust under the condiments was soggy. The toppings were inconsistent with past orders. I was very tempted to drive back and watch one of the cooks eat their monstrosity. iI was cheated out of my money and now have a bag of goo.

Love coming into this place, fun environment with a lot of good food options. In the photo I got a patty melt. It was cooked perfectly and had that cheese pull you look for. Go check this spot sometime they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! The wings are delicious as well but beware of the Death Nectar sauce, the hottest sauce I have had in my life.

This hurts writing this review because we’ve been going here for years and it was one of our top places to take friends and family but there has been a significant decline in quality. We ordered tots (the best thing we got), wings, a Philly, and single slices of pizza. 1/4 of the meat on the Philly was inedible. The slices of pizza were burnt, had hardly any cheese and sauce on them and just inedible. Our kids picked here and there and attempted to salvage what they could because they were hungry but just couldn’t even hardly eat it because it was so dry, burnt and crispy. We told the waitress when she came back to check and she talked to the manager. She said they could put the order in again but we were just trying to leave and had just seen another order of single slices come out the same way. The manager didn’t even come out to apologize. Our waitress apologized and of course we knew it wasn’t her fault, although she could have returned the food saying this isn’t acceptable now that I think of it. Like I said previously, we used to be frequent flyers when we lived over in that area and always recommended it. But I’m not sure we will be returning after this afternoon.

We sat outside and enjoyed an unusually nice July day in KS. My sister and I shared an appetizer and meal, which all hit the spot. We had a couple of drinks and initially thought they seemed weak and lacking on the alcohol....well, it wasn't as weak as we thought, just sneaky. Our waitresses were both friendly. Overall good experience.

One of our favorites! Great for sitting outside on a nice day or cozy on the inside when it’s not. Get the Philly cheese steak, fully loaded with cheese wiz and white American cheese! They also have a great beer selection…

Grinders Stonewall has an amazing atmosphere, service, and food. Their staff is fun and helpful. They even brought us a small taster of the Forbidden Death Nectar which kicked us in the butt. The food is incredible, the chili bomb on a pizza is unique and changes things up from any other pizza joint. I will be going back as many times as I can in the future.

Love the atmosphere. I had one of the specials, a patty melt, and it was delicious. Our server was a beer expert and he recommended two IPAs to us—we loved both of them! He was very attentive and personal. I don’t remember his name but he had some red in his hair, if that helps. He was awesome! I’d love to visit again.

Went for lunch. First time eating here. The pizza slice was one of the best I've ever tasted.

Awesome place to go. Only been once and that's cause I hadn't heard about it yet, but it is absolutely worth it. Super chill place with really good food. Service was top notch too. Enjoy🤙🏻

We went there Wednesday for an early dinner. We had never been and it was recommended by several friends. It was too windy to sit outside so we sat inside. Our first seats were next to the bar area and it was too loud. We moved to a back corner and it was great. Our server was good and our food came quickly. Our sandwiches were very good and portions were large. The fries were nothing special, like or ida baked in an oven. The beer was cold and we had a good time so we will be back. I really want to try their pizza.

Mediocre food at high end food prices. Today I got the HillyBilly Smash'd Burger. For a burger touting they're own original sauce, there was barely any sauce there. And then it has a strip and a half of bacon on it. The burger was not tender and juicy as I was hoping but instead just meh. The chips had "ZERO" salt on them and were mostly over cooked. I expected allot better with having an owner that is so high profile in the arts. Maybe he just has nothing to do with this place anymore?? The service was fantastic though, I'd give the service a 5 star on its own...but the food to value gets a thumbs down from me.

How have I not reviewed here yet? Been coming for years. Always hard to order because I've found so much food on the menu that is absolutely fantastic. Great rotating beer selection. Great menu for my kids. Consistently good service. The outside area is the best; usually our first place we think of when weather is nice enough to eat outside.

This is a great get away spot. The service was good and the BLT sandwich was great. Just a little spicy, just enough to make it good. The chips were much better than the normal side of chips. (I eat every one.) The portion sizes and prices are reasonable.

I try to come every time I'm in the area because the food and service has always been excellent. I was a bit disappointed in the food and service this time. Waitress forgot my beer, tots tasted like they were fried in old oil, the Philly was really just ok this time... you tasted more bread than anything

We love Grinders. Great place to take my family my five year old especially likes it here. Love it when there is live music. I can’t think of a better atmosphere around the area. I don’t know how to explain it right, but I always feel so welcome here. It kinda feels like a place I would have hung out at in my twenties yet somehow manages to be a great place to take your kids. Everything we have tried on the menu has ranged from very good to excellent.

So good huge appetizer and my rueben was solid. They also have a really good selection of beers can and on tap. Our service was always really fantastic

Tried one of the Death Nectar wings. It was the spiciest thing I have ever tried in my life. My mouth was a 5 alarm fire. My tongue was burning for at least 20 minutes. I would 10/10 recommended at least trying this once in your life. Just be careful. Have some milk, ranch, potatoes or something to help soothe the pain. Good luck

Kids pizza is massive 🤯 wings could have used some more garlic but they were nice and crispy. 5/5 would come back

Good pizza. Wings were good, but cold by the time I got home.

My family and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed our visit here. We're going through a rough time with loss and wanted to get a sense of normalcy. Our server was just delightful. Made us laugh for the first time in days. She was prompt and attentive despite it being so busy and us being a party of 10. Made excellent drink and food suggestions. I don't recall her name but she was a tall brunette girl with short curly hair out on the side patio the evening of 9/4/21 Thank you guys for the wonderful food and service!!! We'll definitely be back!

Love the Philly and the pizza here! And if you like hot sauce they've got Death Nectar which is the hottest stuff I have ever had anywhere.
