My husband and I stayed at the Letchworth site last night. When we checked in, we were given a room that had a shower - I am 6 months pregnant with hip issues and we asked for a bath. We were told we had to pay more for this but could not guarantee it. We got about 1 hour of sleep each. The noise from other rooms was ridiculous, the heating controls would not function and the bed was not up to standard. We addressed our concerns to the desk upon check out to be told we had to register. Felt very fobbed off. This is a shame as we have previously stayed at other sites and had a great experience

Have stayed here before, you now have to pay for parking! (Machines keep jamming) Plus car park strewn with litter! The outside of the hotel is in need of a basic clean as it’s quite grubby, the room was Clean but the showers are poorly designed as they flood the bathroom floor, Do not pay for the wi-fi as we couldn’t get It to connect, you can get 30 mins free. Just Returned from another stay and one of the Rooms smelt of dogs, plus there seemed to Be homeless people using the bar?

Basic and simple, what you expect from a Travellodge. Some of the guest were a bit questionable. Lots of noise from the car park at night as you are right next to a Lidl, Costa coffee and McDonald's.

On my arrival I needed help with the parking payment machine, (REALLY annoying and unnecessary, because this hotel actually has parking of it's own, so they're simply hugely profiteering by ripping paying customers off), but the receptionist made it obvious that she couldn't really be bothered to help me. I was actually made to feel stupid. The doors SLAM ridiculously loud! My kettle didn't work. The curtains are way too thin, and therefore my room couldn't be dark at any point, because of the street lighting immediately outside the window. I hope I never have the misfortune to stay here again.

Great hotel with friendly staff but the breakfast lets it down massively hense the dropped star. All the staff as mentioned were really friendly, genuinely looked happy in their roles which is great to see. Bed was comfy and the shower was amazing, I suffer from a bad back so it was the right power to ease that. The first two morning we tried the "unlimited breakfast", was very disappointing both days. Nothing wad topped up, you had to keep asking which made you feel bad for bothering them. When it did come out, there wasn't enough for everyone there which led to a longer wait. Third morning we went over to mcdonalds. Would happily stay here again but would not have the breakfast.

Excellent visit to the Travelodge in Letchworth! The staff there could not do more to help and were attentive to the needs of a wide range of guests. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit salad and tasty cooked breakfast. Eilish and Anca were particularly helpful - as were all staff. Thank you!

Stayed here with the family last weekend . Service was excellent, especially from Ellie, Sarah S, Charlotte, Elish, and Thoro, who dishes up a great selection of hot & cold breakfast. The rooms are spotless. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff definitely go above and beyond the call of duty at this establishment, and it was very much appreciated. Thank you for a great get awy😊😊😊

Clean, very friendly and good value for money but if anyone flushes the loo during sleep you hear about it. Also because it's on a commercial site you will be woken by Aldi deliveries next door which will last for hours. I can't recommend the "all you can eat breakfast either. Staff were great but the food was tasteless and poor quality.

At £175:16 (with dinner and breakfast) for the 1 night I would say they are ripping customers off. Afer a long day at work I arrived at the hotel unable to check in until I had paid for the parking which involved a temperamental machine and a drawn out process... All for 3 quid... When you pay for a room surey they would not expect you to walk Finally got into the room of which was very underwhelming to say the least... Hanging space, mirror, 2 uncomfortable chairs and a very small desk. There was a broken heater propped up against the wall but that's it (see pics unbelievable). Evening meal I didn't eat, menue limited and it really was processed and disgusting to say the least(reminded me of the old old little theifs (Chief). I poked my head in for breakfast had a juice and coffee and could not stomach what they were offering as a breakfast sorry. Thought I would give TravelLodge a try as I usually use Premier Inn Needless to say unless I was desperate I will not be using TravelLodge again

Super friendly and helpful staff. The room was in great condition , completely silent and I enjoyed 3 nights of good sleep. The car park is only a few quid a day and super to have a super market and Costa next door.

Hotel was ok to just sleep but I do not recommend their breakfast. One of the worst I've ever had. All food were dry, baked beans were lumpy. Mixing of tongs and no consideration for vegetarian. Basically I paid £9 just to have a croissant, half a bagel and cup of coffee ☕️

Excellent comfy room, would stay again. Staff was extremely helpful, as had a very elderly family member & helped when he dropped his key card & sorted it out straight away.

Really good hotel. I spent one night and a good breakfast in the morning. There are other features, such as a 24 hour bar and if you are really hungry then Macdonalds is open

Decent Travelodge and I've been to a few. You often know what you're going to get with chain hotels, but this one surpassed my expectations. Staff were very helpful and rooms very clean and comfortable! Highly recommend for anyone staying in the area.

Ideal location, clean rooms and great service. 👍 I just wanted to thank Thoro especially who was working the cafe when we were having breakfast on Sunday morning. She was a wonderful host and was fantastic with the kids.

It was lovely. The staff behind the desk on the 27 and 28 wer very polite and so helpful. It was 2 girls. Very kind and really made you feel like part of a family instead of just a customer. The house keepers I met wer just as polite and kind on thevmorning of the 28th july and all staff on my visit every one was so polite amd answered my questions and let me know of things I never knew. The room was lovely and tidy very comfy bed. I was ment to stay from the 27th July to the 29th but due to some home problems I had to leave at 10pm on the 28th. Still the one night stay was amazing. This is my travelodge I will now use when I come up to visit my family. Thank you all. 💙❤️🥰

Great basic hotel. Nothing fancy but clean, comfortable rooms, good buffet style 'all you can eat' breakfast, & friendly staff.

£3 per night car park. Get woken up at 2am by aldi wagon unloading. Also bright car park flood lights made this a bad night's sleep.

The staff were very nice and the most kind & helpful. Early check-in is the most convenient thing. The room was clean with a very nice view but there were noticeable dusts and uncleanness inside of the chairs and the toilet. I quite noticed these same things at other Travelodges too.

Paid for late checkout (2pm) but had the maids come in twice! Once at 12pm but didn't apologise for the intrusion and again (someone different) at 1:30pm. Bathroom door would get jammed so didn't dare close it. Room was basic and clean. Location is good for business purposes, has quick access to local fast food restaurants and supermarket but not a scenic location.

I stayed here for my daughter's wedding with my husband and family. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble for them, made us feel very welcome. The rooms were very clean indeed, lovely soft towels, the bed was nice and comfy. Our breakfast was tasty, with plenty of choices of food and drinks. Lovely and clean in the dining room. The staff work extremely hard, but always maintain a proffesional attitude and very pleasant.

Good clean travelodge, but have introduced parking charge only £3.00 for 24 hrs which can add up if more than 1 night.

Unfortunately no pictures from our stay but the hotel is immaculate shape. Our room was perfectly clean when we arrived for our nights stay. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly on arrival and then throughout the stay. We are in the restaurant for dinner and had lovely meals. All reasonable priced and very filling :)

I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights. The staff are wonderful. Checking in was simple. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable. With a window that opens, it is a very rare commodity nowadays. The food in the restaurant was delicious and delivered in a timely manner, and very warming. The £8.95 deal for a pizza/burger and drink is a breath of fresh air in such economic uncertainty. There are 2 irritating parts to this hotel, as small as they are... Firstly, you have to pay for parking. Roughly £12 for the week, but you need to pay online or by machine outside, then you have to confirm it with Travelodge once it's paid. Secondly, Wifi isn't free. Unless you can sort out your work within 30 minutes, you'll be paying £3 per day for the privilege. Luckily, there's a McDonald's over the way with free WiFi. Even with the small issues, I would 100% stay again.
