I have to give this a 1 purely for the Chopstix Noodle Bar (other areas are not a problem) Visited here on Thursday 16/02/2023 to hand the grandchildren back over to their parents (halfway meeting point) was 12.15 and stopped for lunch. My granddaughter has a disability & wanted noodles, whilst looking at what she could have the staff member (see pic) was standing there stoney faced, my granddaughter pointed to items she wanted & her finger tip touched the glass, the staff member shouted in a stern voice for us to not touch the glass, (fair enough I thought if it was hot) but it wasn’t, so I asked her why we couldn't touch it, her short sharp reply was because it's a pain to clean 😳 Really!!!! It was a fingertip not grubby hands sliding across it, so we said fine we will eat somewhere else, her reply was a matter of fact OK, what a very rude & horrible staff member to be working with the public, she lacks people skills & needs training. I hope the manager of this eatery takes this matter seriously, I for one will not frequent here unless I really have to.

Great services. Clean toilets which have recently been renovated. Had fish and chips then strolled over to Greggs for some coffees! Comfy seating as well. All the choices AND...was travelling on Mother's Day but it wasn't too busy!

Saturday 27th August - 14:45 Automatic doors on street level so should be okay for persons with mobility issues. Inside there is a Chopstix Noodle bar, KFC, Greggs, El Mexicana, McDonalds, WH Smiths, M&S Simply Food, Starbucks and my favourite a Deep Blue Fish & Chips. My only gripe is nobody’s is wiping down the tables. I had to wipe down the table we sat at and for the past 20mins three staff have been standing huddled together and not one table has been wiped down after people have left.

First class services lots on offer good parking Snap. Concreted parking well signed. Facilities are first class staff are warm and friendly covid aware

We like going to Baldock Services as it has several outlets which people like when travelling. One outlet KFC is our favourite. We enjoy our meal and then travel home. There are seating areas and the usual facilities for everyone's needs. It is kept clean and tidy with the service station personnel. Parking is good with a fuel station.there are charging points for EVs.and parking for trucks, Caravans and other long vehicles.

Good selection of fast food plus a mobile phone shop which was a bonus! Toilets very clean and plentiful. Plus plenty of parking and just to mention a hotel if you have to stay overnight can't recommend more highly.

A typical motorway services. It's clean and warm. Due to the time I was visiting most of it was closed but was glad of a decent coffee. Facilities include all the usual food outlets, toilets, showers and a multi faith room.

This is a really lovely hotel. Arrived late, and the receptionist made some cheese and ham toasties what welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good too. Pity there is no actual restaurant, but there are lots of good local ones within easy walking distance. Parking is a bit of an issue, but the hotel price is unbelievably low. would certainly stay again and recommend to others.

OK for a quick meal, quite a few options depending on time of visit. Large seating area and kept reasonably clean. It's usually a busy place so yoymay have to wait for food.

Travelling distances with an electric car requires good charging. We used the Ionity chargers and they were way faster than we expected! And in that time we enjoyed a great cup of coffee. As this area has nit that many charging options also when staying with family over here

3 hours free parking and pretty much any fast food/sandwiches you'd want. Great place to stop on a long trip. Usually Service station prices but quick and easy.

A good range of shops including M&S, WH Smith, Starbucks and plenty of fast food options. Quite a lot of seating including outdoors.

Stopped for breakfast 🥞🍳 on our way to truckfest Peterborough yesterday was a tad busy here yesterday but it is bank holiday weekend after all lovely and clean 🫧 one of our favourite 🚏 stops

Stopped off for a Mcdonalds on way home from holiday. Very disappointing. Chips soggy and lukewarm as were the burgers..on a time limit so no time to take back to be rectified. Chicken nuggets only satisfactory item.

It's a service station, so don't expect too much. That said, the place is clean, the toilets are maintained, and they have a range of shops and takeaways to suit most tastes. Prices are high of course and you may queue at KFC or McDonalds, especially now the food deliveries are popular. KFC is particularly bad here, but most others are okay.

A nice place to stop for a break in driving and a bite to eat. Various menus to suit all tastes. If you're towing a caravan, park in the lorry bays as the one for caravans are a bit snug, especially if you have a twin axle.

Nice stopover for some meals and drinks with a comfy lounge. The toilets are also well thought out for ladies, men, babies and wheel chaired.

These services were clean and the toilets were acceptable. But I must say that I was disgusted that I stood at the counter at KFC for 10 minutes waiting to be served and in the end I gave up and went to the chippy instead, their service was brilliant with great tasting chips. It was also easy to find a clean table to eat on.

What a dirty place. We stopped off here on the way home from Luton Airport. We had an early flight and missed breakfast and were starving. Stopped off here before but this time it was not a good experience. The KFC was terrible, only 3 staff on and a 20 minute wait for food to arrive. The tables were disgusting, no one was clearing or cleaning them. The floor was covered in food. I will definitely be giving this place a miss next time I am in the area.

Every time we head south, we usually stop here. On our trip to Shoreham-by-Sea last week, we stopped by again. Before continuing on our excursion, we had a quick bite. Good meal choices are available. We never have to wait very long for our orders, and the toilets are always kept clean.

A very busy Sunday at the Extra Service area, on one of the hottest days of the summer so far. There was more than adequate parking, with most EV spaces taken outside of the main entrance but none of the IONITY CCS chargers were in use outside of the Days Inn Hotel. Maybe EV drivers just aren’t seeing them!! The Food Hall was not at all crowded, with more than ample seating, and actually very clean and tidy, which was lovely too see. The member of staff servicing the seating area was working extremely well, and making a great job of clearing tables, wiping down and sweeping, and keeping up with the demand for the facilities. Queues were virtually non existent, with the various food providers keeping on top of demand. The outside area was also well maintained, with waste bins empty and the area generally rubbish free, and with a steady churn of customers, a nice outside place to sit and eat. Overall, an excellent experience, and certainly a service area that is looked after, and worth stopping at to relax on your journey. Well done Extra 👏👏👍👍

Good place with so many restaurants and options to choose from. One area for improvement is definitely the toilets that were far from being clean. Would be great if for hygiene reasons if regular cleaning is done on frequently. Sane around the common dinning area too.

Lots of seats available. Not too busy. Good food and shop choices, toilets rather clean. There's even a prayer room (between toilets).

Love Baldock Services , you have a Shell Petrol Station and a hotel, if you need to stay over night. Baldock Services has toilet facilities along with a food court and an M&S for a quick shop . There's a vendor there selling mobile phone accessories and if you don't need food or a toilet they have a games facility to unwind with.
