I
didn't
stay
at
the
hotel,
I
came
in
for
coffee
after
phoning
to
establish
whether
they
did
serve
coffee
to
non-
residents
and
failing
to
have
the
call
answered.
There
was
no-one
on
reception
when
we
arrived
and
no
means
of
letting
them
know
we
were
there.
We
stood
around
for
a
while
&
eventually
a
member
of
staff
appeared.
We
asked
if
she
could
serve
us
coffee
and
perhaps
a
croissant
or
something
to
go
with
it.
She
said
yes
to
the
coffee
but
no
to
anything
else,
so
we
ordered
coffee,
paid
for
it
and
sat
down.
When
it
arrived,
it
was
lukewarm.
I
thought
it
might
be
the
machine
but
found
it
so
unpleasant
I
decided
to
take
it
back
&
ask
for
another,
which
the
member
of
staff
supplied
without
complaint
-
although
she
clearly
thought
the
temperature
was
fine
-
and
that
was
lukewarm
too.
