I work away all the time, this is by far the worst Hotel I've stayed in.. damp unclean bedding, towels are yellow, first 2nights the shower was scolding with no control of temperature, rest of the stay was freezing cold showers, after asking for them numerous times no action was taken, having to go to local leisure centre for a shower, this is a failing hotel down to how its ran from the owner.. would advise anyone not to book here. After checking out threatening me he had my bank details and is in his right to take funds.. scary thought.

DISGUSTING Planned a business trip for 3 nights.. The Day before I was booking in.. I got an e mail - room cancelled , Absolutely disgusted as they did not bother to book me somewhere else or compensate so panicked but was lucky to find alternative room Keep away As if it was not for booking.com I would have to cancel 3 Days of work at less than 1 days notice which would have cost thousands to reshedule

Had a small family mendhi party at the venue. The ambience reminded me of a village atmosphere I highly recommend people to use this place for weddings and mendhi. The venue is newly refurbished under new management.

Very elegant, professional outstanding venue with excellent quality and valued service provided. Cater to your every need with sensational decor and planning done. Food, deco , management deserve a pat on there back for following such details to your expectations. I would 100% recommend if you looking for a small intimate doo to a big doo they will have exactly what your looking for.

Amazing venue with 10/10 service. I had my wedding at old Tudor and they catered to every need to ensure I had my dream wedding. The outdoor area is absolutely stunning perfect for summer event. I would 100% recommend old Tudor hall for ALL event types.

The venue is beautiful and the decor is really pretty. It's a pity about the staff they employ who have despicable manners and attitudes. Knocking into people, not apologising, taking plates away whilst you're still eating, cold food etc.. Further to your reply Ismail, the comment was not aimed at the venue only your staff! All of our guests complained about your staffs rudeness and abruptness at lifting away food and plates whilst people were still eating. We booked for 450, you set up for 410, so how did you expect everyone to sit and eat together? The reason some guests arrived late was because of the weather and flooding on the way to the venue and some of the guests actually had to reset the tables and go into the kitchen to serve the food to the remaining guests. The bride and groom didn't even get any food, which was despicable, hence the change in my review.

Owners left me with a bad feeling. I viewed Tudor Hall for my wedding recently. The venue itself is beautiful and offers something different. Such a shame because the owners (there were two) seem really dishonest. They seem to promise the world. They pushed us to use their in house catering. The cater/head chef was on-sight and said there would be limitless refills of food items, which is absolutely rubbish. Just said anything for the sale. A few other things happened that made not trust the owners, like saying the venue holds up to 400 people in winter, which is impossible. I didn't want to take the risk of the owners ruining my day with their deceitful behaviour. I would AVOID! Such a shame because with the right and correct management, this would be a brilliant venue.

Beautiful venue and incredible space, had my wedding here nearly a year ago and still get compliments to this date. A very unique venue for your guests to enjoy and explore compared to other traditional halls we had visited when looking for a venue. Highly recommend for all weddings and normal events!

This is such a great place to stay in, had an amazing night and the food was delicious. They were closed down for 3 years and now they're back and under new management. Highly recommended.

Was cold and rain soaked on arrival, check in was very quick and the radiator and towel rail was hot in the room so I could dry my clothes. The room had what was needed, it was pretty clean and everything worked.

If I could give no stars I would. I am not a fussy person and have never had to leave a hotel without staying the night but that's what I had to do last night. Absolutely freezing, bedding felt damp it was so cold. No tea and coffee even after asking, no TV aerial so no tv. Radiator in bathroom broken. Missed the event that was held there as couldn't of slept the night there. Very noisy room. Stayed 45 minutes then left. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Edit: I definitely did not stay the night so don't make me out to be a liar, my husband stayed, I didn't so you couldn't have seen me check out.

Disappointed. Food was average and some of our meals were cold. Manager was not very professional and although he refunded one of our eleven meals we still feel this to be insufficient. Personally I think there are far better places to eat locally with a much better atmosphere.

Booked this place for nephews wedding, absolutely beautiful venue and environment both outdoor and indoor facilities. Very well priced, in-house decorations were beautiful, the food was delicious. The have an amazing wedding ceremony area outside (with retractable roof) and surroundings are perfect for weeding in the country. The staff and management were absolutely brilliant, especially Dulal. They are very conveniently located just off the A1 near Hitchin. Highly recommend this place for a wedding or any other party.

Unique, beautiful venue. The style and history of this building adds character, and something different for events. I luckily met the owner, who was extremely helpful and great to talk. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to hold their wedding events there

My cousin’s sister wedding reception was held here and their segregated prayer rooms and facilities was on point. The whole day was brilliant. Their in-house decoration and food was delicious and what my cousin wanted. I will be recommending this venue to friends and family.

Good location and I was very surprised that I could not hear any road noise from the A1. Food and beer good but the menu is limited. With the hotel only recently opened there are still one or two items missing from the room which I am sure will appear over next few weeks. The owner is very helpful and out to build a good reputation for his business.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lodge and I cannot say enough good things about it. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view. Overall, I had a fantastic stay, even extended for additional night and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Home away from home. Very calm place. If you want a place to clear your head or cool off without any disturbances, then this is the right place. If you want to meditate, this is the right place. Make sure you come with your car, because it's not easy moving around. I enjoyed my stay.

I absolutely recommend this place if you really want a peaceful, relaxed tike with a top-notch customer service. The rooms are newly refurbished and imporved to a modern taste. The staff are very nice and helpful. Kudos to Saheed. This is my regular home away from home. What a breathe of fresh air! Paul.
