Very nice hotel: breakfast staff was very friendly, room was decorated lovely and well kept, lobby looked good and cosy. Location is also good, close to the Japanese neighborhood (with many restaurants). Breakfast was good, quite a selection of fresh fruits, colt cuts, other breakfast items, bread and you could get fried or scrambled eggs. We had to leave 1 night early as we were feeling ill, we got a 20% discount on the night, which was nice. Only thing we were disappointed in was the service of the older gentleman at the reception. Upon checkin already a bit arrogant and upon checkout even worse, when we mentioned we had to leave early, he sighed and rolled with his eyes and did so every time the phone rang (3 times while we were standing there). We did not understand the invoice with the discount, so we were just trying to figure that out and he did offer to explain again and he did explain it, but in a bit of a condescending manner. He was obviously not having a good day. He also told the 2 room attendants in a quite rude way that they now need to clean our room. We work in the hospitality industry, so this was just very awkward to see.

Stayed here for 1 night last weekend. Check in was quite straight forward. The parking is €12.50 a day. The hotel is divided into 2 hotels. We stayed in the "Lady Astor". We had a lovely room. The bathroom was a little bit on the small side, but it was okay. I really had a good night's sleep! Breakfast in the morning was really good. Scrambled and fried eggs are made to order, which were really scrumptious. On the breakfast buffet you have everything a good buffet has to offer. All of the staff(including the domestic!) are really nice, efficient and always have a smile on their face. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Königsallee and about 15 minutes to the Altstadt. Or you can take the tram, it's only 2 stops into town. I recommend this hotel, we definitely will be back!!!

Great location, I stayed for a night, top floor room, Lady side part of the hotel. Quiet and clean, comfortable bed. Friendly professional staff and delicious breakfast looking over the cute garden. I can only recommend it. 👍🛎️🛏️

The bed was comfortable, in a rather small but extremely clean room. Even though the hotel is listed as not allowing children, they did check in a couple with two kids above us and it was horrible. The ceilings are NOT soundproof. We had no sleep from that moment on. In addition, the hotel would not hold our luggage for a few hours upon checkout; the hotel was closing for Christmas, but nobody had announced this in advance, leaving us high and dry at checkout. The manager is extremely unpleasant (very friendly to German speaking people but not to English speakers, nor due to a language barrier but due to his attitude, and he did not realize I actually do speak and understand German...) He has a weird obsession with guests leaving the key at reception and is extremely and weirdly pushy and passive-aggressive about it. A very unpleasant man who took away from our experience. In the end, it is clean, but I would not recommend when they do not hold to their no-children policy and when you have to deal with the unpleasant manager (if you ate not German?)

The hotel consists of 2 buildings opposite each other. The reception, breakfast area and some rooms are at Sir Astor, our room was on the other side of the street at Lady Astor. Our room was on the grouns floor and looked very nice, chique and clean. The bed was very comfy and there was a small piece of apple cake waiting for us. I would recommend to place the mirrors a bit lower, as for me they were so high that I could just see my face, but not even my neck. Especially the make up mirror in the room was not usable for me at all. Besides that a kettle for a cup of tea would also had been nice to have in the room and would fit the concept of the hotel. The breakfast buffet had many options and the evening before you should let them know at what time you would like to have it as the breakfast area is quite small. Many fruits, veggies, different types of breads, meat, cheeses, yoghurt and waffles.

Rooms spacious, agradable and especially all SUPER CLEAN! All people working there super kind and nice! Really appreciated location.if i can give a note,it would only be on the egg smell on cutlery, plates and dishes but maybe they had a problem with the dishwasher.. and the very little instructions over timings, wifi and other "technical" details, neither a explication paper in the room..

Nice hotel, very clean, friendly staff. Funny rooms, all in different theme/colour. Good breakfast. There are two hotels (sir and lady) at opposite side of road. I would recommend it. Parkinglot is two doors away. It offers small parking spaces and you have to pay for parking.

Very Nice and clean rooms! Lange breakfast buffet with fresh products. 20 min walk from the Altstadt.

The room was nice, but we didn’t had warm water for shower. We spoke the receptionist and he didn’t believe us and said it was not possible. I find that very rude, why would I lie about not having warm water for shower?

We loved our stay. The hotel was charming and well cared for. We had the 'Safari' room. It was interesting and comfortable. Nothing about the room felt cheap and every detail was cared for. The bed was probably the most amazing part. I usually have trouble sleeping in hotels, but the mattress and pillows were perfect. I wish my bed at home was as comfy. Although, my husband, who loves firm mattresses and doesn't mind sleeping on the floor, found them too soft. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have their breakfast, but the welcome goody in our room was delicious enough we regretted it. We would definitely stay again and hope to do so soon.

Roughly 1 mile walk to get to old Town. Rooms were comfortable and super clean. Staff was friendly and breakfast was a bonus.

Superb rooms, great breakfast and caring service. Highly recommend this hotel! Great location, few minutes walk to railway station and the shopping area and the old town beside the Rhine where you can get a scenic cruise and plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would return again.

Really loved staying at this hotel for a best friend's wedding. The room we had was beautifully decorated, the shower is a little small but really refreshing, the bed was super comfy and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is served across the road in the Sir Astor hotel, which is also beautifully decorated. The hotel was a little tough to find, and there isn't any hotel parking, but the parking garage round the corner was both cheap and easy to get to, so that wasn't an issue. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely recommend it to other people coming to stay in Düsseldorf for a long weekend.

Been here for New Year's eve. Very good location, walking distance to everywhere in the centre (if you are ready to walk 15-25 minutes). Amazing breakfast, really made our stay! The business room was very comfortable and pretty, with a great bed and shower!!! Definitely recommend this place! Very friendly staff too.

It's really nice. Great people. Very convenient, close to Central Station and not far from the center. Rooms of appropriate size, not big but cozy. A lot of details (plate of fruit at night, for example). Staff really helpful. All in all a nice place to stay when in Düsseldorf

Beautiful and especially clean room! Very friendly, staff. The only small thing is the walls are very thin. So you can hear a lot. But this didn't keep us awake! Good price. When we're in Düsseldorf, we will definitely go back!
