I have never visited the café personally. It was my fiancé’s birthday and I wanted to surprise him with a cake/cupcake. (I am in India and he is working in Düsseldorf). I was looking for options and that’s when I came across their website. I mailed them in the morning about it and they delivered a very cute cup cake to him on my last minute request within a few hours. It was very sweet of them. Sugarbird Cupcakes Café has my heart. Looking forward to visit them soon.

We had visited this evening. Ordered almost all the varieties of their collection. Cupcakes 5/5 Service 5/5 Coffee 4/5 Other not sweet items 3/5 (not their speciality) Price less than Starbucks. If you go there, stay with their sweet items, you won't be disappointed.

I went there to find some cupcakes with carrot cake. They were delicious ! The frosting was not too heavy and the cake was moist (not dry at all). When I asked them If I could order some more, because I had eaten the last one, they made sure to call the bakery, although their deliveries were already scheduled and made sure I had my cuppies for the next day ! All of the Chez Amis staff members were super friendly, smiling and looking to give me the best service and time 🙌🏼 I can recommend !! 5 *

Very friendly staff always smiling and helpful, and it is located in a somehow hidden place, then you possibly would meet locals only. They offer a variety of cupcakes which are so delicious and tasty. I would recommend you to make your date here, sweets have a great impact for a first date 😉 Besides their amazing cupcakes rhey offer a variety of hot drinks. I recommend this place at least once, it deserve to be tried.

What an extremely divine place!! For people with a sweet tooth, this is indeed a gem 😇 The staff is very polite and friendly. We recently hosted a baby shower for more than ~25 people and it went hassle free. The cupcakes are to die for (I even took some home) and the coffee complements them really well. I can definitely recommend to go to this place!!!

Went to the Henrich-Heine-Allee branch last week with my girlfriend and we both loved it! Great service, and a nice place to get some "kuchen" and coffee/tea.

Pro : what a proper cupcake I ordered frozen latte (description was : latte macchiato with eiswürfel , which sounds like normal ice latte) What i got was milk blended with ice... and which contain no espresso shot but little bit of coffee flavored liquid from their fridge Absolutely, no flavor of coffee or espresso. Same as drinking milk + the service is really slow. Really good cupcakes tho

Super friendly and tasty

While visiting a friend in Dusseldorf in May 2013, we enjoyed a rainy afternoon at the Heinrich-Heine-Allee location. I especially enjoyed the tiramisu cupcake, but some of the other reviewers are right; the cupcakes are the owner's version of a cupcake: a bit denser than what you might expect. That being said, the flour is different in Europe, so it would be difficult to imagine her being able to make traditional cupcakes. The coffee is good, but if you're hungry, a cupcake and a cup of coffee will not sate you; we ended up buying 2nd cupcakes for each of us, and with the prices being rather high, we spent quite a lot of money. I didn't notice rudeness here, but then I didn't expect American service, so I wasn't bothered. This is definitely a fun place to stop if you are traveling in the area, but if I lived there, I probably wouldn't make it a regular part of my life. (If I could give it 3.5 stars, I probably would.)
