🫤 This gym is very dirty. Considering the ongoing pandemic, I would expect them to clean the holds and hall more often. But even without COVID-19 I wish they would take care of the facilities more thoroughly. Also, a lot of problems are made for tall people. People often mention routes, bouldering,

I have climbing in this gym for almost a year and I think it is a great climbing hall! The routes are interesting and changed very frequently. The holds and volumes are definitely the cleanest I saw/used compared to other gyms i tried (not only in germany, but also USA, china and other countries in Europe). I also loved the feeling of space this gym has. Would recommend and definitely come again when in Aachen.

This is probably the best bouldering gym in Aachen. It's decent size and the problems are nice. The problems are not graded, but they are color-coded. The facilities for warming up and stretching are quite limited. Speaking about warming up, the hall could use some heating.

You will find variaty of routes, friendly stuff and strong climbers to learn from. There is also a calisthenics and yoga area which you can do your warm up, cool down or general exercises. Plus good amount of finger boards and big campus wall. Only thing to improve would be the big brushes. They are melted need to be renewed 😅

Really nice boulderhall. They have a little bit of everything (slabs, vertical, overhangs, massive overhangs, comp) and a training area (incl campus boards and a moon board). Their bar is cozy and has good German beers.

Went here with my bf and his friend. So many ppl there. I didn't do climbing just watching and sometimes play the stability rope. Saw some cute toddlers so it was fun for me.

Very fun place and a good place even for beginners to try bouldering. They have a color-based ranking system that advances with your skill. The entrance to the place is slightly shady and I had a hard time finding it, especially at night. Once you're at the ASEAG bus stop, you would see a single door around a fenced enclosure. Open that, go in and then keep following the path till you get to the building. Once there, there is another shady door, kind of a heavy looking door that you can open to get inside. One time fee is 10€ and 13.5€ including the shoes that you'd need for bouldering.

The best bouldering gym I've ever seen. Great variety of climbing routes that are changed regularly.

prices are a bit high compared to other sports offers but the equipments are well maintained and they provide different shoe types depending on your feet shape for an extra €3

A lot of space, many different paths from different levels to try, very nice reception. Price not fear from the usual for bouldering. Haven't tried the bar though, yes there's a bar.

I used to come here a lot and I found it one of the most accessible bouldering halls. The increase in difficulty was very gradual and intuitive, making it a good hall for beginners, intermediates and advanced climbers alike. Unfortunately, it seems they have changed the difficulty scaling of their routes. Green and yellow remain overly simple, and then the blue ones are almost all advanced routes. The consequence of this is that beginner and intermediate climbers are stuck on 'boring' routes that do not challenge them, because the blue routes are and remain out of reach. There are no nice intermediate routes anymore that are challenging but doable, pushing the beginner climber to intermediate and beyond. As it has been like this for a few weeks now I am likely going to switch to another hall. I found myself incapable of finishing anything other than green and yellow routes and I am just not enjoying myself anymore.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and interesting routes; overall the place has a lot of potential. However, the color scheme was totally off, and the boulders were very dirty/dusty, making it very slippery and quite annoying and dangerous.
