Nice place. Excellent views of the surrounding area (hilltop). Plenty of parking. The sign for the place is a bit small, but GPS will get you there ok.

Just had the worst Ribeye of my life and this is no joke. For a steakhouse to have such poor quality steaks for 34 dollars, it was literally like eating leather. Couldn't even finish it. Ambience was good and the waiter we had was great but man look at the marbling ppl this steak had none probably closer to a chuck steak. Update: 6/10/23 Now had prawns on menu and brought me Shrimp and said "well they are big". Mac and cheese tasted like mush. Place just lacks real flavor and cooking. Disappointment after spending quite a bit for my wife and I.

Great staff, friendly, fast, attentive and most important perfectly cooked steaks! (Dunno the cooks name but you do better than most) That is very hard to find and I travel all over the country. Definitely coming back here every time I visit Lewiston! Special thanks to Garrett, Salvia and Kimmy, you guys rock!

The food was pretty good. Service was mediocre, at best. It’s 105 degrees today, and there’s no A/C running. Or even fans. Add to that, we were set about 10 feet from an indoor fire pit. And right beside a couple of huge ovens. The soda was totally flat, and I was still charged for it. Although I returned it and just drank water. We’ll not be going back.

Our party of 4 was completely satisfied. The ribeyes were cooked perfect and melted in our mouths. The building is just beautiful and the views stunning. Prices were reasonable too. Keep up the good work Ernie!

This is a beautiful venue! Gorgeous view of the entire valley. Elevated location, just spectacular vistas. I watched the sun set on the outdoor patio and it was AMAZING. Service was great, prompt, not too overbearing but conscious of what you needed. I only wish the food was as spectacular as the setting. Presentation was great. It looked good on the plate, but left a lot to be desired. The beef was actually really good. The place is owned by a local cattle producer and the prime rib was excellent. However, the sides were tasteless. I am not even sure the steak fries were made from potatoes, lol. The loaf of bread that accompanied the dinner was HUGE but again, flavorless. They provide butter and flavored butter (raspberry I believe) but even the flavored butters' origin was lacking in taste (I had to ask my server). Super nice seeing and I will probably go back again just to see if the chef was having an off day OR .....

Previously had really BAD experience but now under new ownership and things appear to be better. Ordered several happy hour entrees to get a taste of several things was excited when they weren't horrible! The breaded zucchini spears was delicious, crisp and juicy. The BBQ chicken Flatbread... couldn't really taste the BBQ sauce and it should be renamed to texmex Flatbread BUT it was TASTY! The loaded steakhouse Joe's were AMAZING! Prime rib slider was good, a little dry but flavorful. Prime rib taco was... interesting, the meat was dry but the coleslaw was a wonderful balance. The prime rib soup needs no coaching to get! it was so wonderful that I almost feel like I'm sorry changing the experience. The BBQ whiskey burger was a definite get again! The homemade bread was "to die for" a slight miss on the raspberry butter. The red velvet enticed a mouth orgasm a definite must work the cabrenet! Overall was really happy, previous experience deterred me from the steak and I thought if they screw up a burger well... no more chances. Maybe I'll be brave enough to revisit and order a steak. Happy eating at Ernies!

I was advised before arriving that they are notoriously known for over cooking their steaks, we order 3 for the table, medium rare, all came out above medium +.. Incredible views and service was great. Just need better consistency on these above average cuts of steak.

We always have good service. They have good drinks, and I tried the Bloody Mary. They made it past their normal 6pm time for me. Always a great view from the bar. .

Great dinner for the price. Slightly uneven on the cooking. Took a little longer than typical restaurant to get dinner served. I’d certainly eat here again and don’t have a problem recommending.

Loved the food. We couldn't decide so we got a bunch of different appetizers. The zucchini wedges were humongous and delicious. The nachos were big as well with lots of toppings. Definitely would go back again and would recommend the food. Our server was great his name was Michael!

As usual, Ernie's did not disappoint. Bite size steak and shrimp were excellent. The view and atmosphere was relaxing. Will definitely be back!!

Had a good meal, was on the bar side with a really nice view. That outdoor air wall was outstanding. It didn’t even feel hot even though we were outside in late June. Very nice!

Service and food were awesome. I requested a drink they make very seldom and the bartender/waitress Googled it and is was the best Sangria I have ever had in the valley.

We had reservations for 6pm but did not get our entree until 7:30. The server was great but the salad was dry and salty, the Salmon was hard as a brick and when sent back it came out raw and shiny in the middle. It was a real disappointment at $50.00 a person you would expect better. The medium rare was raw and cold in the middle, the medium was cooked all the way...no pink at all. They said they were short handed...but even what they did do was way off the mark. Good luck....

Loved the food and the excellent service. I wouldn't hesitate to do this again. It was a great place to have our 26th anniversary dinner. The waiter did a perfect job of being there when needed without interrupting too much.

Absolutely fantastic experience last night! We did our wedding reception here and I can not say enough good about both the staff and the food! Drinks were made extremely well. Servers were on top of it all night. Food was fantastic! The surf and turf prime rib and shrimp was great! Overall would highly recommend for normal dining or an event.

Great food, amazing views, excellent service. They also have a selection of local wines on the menu. I was especially happy with the prime rib - the seasoning was outstanding! We arrived around 2pm on a weekday, so can't say what it's like when they are busy. The one issue we ran into had nothing to do with the restaurant: we took a Lyft over to Ernie's from our hotel in Clarkston, but had trouble getting one to take us back. We were told later that ride services can take passengers from Washington to Idaho, but not the other way! We found another way back.

—-Sat in Bar——UpScale Place w/ Amazing Food with the best views in Lewiston. Staff are Great, the Ribeye was perfect, my old fashioned was made w/ bullet and perfect, NFL was on the TVs.

If you're in the Lewiston, ID area, you have to stop By Ernie's Steakhouse. Get the ribeye. I promise you won't be disappointed. Oh and the raspberry butter spread for the loaf of bread they give you. It sounds gross in theory mixing butter and raspberries to spread on bread, but I promise give it a try and you'll see it is pretty amazing.

Great service, food was quality. We didn't get the view, as we sat with our back to the window, in the seats nearest the bar. Steak was not the BEST EVER, but it was better than most.

One star deducted because of very long waiting times both, outside and inside, even though the restaurant was only sparsely occupied at a Monday night. Apparently Ernie has a massive staff shortage. Anyway, the remained staff does a good job. The food itself ranges from "alright" to "excellent" (specifically the prime rib).

Great atmosphere and service. Interesting appetizers to go along with a wide variety of steaks and platters.

We were there on a Tuesday. I tried calling the manager first, but no return call, they couldn't be bothered. Our party was there for 3 hours for dinner, very slow service, extremely slow food turn out, charge you for "doubles" when they definitely weren't, slapped us with an auto gratuity of 20% + 3.5% on top of everything to use my debit card. Five star dining prices without the service & quality of food. I've never had it take 3 hours to have dinner in my life! Ridiculous!
