This
salon
does
a
good
job
at
braiding;
however,
I
gave
1
star
because
my
edges
were
bald
in
less
than
a
week
after
my
recent
visit.
A
bit
of
background,
I
have
thick
course
hair.
I’ve
been
natural
for
10
years
and
I’ve
worn
box
braids
my
whole
life.
I
come
from
a
family
of
beauticians
who
braid
and
I
also
braid.
I’ve
gone
to
this
shop
because
it’s
convenient
and
the
ladies
that
have
braided
my
hair
previously
did
a
great
job.
During
my
most
recent
visit,
my
edges
were
braided
so
tight
that
My
hair
follicles
we’re
pulled
out.
I
am
now
bald
in
several
places
around
my
edges.
I
contacted
the
owner,
who
braided
my
edges,
and
she
offered
to
rebrand
cornrolls
indicating
that
my
hair
couldn’t
support
the
weight
of
the
braid.
However
this
was
not
the
case,
as
I
had
been
there
before
and
got
the
same
exact
braid
style,
width
and
length
and
had
no
problems.
(Actually,
I
had
gotten
my
hair
braided
there
in
June
and
returned
for
more
braids
in
November.)
I
appreciate
her
offering
to
rebraid
me
hair
in
another
style,
but
I’m
bald
so
there’s
no
hair
to
braid.
I’m
writing
this
review
as
a
caution
and
testimony
so
that
if
you
do
get
your
hair
braided
here,
be
sure
to
tell
them
to
not
braid
your
edges
tight
so
you
won’t
end
up
bald
like
I
did.
Also
make
sure
that
your
hair
is
not
improperly
combed
so
you
don’t
have
your
hair
pulled
out.
I
told
one
lady
that
was
braiding
my
hair
to
come
from
tip
to
root
instead
of
root
to
tip
but
she
wouldn’t
listen.
She
continued
to
comb
from
root
to
tip
and
pulled
handfuls
of
my
hair
out.
I
use
braids
to
protect
and
grow
my
hair.
In
the
30
years
I’ve
worn
braids
I’ve
never
loss
hair
like
I
have
with
my
most
recent
braiding
experience
at
this
shop.
I’ve
included
photos
of
the
plugs
of
hair
that
was
pulled
out
by
the
braids
from
the
roots.
