This was by far the worse OTB I've been to. I ordered fish tacos and they STUFFED them in the container. My guacamole was very small for $8 and extremely salty. I was so disappointed when I got home.

OMG!!! When you go ask for A P R I L!!! Good customer service experience!! Very attentive!! Listened to everything I asked for!! I came in from out of town and my phone was dead and she gave me a charger (LIFE SAVER) great service! Definitely ask for you!! The food was delicious!! Fresh! I miss OTB in HOUSTON & they need to bring them back!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if they do… bring April SHES GREAT!!! I love love and appreciate great customer service! Definitely will be my new stopping spot when I come in town! THE MEAT WAS SO FREAKING TENDER!! I’ve had no choice but to eat chilis because on the border is no longer in Houston, and chilis meat isn’t tender at alllll!!! I miss ON THE BORDER! WOW!!! Freaking amazing experience! Definitely stop in!

Diego was our server and he did an amazing job. Wonderful Service. Me and my Family had a great time on Saturday. We will be back for sure.

The food was good. My husband gets the off the menu item, chicken queso fundido. We noticed the prices have gone up since the last time we visited

It has been 15 years since I've eaten here. It's still good! My waiter did a good job. The place was clean, the food hot and delicious. The beer icy cold. I shall return when I have the craving for Mexican food again.

First time since 2020 that I have been here. Left because restaurant quality was poor! Tonight the food was excellent and service was too!

Getting seated here is a pain. You will stand for a long time without being acknowledged. A semple, hey I'll be right with you goes along way. The first time I came to this location my boyfriend and I left before being seated because it was taking so long to even speak to someone. The manager tried his best to talk us in to staying as he saw us leaving but we were forced to go due to timing. We tried this location again and it wasn't as bad so we stuck around. Luckily the waiter we got was super friendly and eager to take care of us. He did an awesome job and made it worth the wait. The food was delicious and we left stuffed! The waiter gets 5 stars along with the food.

This was my 1st visit to any On the Border location, Staff was courteous, food arrived on time and was really fresh and tasted amazing. Every item was really great. The drinks were good too. This place really deserves a visit, I’ll definitely recommend it. There is ample parking spots, restaurant is huge with plenty of seating options. There menu has wide variety of food items

We wanted Mexican food but not travel far. We ordered 2 of their 3 taco plates. I asked to make sure NO Pico, NO cooked onions. NO cooked bell peppers. "IT WAS ON MY PLATE." When we got the food, the tortillas were hard and hard to bite into. The guacamole serving was smaller than 1/2 the size of a golf ball. Definitely not enough for 3 tacos. All in all the flavor of the food was great. Temperature of the food was cold. Presentation of the was lack luster to say the least. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. Dinner for 3 was $65. Not worth the price for what we received. Definitely needs a little work before I return or possibly visit another location.

Hadn't been here for a while.. so Sunday we met my son and his family. The server we had was AMAZING!! She was the Best! The food was great too!! I'll be back there again! Stop by and enjoy a great meal and service!!🙂🌻

Good food, easy access from I35, good service, no wait on a Saturday evening when we were there.

We came in with a party of 6 for a birthday dinner. The hostess was very kind and even accommodated our needs to move from a cramped location to a spacious large booth. We then were greeted by our server, Jeff! He is hands-down the most attentive server I have had wait on myself or my guests in ages! Great personality and service! If we lived closer, we would definitely become a regular at this On the border location to be greeted with respect, just to visit Jeff, and enjoy the delicious food! Well worth the visit😊

I've came here with my wife multiple times and we have always had great service. This time we got a gentleman that it took 15 mins to get chips and salsa, never got out drinks till CASSIE came and saved the day. We have had her before and she is AWESOME!!. She is very good at her job and she really needs to be running this place. She is very polite and very customer service oriented. She is on time, doesn't bother you but makes sure your taking care of at the right time. We both enjoy her company when we do come. She needs a Raise!!! Thanks again CASSIE!!

This location was nice, clean and quiet at 8pm. My server was cool overheard me talking about their discount program and decided to give me a discount. It's little things like this that makes me go above and beyond on the tip. He heard a customer venting to his friends just making jokes and he took upon himself to make our experience just that more greater. The food took longer then expected but everything was smoking hot and good I forgot about the wait.

It was a beautiful night out. Had the Borderita and it was very tasty. Always have to order queso. Border sampler is the perfect combo when you can't make up your mind. There weren't many people there but service was a little slow. At least we got to watch the Stars game.

I've eaten at this restaurant numerous times over the past 10+ years. On my most recent visit (05/08/2023), the service was great, and so was the food. I was pleasantly surprised to find some new menu items. Our server was well educated on the new items and made good recommendations. Server was understanding with regard to my elderly mother's special requests for her meal. Her food was prepared exactly as she had requested, and our server checked in on us to ensure her meal was to her liking. My 5 year-old granddaughter was with us, and the kids' menu had numerous options for entrees, sides, and beverages. In addition to traditional Mexican entrees like tacos and enchiladas, they also offer corn dogs and chicken strips. Good variety for little ones Overall, we had an enjoyable e experience.

Today I witnessed some of the worst people I have ever seen and it was not the employees. It was the customers. I came in with my husband this afternoon and completely expected to be on a wait. The young girl in front was very polite and explained it was a 15-20 min wait. We took a seat and as my husband and I waited we observed people upset there was even a wait, people arguing to the host who was very patient pointing to an empty table demanding they sit there when, I'm assuming she was a manager, noticed commotion and came to the front and explained she wanted them to only have the best experience and as soon as a table was open to accommodate them (I at least counted 7 people in their party) she would sit them. She tried to explain that the table they were pointing to would be too small and they would not all fit. It was 1 small square table. They ended up just leaving. I saw the manager try to sit a smaller 3 group when they refused to sit there because it wasn't a booth! My husband and i heard other peoples complaints on the wait. This manager had more patience than I could ever have! Servers were working non stop all while smiling. We could see the manager bringing food to tables cleaning tables making drinks even took the table beside us order! Our server was ilhamm. (Not sure of spelling)and she was wonderful. Food was great. We both ordered fajitas and had margs. It might have taken a little longer than any other day but the chips were fresh and the salsa was the perfect amount of spicy and considering it was mothers day it was completely understandable

Visiting a supplier and my stomach started gnawing my backbone so I made a run to the boarder and they got me right!!!

Went there today for Sunday lunch. There was a female employee with band aids on her fingers pressing tortillas without gloves on, proceeding to scratch her face and when she came to greet guest wiped her hands on her butt. Once done with the guests she went right back to pressing the tortillas without washing her hands or putting on gloves. When she noticed that we were watching she put on one glove, her other bare hand still touching the food. To say this was a concern is an understatement. It is clear food safety violation. I understand that they were short staffed today but basic food safety can't go out the window. How did I know they were short? The same employee told just about every guest she greeted that she had an employee call out today. Does that make her the manager? Needless to say we did not touch the tortillas and were concerned about food prep we could not see. We will not be returning to this On the Border location.

We stopped by for lunch , and the service was good. The meal was hot in temperature when received as well as just what we ordered. Stop by you and enjoy a meal.

Maury(spelling) was great! We came in tonight and she took really good care of us! We normally go to the Frisco location but will definitely be back to see her. The taco was amazing too 😆🤣
