My visit to Lizard's Thicket in Lexington, SC was enjoyable. The food was good, though not reaching the level of fantastic. The casual atmosphere and friendly service contributed to a positive experience. A solid choice for a decent meal in the area, but not a standout culinary destination.

I had eye surgery today, and we enjoyed a late lunch afterward. The server was super sweet and helpful with suggestions on what to order. Everything was amazing and we enjoyed it very much! Hubby and I both had the meatloaf.

Been to this location several times now. Food is good for the price, and wait staff are always friendly and attentive. On my latest visit I had breakfast - chicken fried steak, eggs, grits and biscuit w/ gravy. All was great! Very tasty! And although they were very busy on this Saturday morning, I was seated immediately, my waiter was good, and food came out quickly.

The waiter made to many assumptions if I order something then place the order instead of telling me you don't want to order it because I might be to full I'm a truck driver man 😅 get out of here and bring me what I asked for

Food pricey for take-out sized amounts. Most often friendly window service Most often TOO slow!!!! I was second in line to order to go!! I moved forwarded to order after a few minutes waiting on first car to order. Then, I moved behind car waiting on its order. Was behind this car a grand total of approximately 14 minutes before I got my order for one (1) plate for a meat and two veggies. BTW: They had two single bags which appeared having one styrofoam plate in each.

I had the small plate chicken tenders and the tenders were some of the best I ever had. Crunchy, juicy and real tasty! My mother had a chicken sandwich and the meat was dry. She should have gotten the tenders!

Country Fried Steak is now mystery meat. Creamed corn tasted almost like it had soured. Dumplings in the Chicken & Dumplings were all stuck together. Lizard's Thicket downgraded their food, upped their prices & even their plates are now smaller.
