Lived there for 2 months in summer 2016. Had everything I needed. Nice room with incredible view, comfortable bed. Clean bathroom and a toilet. Simple but reasonable kitchen on the floor. The best thing is price. Staff doesn't speak any English, which was a problem, but not too hard to deal with.

The receptionists are incompetent and unwilling to help at all. When you arrive as a student, they don’t even give you a tour. They just give you the keys and you’ll have to figure it out on your own where everything is (Laundry, kitchen). It doesn’t give off a professional or friendly vibe at all. You aren’t helped if you need help, the only thing you can do is ask your fellow roommates or other people in the building since the actual people who work there don’t help you.

A decent swimming pool in there. Clean rooms. Reasonable prices. Good parking. Close to highway, close to subway. Well, after staying so many nights : You better bet this is a good choice. If you happen to experience some negatives, think of the famous benefit that is totally well known between students - There is a swimming pool above the 11th floor. Feel free to ask for keys at the lobby. As we used to. Or ask students. But you better ask some older students, rookies may not know details. I believe it was a Hungarian architect, who did just good job to project it on the top. Honestly, you may experience a lobby person who can not speak English very well. It is not that big obstacle to climb, students around will help you. And remember. If you think the dorm is way too noisy (beginning of the semester or celebrating exams etc.) and you do not like a random party on a random corridor, you may change your point of view. And join the party. Feel free. And if you are likely not to sleep deeply, take some headphones or ear-buds in order to filter out that noise. Well, and in this covid19 era, you better check things in advance. Zweimal messen, einmal schneiden.

I needed a place to sleep over. I was a bit sceptical as it was cheap, shared the bathroom and some other not so great comments. After 10 hours drive,I arrived late, around 23h on 02.07,the elder gentleman at the reception was very nice and polite, helped me to feel welcome. It is an older building, which is half a hotel, half a student dorm or something. The room was surprisingly very clean and nitty. I have opened the balcony door,to let the air in,and have slept like a baby. The cleaning lady should also check the balcony, some beer bottles were still there. I recommend the place.

I lived here for almost three months and my experience was very positive. The staff is very funny and kind, the room was big and nice, perfect for a student and the place is well connected to public transport and located near one big shopping centre, with bars and restaurants. In the area there are also green zones and places for kids to play.

It was nice, big, comfy and warm, but sometimes there was someone upstairs moving the furniture ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's probably one of the best dorms in Prague, the rooms are big and renewed. If I had to live in Prague again at a dorm,I would live in Volha. The only disappointment I had was that my roommate stole me,but the vedouci koleje did everything to help me. The people working there are friendly and helpful!

The rooms are clean and there is a lift inside the building. It is not a 4 or 5 star hotel but it was good. But the bathroom is really small. There is not a fantastic view but night everything is beautiful with lights of Prag.

One of the best Erasmus Accomodations in Czech Republic, affordable prices and really nice environment. If you want to enjoy your experience you have to be there. The only bad thing is that the location is "far" from the university but the public transport is really well connected with the center (also with night transport). As you are together with the rest of the erasmus students in the university, the journey with the public transport is so light

I do not recommend. The receptionist was rude and disrespectful.

Enjoyed our stay, we had access to the cafeteria meals, supermarket straight across the road and easy walk to public transport.

Being booked regularly by me and my friends during summer holidays, we find the Volha apartments nice, clean and without any unnecessary luxuries that increase the cost of accomodation. It's a great base for trips to the centre of Prague for a fraction of price you'd pay in the old town. And if you get tired by the excursions themselves, you can always stick to the nearby pubs, which offer great food, drinks and fun.
