Cool looking church. It's hard to find parking around there cause it's in the center of town. There's also a TON of birds everyone.

Though being a pagan to Catholicism (actually to the whole Christianity), I often visit major cathedrals while traveling abroad. I happened to run into here in a walk-around without a plan in Liberia. I loved the mood of this cathedral as a center of everyday lives, which gave me totally different impression from the ones I had in very famous and historic cathedrals of major European cities. I watched through all the wooden, colored reliefs in the three walls depicting the Passion of Christ. They were all charming.

Open during the normal times for anyone to come in and pray or just to sit down and relax away from the sun. There are very beautiful services on Saturday and Sunday evenings accompanied by the acoustic guitar - highly recommended!

It's very different appearance from what I've seen in other Central American countries. Beautiful structure. Liked it a lot.

Sunday mass option: 7am. Beautiful celebration of the Eucharist. Very welcoming community.
