First impression from any country- the airport. After 11 hours of traveling we got in line outside of bulging with +31 Celsius. Thank you for staff member who move this line in shadow eventually. So, 1 hour outside and 2 hours inside. Inside a bit better, but just a bit. No water fountain to drink, no water to buy. One girl passed out in the line! I understand it’s a higher demand over the Christmas break. I believe you knew or at least expected many people are going to come, did you? But we lost 3 hours of our first day due to this line and left the airport exhausted. All our plans for this day crashed. It’s not supposed to be like that. And fist time ever I saw luggage that was waiting for the owners from different flights. At this moment, this is our worst experience with an airport!

There are a good amount of stores and eateries in this airport for its size. The departure process is fairly quick and easy. 3 hours early seems a bit much, but I guess it can get busy at times.

Small but efficient airport Our total wait time for our flight connecting to Houston and then ending in. Toronto was a combined 10 minutes from the checking counter all the way until the gate for our flight. As you would expect, the price of souvenirs is nearly triple the price in other locations so I would suggest purchasing your souvenirs prior to getting to the airport.

Fantastic airport, well maintained and a pleasure to fly through. We moved seemlessy through on arrival and departure. Better than a lot of airports in the states.

To enter the airport you have to wash your hands. The check in process was quick at American Airlines. You can see by the long lines through immigration and customs that travel is back. The lines are long but the lines moved.

On my way to CR I give a five star review. Today on my way out from CR I will give a zero star review. Long long lines waiting almost two hours in a place super crowded and no AC inside the building. For those traveling with kids and elderly people be prepared l. There is no place to seat and there is no AC Inside de the building. Very bad experience. Management should look into and find some ways to make those lines shorter and if they can’t, give cold water or cold towels so all passengers can refresh themself. Don’t forget you need to be a lot in advance otherwise big chance to miss the plan. Also if you have four SSSS on your boarding pass on the right hand side corner prepare yourself for a double control before you enter the plane, doesn’t make any sense and very annoying.

Airport itself is nice. Clean and new well marked and organized, a lot of people available to help if needed. Decent amount of eateries they have your typical airport food and souvenir shops have a decent amount of nice things at high price. The downfall was the airport security took our bottle of perfume even though it was the right amount of ounces. It just seemed he liked it and wanted to keep it. We travel often and this has never happened we know the regulations so it was obvious but we didn’t want to argue since we were in a different country.

I'm impressed with this airport. Really clean, bright with some good food options and interesting opportunities for last minute gift and souvenir shopping. Right when we hopped out of our rental car transport, we were greeted by a friendly Tick who wanted to help us with our bags. While it clearly wasn't a requirement, it was a bit awkward to deny his help, as it wasn't initially clear if we would be going against a custom here. We tipped him gently see he helped us though and it was nice to feel supported.

Friendly people as al “ticos”. Clean restrooms. Nice to land and departure from this size of airports. Everything flows nice.

The airport is big and spacious . There are 2 restaurants in the airport I think there should be more . Both restaurants are packed so it’s bit hard to get a seat . The are a lot gift shops in the airport. There are duty free store in airport .
