When
traveling
I
try
my
best
to
make
the
focus
of
my
adventures
food,
nature,
and
company
(Yes
in
that
order).
This
was
my
last
night
in
Costa
Rica
before
heading
home
to
New
York
and
I
will
say
I
was
absolutely
delighted
with
my
last
meal.
Everything
was
fresh,
delicious,
and
above
all
the
service
was
exceptional.
I
had
two
glasses
of
white
whine
(I
forget
which
though
I
remember
they
were
from
Spain),
the
tuna
tartar,
and
the
sea
bass
with
lavender
butter
sauce
and
green
beans.
Both
exceptional.
The
tuna
was
fresh
and
the
addition
of
edamame
bean
added
a
nice
texture.
Not
to
mention
the
two
different
chips
and
sauces
that
allowed
it
to
evolve.
As
for
the
sea
bass,
it
was
bright
and
rich
without
a
single
over
baring
flavor
which
isn’t
always
easy
with
lavender
and
butter.
More
importantly
to
me
was
the
crispy
kale
which
was
seasoned
and
pulled
the
whole
thing
together.
The
chef
knows
their
stuff.
The
staff
is
kind
and
attentive.
If
this
was
where
I
lived
back
home
I’d
be
there
once
a
week.
5
stars.
