The pineapple basil smoothie is the perfect treat for the heat in Liberia! Great setting with indoor, street and back porch seating. Food was very good and probably the best grilled chicken I've had in Costa Rica so far.

Excellent food and service! Patacones were well made. The calamari was crunchy and spicy. The steak sandwich was very hearty. The tomahawk steak was one of the best I have ever tried, and was topped with a basil garlic sauce; grilled to perfection and juicy flavor. Thank you for the wonderful service.

I ordered pasta because I’m vegetarian and my meal came with a stroke of black hair in the middle of it. I told the waiter about it and he took my plate to the chef. Later I was informed that the chef said the hair was not from his team and that it was the same color as mine. Worst experience ever. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all. For the record, my friends also ordered a ceviche that had 1 hair in it but said nothing at first. Hope this review helps.

This was the best restaurant i have been in Costa Rica! The food is great and the services staff is very friendly. You should try the beef meet :-)

I do not even know where to start here. Came here with a group of 7 adults 3 kids. Dishonest - They have a menu for nationals and a separate one for foreigners of which both reflect different prices. Higher price for foreigners. Beware! Totally illegal! Quality - they served us a pasta with spoiled cheese. It smelled so foul both the kids and adults could smell it. It was awful. Once we brought it to the waiters attention they replaced it with a new pasta with fresh Parmesan. The smell alone was obvious. Misleading - Two plates were advertised one way and came totally different. They call a hamburger with coleslaw and coconut cream “Caribbean Burger”. Definitely not Caribbean. Definitely not worth it. Second plate called “Vuele a la Vida or Come Back to Life” is advertised as having mahi-mahi n shrimp. I got zero mahi, 2 shrimp n other chewy seafood in a sweet type broth. I was in the mood for something fresh and this was far from fresh. Unprofessional/bad management- After we identified they were deceiving us with the prices I requested to have our checks separated. After everyone paid their check they tried double charging the last person for various items since most of the group had stepped outside after they paid. It was brought to my attention so My husband n I went back inside to clarify and to our surprise the owner’s son/manager is behind the register. I proceed with telling the cashier we just paid those items and the “manager” then starts to be rude and says “okay fine, you guys can leave now”. Last comment - the burger my husband sick.

We had a very nice dinner, even if it was very late and almost closing time. Gina (the best) served us as we were her first clients: very friendly, helpful, fast and nice! We never had such good Margaritas ever!

Stopped for lunch before going back to Liberia airport. Super friendly staff! Nice portions and quality ingredients. Chicken was well done (not over-cooked) and ceviche was tasty. Fresh roasted coffee samples and packages to take home right on site. Would return again when back in town!

I took a look at the menu prices out front in colones and decided to go in. Got inside and got a menu in dollars with the prices jacked up 15 - 20%. At least be a bit more discreet about ripping people off. Waited a long time to get served. Then the waitress takes my drink away with still 1/4 of it left. However the steak soup was good.

Great service, good food. We enjoyed learning a little about the coffee in the area.

This is our go to place for whenever we feel like going out to dinner. Great sized servings, beautifully handled by it's personnel and completely worth every penny you invest.

The food and drinks were delicious and well worth the prices we paid. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming as well. Highly recommend!

If only we'd had an appetite for a full meal! The food looked great. The cake & juice we had were delicious and the staff were friendly, helpful & tolerant of our lack of Spanish.
