I love it, I love the fresh vegetables. Only my issue was that the older customers look at me funny.

Used to love shopping here, but putting a Market District in that small building came at the expense of having a selection of nearly every staple item. They also used that as license to raise prices to outlandish levels. Who needs items like this $10.99 jar of spaghetti sauce when you can't find but store brand graham crackers. The pharmacy staff is golden, and is the only reason we ever go there nowadays.

Love this store - when they're not changing the groceries and aisles around all the time lol. But definitely a step-up from Kroger, especially when it comes to selections and customer service - as they have cashiers that actually still bag groceries!

I really enjoy the variety an occasional trip to Giant Eagle offers. And while it's admirable that they've moved away from plastic bags, some items just shouldn't be put into a bag with others. I moved a package of mini cupcakes out from under 2-3 boxes of Ortega taco items, and several packages of boxed pudding, before putting the bag of groceries into my cart. All light items, yes, but, when combined in a bag, put back in the cart, transferred to car, driven 20+ minutes home, transferred from car to house and then put away, those cupcakes will be mashed. Other than the cashiers maybe needing trained on what can go in the same bag (paper), my experience was positive, overall.

It's a faded older big box grocer. Medium to over priced products SOME deals but can't compete over all with Kroger. Former glory had several in house fresh made food options. When I last went their upstairs wasn't even open. Had to sit at their Starbucks to eat out soup. Sad what it used to be (it was fading before covid)

you can get everything cheaper elsewhere plus you don't have to buy bags. I guess that's their new way to make a buck on customers. they'll say is for the environment, but really they don't care. giant eagle has been losing money year after year. if i do need to go here I don't pay for the bags and don't plan to start

I'm happy when there are Cashiers that are pleasant and plentiful. There had to be at least 5-6 registers open with Cashiers.

My favorite place. I love Ron and the liquor department. Jamie the cashier is one of my favorites, and Mia in produce. They have live music now... I love this place and the pharmacy is really cool too... Jason Ross

I usually prefer the Kroger in Lewis Center because the produce is always fresh and its easier to navigate. This location has definitely shown a lot of improvement since their recent renovation. The cashiers are always nice and the produce is typically well stocked.

Ok here is what to love, the new shopping carts are nice. The people in the front are nice and caring. Prices on specific items are very cheap compared to other stores including Walmart. I do not buy everything there but you can. They have a great deli. The pharmacy folks are amazing, love them all. You can find all you need. You do need to join their loyalty club (which is free) to benefit. I like the perks program less than the other program they have based on gas discounts.

A great grocery store to find a unique variety of edibles but the drawback is the cost of these products

Great local grocery originated from Pittsburgh. I love their extensive choices of cooked meals -sushi, noodle, chicken, potpie, pasta, salad- and international products, all in one place. Their staff is well trained and makes all your items in paper bags and moves to your cart. One star down for their prices not so competitive

The grocery section is fine, nothing special, nothing bad. Average grocery store to me. However the liqueur/wine/beer area drives me nuts. Many issues. 1) open the darn door already. They have a separate door for this area, and it's been non-usable for like a year. 2) people that work is that section just seem to wonder around, and not be behind the counter. You will stand there in front of an open register for like 5min before anyone comes to check you out. Then when they finally notice you, they are like "oh, Are you ready?" No i'm just standing here in front of the register because i like the view...of course I'm ready. 3) sometimes nobody ever even comes. The register is open...you stand around waiting to be helped...but nobody ever comes. So then you have to go find an employee because you need an item that is locked up. Then that employee has to find someone with a key. Turns what should be a 2min in and out purchase into a 30min ordeal. *Side note* this has been happening since b4 covid. So that is not the problem.
