"there are other dentists in town" EXTREMELY RUDE! The fake smiles ended the moment I had an issue with my insurance because of a card change, which I took the time to resolve, another doctors office I went to yesterday was able to verify my insurance is active but they are UNWILLING TO CALL MY INSURANCE because they're a "busy office" They lost my business my son's business my mom's business and my grandmother's business the office manager needs to be a better person she was very rude and condescending in person. Shame because the dentist seemed nice, your loss!

Notice how all of the reviews for this place are at least a year old? I would not recommend this dentist. I went to Dr. Deakins in April, ended up getting a tooth pulled (a three-hour process), and the tooth next to the extraction site has been throbbing painfully ever since. I mentioned this in the follow-up visit a week after the extraction and both the assistant and Dr. Deakins ignored my concern. I would not trust this dentist!

If I could give negative stars I would. I came in because my tooth is extremely infected. The dentist wanted to go ahead and have it extracted immediately. I explained to him that I do have allergies and that I would need to know what they used so I could get it. O k with my doctor before they gave me a numbing agent that I could potentially be allergic to. At the time the doctor wasn't concerned whatsoever about it and was still willing to extract the tooth. I left and called back to get the information on the numbing agent that they use. My doctor has ok that numbing agent because there is no ingredients I am allergic to in it. The secretaries now say they won't do my extraction Because the dentist does not feel comfortable using a numbing agent I'm not allergic too. So they referred me to general anesthesia to get my extraction done. Because they are refusing to send a referral saying I have been prescribed antibiotics and have an infected tooth I have to wait 7 months. I called them back to let them know that I needed them to send a referral with the specifics of my infection and they said " we tried to call but they are closed". I hung up with the dentist called the medical center and they answered within three rings. Is complete lack of concern for people that are in pain.

Absolutely love this dentist office and dentist. He most definitely cares about his patients and is VERY honest on his opinions as to what to do. I visited today and he and his tech both were amazing, and took great care of me! With Absolutely NO judgment! I will be back and my boyfriend went with me and also was impressed. So happy I found this place. Everyone was extremely welcoming and made the visit so much easier. My son is 7 and this was his first time seeing a dentist. He had a lot of anxiety and can become very emotional when he is scared. The dentist and dental assistant were phenomenal and put him at ease quickly. The receptionists were helpful in scheduling a follow up appointment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist. Clean, well maintained atmosphere.

Great dentist that cares about his patients. Me and my wife both had our teeth extracted with him, and he did an excellent job. His staff are really helpful and caring as well. The best part is he took us in when we had an emergency, unlike other offices where you have to wait over a week to get in.

Dr. Deakins was hands down the best dentist I have ever been too. Besides feeling the shots everything else was painless. I highly recommend him to anyone needing work done. I definitely am going to bring my daughters here as well. This was the best experience I have ever had at the dentist! Oh and his staff were awesome too!!

Its fair to say I have some dental anxiety after years of having teeth that aren't in great shape. This was my first pleasant, and comfortable experience with a dentist that I can ever remember. John was kind, understanding, and refreshingly non-judgemental. He went above and beyond to explain what was currently happening with my teeth and what steps needed to be taken to continue getting my teeth and gums where they should be. He took care to make sure I was comfortable and enjoyed my visit. I have finally found the dentist I will be sticking with. I highly recommend Northland Family Dentistry. Thank you to John and his staff for showing me a dental visit doesn't have to be miserable and high stress!

Amazing experience! Ashley, the dental hygienist that helped me, was super sweet and caring! She was very thorough! Loved the Dr! He was very friendly and there was hardly any wait before seeing the Dr. The whole staff was amazing and I cannot recommend this practice enough!
