#1 pizza in Lake county. Italian dinners are the best around. Wait staff is very attentive.

After 2 orders for take out I have received an extra piece in my Lino's Pasta with Shrimp. So far it tastes good but I don’t like plastic piece in my food. I’m not sure if I will order again

We were there to celebrate my daughter’s Navy graduation. The waitress we had was unpleasant and extremely rude. It didn’t seem to matter to here because a 20% tip was automatically included in bill!

More like a 2.5 stars. Alright pizza, charming restaurant, had a nice mom and pop feel. But pricey for what you get! I'm pretty sure the prices on the dine in menu are higher than the take out menu prices, so not much of a bang for your buck!!

Love the bread with olive oil and cheese when you’re seated. Tried the Italian Margarita. Definitely unique, but good twist. Thin crust pizza was delish! Linguine with meat sauce was great! We can't wait to return!

My husband and I are new to the area and we were missing all the Italian food options we had back home. Lino’s did not disappoint!! We ordered chicken alfredo and eggplant parm. Best eggplant parm I’ve ever had!! The sauce was equally as good. Prices are very affordable with big portion sizes. We will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you Lino’s!

I had a party of 13 Saturday night and we were met by rudeness. We ask to move 1 table and it was attitide ever since. Once they moved the table they didn't set any placement settings I ended up doing it myself. The service was horrible. The waitress said that we were stuck with her and she hopes for a big tip. Members of my party waited 10 minutes to wait for drinks. The cleanup people had to tell our waitress. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. As for our food an order of linguine with alferdo had white plastic wrap in it. An order of gnocchi with vodka sauce the gnocchi had frozen peices. At the end of the night she had the guts to put the gratuity on the check. Lino needs to send people for training or get somebody else. Linos HAD great food and service. We won't be going there anymore.

We have veen to Lino's many times and really enjoy the food and rhe service. We thought of it first when planning a dinner for a Christmas celebration with my boss and his wife.. they were also very happy with the food and our evening. We were not rushed and had a great time!

I always get the eggplant parmesian and have never been disappointed. My friend had Chicken Vesuvio, loved it. Our server was great, we went on one of those 100 + degree days, she kept her humor and was very good. The atmosphere is pleasant, we could easily carry a conversation.

My buddy and I stopped in here for a quick lunch and the food was quite good. I had the antipasto salad and he had the chicken parm sandwich, both were delicious! Would definitely come back here for a second visit

They got some really good food! I always order a chicken Cesar salad and it’s 🔥 I work at the salon a few doors down and I always recommend this place to my guests! I do wish they opened up a little earlier on the weekend!

Best pizza in Lake County! Personally love the thin crust sausage and green pepper pizza. Family favorites are the breaded jumbo shrimp, chicken vesuvio, and fried chicken.

I am a truck driver staying at a hotel close to this restaurant, I ordered a medium pepperoni thin crust with a side order of Buffalo wings , and I would give them 10 ☆ but the button doesn't exist. Very good food. 👍

If you prefer your thin crust pizza with ZERO fold in the middle pieces, take the bold route and order EXTRA well done. The food was good, but not anything special. Marinara tasted like it was bulk, not house made, gnocchi, and pasta, definitely not house made. Service was polite and efficient. Prices were fare. Table cloths fresh and clean. We didn't have the pizza, perhaps that's their strongest thing. If we lived closer, I would order again.

We ordered the Chicken Alfredo as well as the Chicken Marsala during our most recent visit (take out). We both thought our food tasted pretty good and wouldn’t mind returning there. However, the packaging that was done was fairly poor as the fluids from both dishes easily leaked out of the paper bag provided despite having it upright. Both dishes were placed on their sides in this case.

Shrimp scampi was delicious. Great taste shrimp cooked perfectly. Service was excellent fast very efficient. I love sweet tea they only had raspberry tea it was so good. Great place to eat. Old fashion Italian restaurant. Prices were very reasonable Reason for only 4 overall stars is the dipping oil is not seasoned just plain olive oil

They hit a homerun with us. We had a family dinner with 12 people. We called the morning of the dinner to see if they could make a catering order. Not only did they make the order, but the food was fantastic. They were so accommodating. We will go back for sure. The chicken parm was out of this world.

Lino's is one of my favorites. They have a great selection of pasta and other Italian dishes and a very friendly staff. Others must agree because Lino's expanded their dining room not too long ago. You used to be able to walk in anytime and always get a table but now it makes sense to make a reservation because they can get very busy. My wife compares the atmosphere to family owned Italian restaurants out east. They also have great pizzas that I often get as take out.

I've only ordered food to go - thin crust pizza is the best in town, my favorite - which you won't see very often - is the BLT pizza. Get the lettuce and tomato on the side to make your own bite - it's heavenly. The pasta is also phenomenal, as is their artichoke appetizer. Recommend to anyone on the area looking for the best slice.

Must have been short of staff. Waited 30 minutes with many empty tables. Once seated good service. Food was served quick and very good.

I went with family visiting from abroad and with other friends.All week we have being going to different restaurants in Libertyville, Vernon Hills, Gurnee and Grayslake with positive experiences. However, at Lino's, after our first interaction with the waitress, we all agreed that it was very unpleasant. The waiter was not polite, she seemed in a hurry, and annoyed. Since we were a group of more than 6, the tip was already included, otherwise we would have left the minimum. Also, we got tired of waiting for her in order to pay the bill. I guess she forgot about us. I don't recommend this place, especially for groups of 6 or more people.

So I order two tiramisu, calamari, eggplant parmigiana, chicken picante, and an Italian beef sandwich that ran me $65 and they gave me a plain bun instead of the sandwich and the chicken picante was extremely sour due to the old lemons that they used. I called next day to ask why was there no beef in the sandwich and they said they can’t do nothing. That’s really poor customer service, I do not recommend.
