Go get a second opinion before coming here. These guys will promise you anything to do your knee replacements . The outcomes are poor ...Go to Rush.. Go to Northwestern, Go to NorthShore... make sure you research your Doctor here before doing surgery. Especially to see if they have been taken to court. This I heard from a knee replacement patient in the parking lot who had 2 revision knee surgeries because her Dr was so bad. When I asked her how it went she told me to get another opinion somewhere else. We did and she was right. I didn't need a total knee replacement at all. Two other orthopedics said I needed a lesser surgery... the one where they do 3 holes with a laser. I'm great now walking etc no pain. How could IBJ get it so wrong? Get a referral to an orthopedic from someone you know.

Dr Vora is very professional, extremely knowledgeable, courteous and listens to my issues. Dr Vora explained, very thoroughly in a way that I could understand, my physical issue and treatment. History: I had 14 years of being shuffled to different doctors and had multiple surgeries that did not solve my physical and pain problem. 14 years of excruciating pain and unable to walk without aids. Dr Vora performed 1 surgery that cured my original pain. For that I am eternally grateful to him. His staff, like Dr Vora, are professional and eager to help. Setting appointments and testing. I would highly recommend Dr Vora.

I simply cannot say enough about how impressed I am with the IBJI Libertyville team! For the past 8 months, I’ve been in dire pain (in both shoulders) - usually when waking up noticing the pain most often. IBJI was quick to get me in, run MRI’s on both shoulders and I met with Ann. Within 45 mins, they had taken imaging and were prepared to treat the issue right then and there. Ann was EXCEPTIONAL - very good bedside manner, explained my situation in detail - did not make me feel rushed and was very happy to make suggestions on long term treatment. I’m not a huge fan of getting referred and going back and forth - and back and forth - visit after visit - to come to an outcome with medical treatment. IBJI Libertyville and Dr. Chams team were the single more proficient, helpful and caring medical office I have ever been to. Every single patient flow within the office was incredibly streamlined. Ann is amazing and the entire staff deserves to be commended. Dr. Chams, Ann and the entire IBJI Libertyville Team could and should provide training to other medical offices on how to handle patient intake and flow. They understand how to ensure the patients time isn’t being wasted, prompt diagnosis is provided - along with subsequent treatment. I’ve already been recommending them to others who I know that could use their expertise. Keep up the GREAT work! 5+ Stars all the way!!!

My experience with Dr Tack and his staff is one of comfort and gratitude! I had extensive, invasive spinal surgery and was amazed by his expertise. The staff has handled every step of my rehabilitation with well explained information, realistic and helpful advisories and very accommodating access and scheduling. I truly couldn’t have asked for more through such a life affecting situation.

Dr. Vora cancelled my surgery on a Friday night, which was scheduled to happen Monday morning, all because I got a second opinion (from another surgeon at IBJI) and because I referred to him as podiatrist. I don’t work in a medical field and I did not know the difference between orthopedic surgeon and a podiatrist. I’ve uploaded the voicemail he left me when he cancelled my surgery. My mom had already traveled from out of state in anticipation of this surgery and it put us in a really bad spot. While this incident was not recent, I was reminded of this today as it still has an effect on me and how I deal with doctors, as I’m terrified to tell them if I got a second opinion or to question them at all really. A doctor with any merit would welcome questions from patients and be far more understanding.

I was at IBJI for my one year post total hip surgery meeting with Dr Schwartz. I very much appreciate that at IBJI your time is important to them as they are always on time. I was existed snd met with the doctor who explain my post surgery condition and took time to answer my questions. You leave your appointment feeling confident that you are on target to a full recovery. I very much appreciate IBJI being a big part of my health care

I have both Osteo and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have been seeing IBJI Doctors for 20 years, and have had 8 surgeries, knees, hip, thumbs, fingers wrist. My husband has had both shoulders done. I highly recommend this orthopedic group. The doctors all have fellowships and are abreast of all the latest surgical techniques. We have also used their PT locations in Libertyville and Highland park. I wouldn’t go to any other group for my orthopedic needs.

I was impressed with the staff. The office ran like clockwork! My appointment was on time. I like Dr Schwartz and he confirmed my hip was fine. I will see him again if needed

Over the years, I've been at IBJI for shoulders, knees, MRSA of the foot, and now a wrist and hand issue. Lots of people like to criticize IBJI because they're big, and they're busy, which is true, but not a reason not to go to them. They're busy BECAUSE they're good. Every one of the Doctors that I've seen has taken the time to explain in detail my problem, the possible treatments, and the benefits and downsides of each. And the P.A.'s, who really do so much of the work, especially pre-surgery if necessary, are all outstanding. Accessible, understandable and caring. I have been very pleased with all the services I have received from IBJI, especially the Libertyville office.

Everyone is not only pleasant, but they are competent and things run efficiently. Wait times in the waiting room are not very long. Dr. Schwartz is a very direct and very professional doctor to work with. He also has a sense of humor which helps.

After a knee replacement I spent 3 years seeing several knee Dr.’s due to severe knee pain limiting my mobility. All said my hardware looked fine. I continued searching for help and found Dr. Chams. He was so kind and referred me to his colleague Dr. Schwartz. Dr. Schwartz sent me for a bone scan and when I returned he showed me the imaging and explained my hardware was overhanging 7mm in back and 4.5mm medially. The 2 places I’d been indicating as the most painful sites for years. I needed a revision which relieved all my pain. I’ve had other issues I’ve seen Dr Schwartz for and he is as kind and caring as he is talented and brilliant. All the staff are great as well. Professional, pleasant and kind.

I recently had the need to choose a Rheumatologist. I was referred to Dr Nigarsheth by Dr Benson my Orthopedic doctor. After only my second visit I felt that I received the care that I would have gotten from my doctor friend of over 30 years.

  • 5/5 Kimberly 6 months ago on Google
Dr Nagarsheth spends the time to understand exactly what you are feeling. He explains diagnosis, risks, and treatments without feeling like he is in a rush for the next patient. I am so happy to find such a caring doctor.

IBJ made my mom do physical therapy even though she has severe arthritis and it did not help her. They then said she could get gel or cortisone shots and when she scheduled her gel injection for this Monday, they didn't get insurance approval and made her wait over an hour for no reason. They finally called back once they got the approval, but we decided to go to northwestern instead. Avoid Illinois bone and joint. The doctor isn't bad but the staff suck.

A couple months ago I visited Dr. Craig S. Williams after emergency room guided me here to have my arm checked. Me and my wife asked the receptionist a multiple of times if my insurance covers those services and got a YES every time. I didn’t even need that visit because a had an upcoming surgery appointment. After that I received a bill and after each call to a clinic I got a “sorry we misinformed you saying it’s free but still you have to pay the bill”. Emergency room also stated that I have a free specialist visit once a year.

Difficult situation due to insurance. They worked diligently to fix everything and get me in to see the doctor. Wonderful people, Dr. was awesome. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Took their time to explain everything and help me.

They were on time and felt relieved. I did not have to sit and wait at all. Got in doctor and Anesthesiologist were waiting on me. Which made at ease not having to wait on what was happening next. Taken directly to surgical room and met the staff. Anesthesiologist came and and next I knew I woke up in recovery. After I woke and felt comfortable was walked to physical therapy and went up and down the stairs and back to my recovery room from there I waited for the team to release me to go home. I have never been so impressed with the quality of service and outstanding services that I received at the hospital and the staff and especially from my surgeon Brian Schwartz I am having my second knee done in May thanks to the good work that I received on the left knee. I am so looking forward since this has been 3 years of agonizing pain for me as I have a home job that I said all the time and I'm now able to physically and emotionally feel healthy again. I am forever grateful and I hope the second he goes as well as the first one. Thank you to all staff that there is a new life after 60. Hope to see you all back in May.

I had a 2:15 pm appointment at Libertyville location scheduled 4 weeks prior to the appointment. After checking in, the reception took care of bills and advance co-pay. I had set aside 1 hour for the Dr. Visit which normally does not go beyond 15 mins (since it was just a follow up) expecting to be out by 3:00 pm. Receptionist did not keep me posted about the delay. All of the other patients were going in pretty quickly, even the ones that came after me. Finally I was called in at 3:17 pm for a 2:15 appointment. Is the reception staff professional ? Should the patient be not informed about delay without having to check ? I’m glad at least Doctor is friendly 😀.

Very good communication. They listen to what you tell them, and respond appropriately and professionally. Dr. Vora was very responsive to my issues and situation. Absolutely a great place and team!

The ladies who answer the phone are always very nice when I have called in. The nurses who take you to the room are thorough when gathering your information. Dr. Tack makes sure he understands your issues and when he explains the options available, he makes sure that you understand the procedure, possible side effects and the possible outcome. He is a kind, caring physician.

At my most recent visit to IBJI, I had a follow-up appointment with Dr Babu. As the result of a bad fall, I broke my femur in 4 places. In order to insert a rod in my thigh to repair the femur, Dr Babu used minimally invasive methods which were very effective and required a limited number of sutures. At 6 months out, my bone is completely healed. Given the limited scarring on my leg, you would never know how serious the break was. Thank you, Dr Babu!

You should be aware that the doctor has the option as to whether his/her patient receives a survey of satisfaction. So the reviews are only sent to a patient they assume are “happy” with their service. Therefore, published reviews are not representative of the doctor’s patients.
