What a fantastic find!!!! This pub was fantastic. We didn't venue inside as it was such a nice day and there was everything you outside. We managed to get the use of one of the cabins which was amazingly kitted out! It had a karaoke machine, TV, heater lovely table and benches. There was a fab play area for the kids, goats, and chickens just wondering around. The kids lived there best lives!!

Really lovely place, has been refurbished since I was last in a few years ago. Staff were lovely and very friendly. We had a really refreshing drink while on our walk. The place had constant people coming in and out and sitting outside, it was lovely to see. Nice ample amount of car parking and plenty of outdoor space to sit. Massive garden area at the back ideal for family with children as there is a bouncy castle ❤️

Lovely pub - the extra space created at the back was decorated really nicely, the staff were friendly and the food was good! We had a few errors with the order but everything was sorted and we'd still return again

Amazing place, amazing food! 1st time visiting and it's a lovely Country Pub. Decor is crisp and very on trend. Food is outrageously good through all the courses. Allergen friendly with gluten free items clearly marked and a capable kitchen that were able to modify other dishes too. I forgot to order sauce for my steak, no issues at all and the chef managed to get me one out in no time. There was a nice looking beer garden with play area and cabins. In all this place truly deserves 5 stars, great hosts, food, decor and location- will be back soon!

A very pleasant lunch for £16 per head for 2 courses (cheaper than buying the main course on its own.) Really nice half of Abot Ale. Friendly staff and good food. They don't accept Great British Pub e-gift vouchers. Very nicely decorated pub.

Newly refurbished to a lovely standard. Staff were very pleasant and service swift. I had the crispy beef teriyaki which is something special. The chicken Kiev which comes with a pot of garlic butter (see photo) and sticky toffee pudding. All very nice. I'm told that the creamy garlic mushrooms with toast, the Shepard's pie and the New York cheesecake are also worth trying.

Decent local pub and the food was nice. Recently extended due to Covid. Worth a visit.

Beautiful place in a quiet area. A nice little bar with a big out door field and park. A nice lovely room to eat it nice decorating and clean and the staff and food is amazing.

Booked a cabin to celebrate my special birthday. Had a fabulous time, fantastic atmosphere in the beer garden, had a karaoke machine which was great fun in the cabin! Lovely outside bar with lovely friendly staff. Even let us have the cabin for an extra hour over our booked 2 hour slot. Will definitely do it again 👍😁

A lovely Sunday lunch for Moms birthday, she does not have a big appetite so we were so pleased when they accommodated her to have a child's portion of the Trio of meat. We did have room for pudding I had New York cheesecake yum yum I did have to ask for more fruit as it was slightly pitiful amount and they were happy to do so. A reasonable Bill for the 3 of us. We checked out the beer garden and that will be nice for the grandchildren.All in All a very good birthday for my mom .

After an unpleasant first visit to the Drill Inn pub back in August 2022, the management invited us back for a meal. We went for a dinner today (11 November 2022). I just want to commend the management and especially our waitress for a really lovely time. The food was fantastic and the staff very friendly. Thank you Drill Inn we will certainly be back again. I would also recommend this pub for anyone who wants really good food and a great time out.

Highly recommend this pub/resturant. Food was delicious & service was attentive. A minor issue with an order was sorted above & beyond. The outside looks like a marquee ’add on’ to the resturant - however the inside is lovely, warm & beautifully decorated. It has solid walls & feels nothing like the exterior look.

Superb Food, service prices there wasn't a single thing that disappointed. Will be booking Sunday lunch very soon.

We visited mid-week, however it was still busy enough with a good atmosphere. Food was great; I had scampi and chips, partner had cheese and potato pie. We had cheesecake and chocolate brownie for dessert and they were all delicious. Service was really excellent - friendly and incredibly attentive.

Overall enjoyed our visit but there were a few little downsides. We were sat in an area with a fabric ceiling which looked lovely but with the wind it was cold and loud. Food was pretty standard and large portions.

Booked for 9 people as a birthday party reservation for food. They put us in the bar area it was so loud we couldn’t hear each other at all. We asked to move they said they were fully booked even though there were many empty tables they just couldn’t be bothered to clean. Food was nice but definitely not going to come back.

Love this pub! Massive outside area with loads of tables. There's so much to keep the kids entertained; play area, bouncy castle, football pitch and even a little farm area with chickens and goats. Also, an outside bar and little shop to buy ice creams. Excellent family pub.

Firstly! Make sure you book your table! For being a bit out, on a country road / lane, this is a true gem of a find. Food was amazing and piping hot, especially as the place was fully packed! We managed an 8pm slot for six people. For five of us, it was a first visit. Three had the Pulled Lamb Shepherds pie, one had Fish and Chips, another the Salmon and me, a Burger. Wide range in age of Patrons. A big family celebrating an 80th birthday, to younger couples enjoying a meal. With alcohol, we chipped in 25-30 a person. Would highly recommend!

I found this pub by accident, It's quite busy, and very popular, but very cozy, with fast service. The staff are friendly and it serves lovely food. Nothing was left on our plates by the time we finished, 😁

Just returned from a meal at The Drill Inn for my birthday. Absolutely amazing food!!!! This is the second time we've been here for my birthday as after last year, I really wanted to visit again and I was even more impressed than last time. We both went for the fillet steak and I have to say it was 10/10. Staff and atmosphere excellent too. We were greeted and seated straight away and our drinks order was taken at the same time. We weren't left waiting for anything at any point. Will definitely be booking a table here again, just won't be leaving it another year this time! Oh and nice touch with a sharing desert at the end of our meal. Thank you to all at The Drill Inn for making my birthday a great one!

Always been a lovely pub. Comfy and cosy and fab ciders 👍 Came for another visit and had a pizza 🍕 our server was polite and very helpful. I wanted a slight change to my pizza and it wasn't any bother at all. It was also delicious 😋 The service was quick and all drinks and food were good. I'd recommend a visit for a lovely evening of food and drink. We had a table out the back restaurant area which was just back from the bat area.
