Were here on Wednesday and by lucky coincidence it is free of charge on Wednesdays. First of all buildings of museum are great, I enjoyed them a lot, I would even say, more than exposition. Exposition halls are huge with several peaces of art, art is modern and some expositions are difficult to understand. I would recommend to visit it on Wednesday, if I would payed for entry ticket, I think I would be disappointed...

The construction of the building started in 1997 and the opening to the public happened in 2000. The core of the museum focuses on works from the 20th and 21st centuries, that change from time to time: when I visited there were works of Nazgol Ansarinia, Invernomuto, Mercedes Azpilicueta and Diamond Stingily on display. The second part is instead the Hilti Art Foundation, which exhibits more classical pieces.

Two stars with my contribution as shown which will be available for viewing today only. Well worth the 15 euro entry. Smelling the inside of the shoe included in admission.

My sense of art is very limited however the exhibition I visited: Parliament of Plants II  (quote: gives a voice to plants. It testifies to a new view of these beings, which are inextricably linked with our own survival.) Made me feel that the real art is to ask CHF 15.- for the entrance ticket Better have a walk in the nature and hug a tree 🌳

We just visited it in our recent stop to Vaduz, and we had a coffee in the museum. The atmosphere is really nice, food (sushi menu) looks yummy but unfortunately we had already eaten, friendly staff.

To be fair I’m not in modern arts, so my review will be focused on the welcoming, the professionalism and the amount of arts. Taking those three in consideration, the team was really welcoming and professional. There was enough arts to admire but not enough from my point of view in term of quantity. Hence why 4 stars.

Not worth the CHF 15.- fee. The museum is tiny and wasted most of its space on a very unimpressive exhibition "C4" when I visited. The Hilti collection contains excellent pieces, but only a small fraction is on exhibit.

Very peaceful, a little empty (art-wise) the Interactive portions were very interesting! They have a free coat room and a paid cafe on the lower level.

It is very hard to follow the plant brochure as there are no numbers relating to what you're seeing. We had no idea where in the handbook to look to learn about what we were seeing. Frustrating.

You cannot see building on the first view and that’s the only objection. Tickets cost 15 Swiss francs per person. I recommend this place to everyone who loves plants. It worths to see.

Having experienced so many fantastic contemp/modern art museums in Denmark, I have to say Liechtenstein museum was a dissappointment for us when visiting in July. While the architecture is interesting, the collection/exhibitions were not emotionally engaging or that interesting - made us really think if it is about the choices or art, curating it or both. Exhibits were also difficult to follow as the accompaning texts were in separate and confusing booklets. There were plenty of supervisors/guards and they really followed and monitored each visitor closely- not that relaxing experience. Wishing this museum better times for the future!

Not really something for laypeople, definitely more for people who are into modern art. Even keeping that in mind, the exhibition was rather tiny. At the time of my visit, half of it was being rebuilt as well, which you would only know if you ask an employee, it's not really obvious. I can only recommend a visit on Wednesdays, when there's no entry fee. Not worth the price otherwise, especially when half of the (already tiny) exhibition is missing.

The architecture of the museum alone is very unique. The artworks were quite interesting and the museum staff is adorable 🙏🤗💙

This small city is a business hub. Less Population and more per capita income. This museum building is located in the main street and artistically decorated. Various Sculptures have been placed at certain distance. The museum building is in black cuboid shape. Adjoining is a commercial building in White.

We really enjoyed this museum. A large variety of art (not all to our taste) and a good choice to spend a couple of hours.

I was there when it was the "Day of museum" and the entry was free. The exposition is amazing and you can stay there a hole day

👍👍 Great piece of history here and a rarity that this covered bridge still stands! There lots of good websites for information on the history of this bridge, which are available in English (check Atlas Obscura), as the signs are only in German. The bridge is only open for pedestrians and cyclists, so m...

🫤 Nice place outside and inside. Unfortunately my experience there with wine tasting wasn't that good. I decided to use the Liechtenstein adventure pass' "try two wines for free". The sommelier wasn't happy about this and said to my face that "they have now opened two bottes of wine for me for free a...

🫤 Very small room. Too dark. On both walls are paintings from Johann Ludwig Bleuler, all related to the Rhine river. In the center are five display cases. The first one with a replica of the crown, the second with classic weapons and three with Faberge eggs. We were in and out in 15min. Would not reco...
