Great place. Even with a good appetite after a 13km walk, I was unable to finish the Johnny Burger. Great food and staff. Thankfully, you can wrap up your meal and take the remainder home

Nice place with gigantic portions. In opposite to many places with XXL portions the quality here is also high and everything were tasty! The Zigeuner Schnitzel was superb - both the quality and the quantity. The pictures can easily say it all... I can really recommend it! The only weird thing is the lack of card payment, it would be really great to implement it. Paying with PayPal is also possible, but I find it out too late here in the comments.

My team was in the area working on a project. We had a few bad apples among the ranks which resulted in low morale. I knew I had to do something to raise spirits for my colleagues, not only as a lead but as a friend. One drunken night at a bar, some old timer told me about this restaurant. After a quick google, I decided to plan a dinner party with my colleagues. To generate hype for the event, I promised everyone that I would pay for there meals if I couldn’t finish the xxl burger and 2l beer. All week I was talking smack and bets were placed against me. Little did they know how much I can eat in one sitting! During the meal which lasted 4.5 hours, our group of 14 sang songs, drank beer and laughed for hours. It was truly an amazing night and brought everyone’s spirits back up. As for the burger. . . I tapped out half way through but I did finish the beer!

To be honest it was ok. Not that bad but not that tasty. The rest is up to u. I come around once in a year. U can have a great time here. Mother Nature is all around this place n this is something very beautiful specially in the summer.

Went to the tournament in Kelkheim and one of my friends suggested this restaurant to go grab something to eat. He mentioned that portions are big, but i never expected them to be this big. Bigger the better is a thing in this restaurant, but the food is also delicious. We ordered 3 spare ribs, xxxl cheeseburger the size of a cake and a steak with gorgonzola sauce. We stuffed ourselves and couldn't finish it all. Staff is fast and awesome, prices are affordable, big open terrace where you can come with your dog. Definitely recommend to go and see, you won't be disappointed... or hungry .🤣

Nice outdoor area, but it took 1.5 hours to receive our food and it was all Luke warm or completely cold. The service was almost nonexistent. And the restaurant was only 1/4 full. Not recommended unless super ridiculous portions are your thing.

The place is set up really nice, there is a small park for kids, wooden benches and tables and nice covering. The price is not bad for the amount of food you get and the service is nothing special, but it's not bad service either. Here are my bullets: Schnitzel was dry and overcooked Fries were really good and cooked perfectly Meals are big Cook times are pretty quick Drinks are cold Well ventilated area Wifi is available if you get a password Cash only, no ATM close by Parking can be difficult on busy days Overall not a bad place, but nothing I'll crave or go out of my way to visit.

Perhaps it is a German thing but the serving was chaotic, half of our table received their food after reminding them at least two times. We had a reservation for a baptism party and after 2hours they kicked us out because the same table was reserved for others without telling us that the reservation was for a limited time. Not possible to pay with credit card, and the check was shown on a phone without a receipt. Too bad for the attitude of some of the staff because the food was great and we had consumed almost 800 euros here. Perhaps being foreigners counted in their attitude.

The food is great, although I think it is not very fitting for vegetarians. The Schnitzels are great with all the sauces. It is a place a few friends and I go to regularly. We really like the atmosphere there and the servers are nice every time. It is very easy to reach via car with a lot of parking options. I recommend it 100%

Very nice place, indoor and outdoor areas for dining. I sat outside, large area outdoors with lots of seating. Comfortable wooden tables and benches with backs. Plenty of shade areas from umbrellas and pergolas. Service was wonderful, always asking if you need anything, taking plates away as soon as you're done, and just being there if you need anything. Food was amazing, and plenty of it. The fact you can order a 250g (1/2 lb), 500g (1 lb), or 1000g (2 lbs) of schnitzel is crazy. But it's all so good. Fries were done to perfection, crunchy and crisp outside and soft and delicious inside. I had a radler that was fantastic, the shrimp appetizer, a schnitzel with dark mushroom gravy, and a piece of cheesecake. Lovely place that even has a playground for children, and was a great experience overall.

Love this been, been coming here for 8 years. The portions are huge and well worth the money. Always end up taking food home no matter how many people or how hungry we are.

The restaurant itself is not huge, but the portions can be if you choose so. Despite the huge size food is actually delicious! Schnitzel with gorgonzola was the best. Cash only place for some weird reason

They lost one star because you can only pay in cash. Also they ration out napkins like there's a shortage or something. Other than that the food is awesome.

We like to go there, food is good, people are nice and speak English. Atmosphere is nice with the outdoors and indoor tables. Spring and summer time is very beautiful.

My first visit, the schnitzels were really great. I was expecting assembly line food. The Rahm sauce was the best I've had in years. I smothered the 🍟 fries in it. 🔥 🔥 🔥

Interesting food, interesting experience. Definitely a casual place. It feels a whole lifetime from ordering your food to actually getting it. Some waiters are friendlier than others. Dogs allowed. Parking lot - no charge.

One of the most unique German restaurants with a big personality. Food and beer were perfectly complimentary of each other.

Bigger is better in this restaurant. Large schnitzels, gigantic sausages and huge hamburgers are but a small taste of all the dishes on offer. Lovely experience. It is a good thing that you can always get a doggy bag to take your leftovers home.🍔

I had to try the 500g jegerschnitzel. Then I left with the meat sweats, and it wasn't the big one (1kilo)!!!! Cold beer, fresh air and sun, say no more!
