Absolutely ADORE this place ❤️ Have family in this area and visit many times when I am here. It's a little piece of HEAVEN for me, the place is stunning, very clean, lovely friendly staff. It's an extremely exhilarating experience, good for mind, body, and spirit. Any time of year it's the best place to be!I I am back here mid-February, literally CANNOT wait! 😀

Villa Järvelä is the best sauna for whole my life😍Everyone wants to get new experience. I'm Japanese and we have also Japanese-style sauna in my country, but the Finnish sauna, especially Villa Järvelä, completely differ from our style!👍‼️ There are several saunas with various types of sauna stove. Some of them are not so hot but we can take rest there. Conversely, some of them are super hot🤠🔥 Especially, the biggest one can be very hot and attractive from 9pm to 10pm🔥🔥🔥 I'm always very happy to be there at the "hottest time". Of course, for some people, it may be too hot and not so attractive, but there is a caution statement on the wall around the entrance of biggest sauna. So, those who do not like super hot sauna can select other sauna to avoid the too-strong experience. Anyway, to be honest, the super hot sauna is one of my precious experiences and I hope that some of you may enjoy it😉 When in Finland, do as Finnish people do😁🔥

Jos olet todellinen saunan ihminen, etkä ole turhantarkka pienissä asioissa ja tunnet mielihyvää katsellessasi viehättävää järvinäkymää, tämä paikka on sinua varten. Sen illalla oli käytössä kaksi sähkölämmitteistä ja yksi puulämmitteinen saunaa. Kaikissa olivat hyvät löylyt. Virkistykseksi oli mahdollista uida järvessä, vilvoitella 2 asteen altaassa ja ns. jääkammiossa ollut uima-altaassa. Lisäksi oli käytössä kaksi 37 asteista lämpö-allasta. Kyllä, nämä kriitikot voisivat sanoa, että jotain voitaisiin tehdä toisin tai lisäksi, mutta tärkeintä on se, että sellainen mahdollisuus on olemassa jokaisella päivällä viikossa ja kaikille, jotka haluavat.

Ainoa yleinen sauna ainakin Turussa jossa saa kunnon löylyt, erityisesti se viimeinen 21-22 ison saunan kuumatunti on ainutlaatuinen, huumorilla maustettu vuoro. Ja jos tykkää miedommista löylyistä, niin Järvelästä on 3 muutakin saunaa. Lämmin paljujakin on 3kpl vaikken itse käytä mutta kesällä yksi palju muutetaan kylmäpaljuksi ja silloin käytän. 18-20 väkeä on toisinaan paljon mutta aina sinne on mahtunut joukkoon.

It can not be more authentic! The staff was super helpful and friendly! It is possible to jump into the frozen lake nearby after taking the hot sauna, which I did 😊 Don't forget to bring your own beers :)

Aivan ihana ja tunnelmallinen paikka rentoutumiseen. Saunoissa löytyy vaihtoehtoja ja kaikki mukavan kokoisia. Erityisesti Lämpimät altaat olivat omaan mieleen. Voittaa kylpylät mennen tullen. Mukava henkilökunta. Vahva suositus, tämä täytyy jokaisen kokea!!!

Todella mukava paikka. Kesälläkin pääsee kylmiöön (avantoon). Mummon sauna oli viime käynnillä remontissa, mutta valmistunee piakkoin. Maisema sauna oli tullut lisää ja oli erinomainen. Tykkään käydä paikassa vaikka asunkin kauempana.

A cool place to enjoy traditional sauna in the middle of the winter and then have a swim in the frozen lake. The place is not too big, with intimate vibe and nice facilities. A little coffee shop with hot drinks and basic menu. Will recommend to come not during the rush hour. Enjoy :)

Highly recommended authentic sauna experience. Different saunas and hot tubs to choose from and not too crowded. For those interested in a cold dip, the lake is just steps away.

Kaunis paikka ja hyvät saunat ja avanto, mut toteutus ei toiminut. - tulkaa jalkineiden kanssa - varautukaa ruuhkaan - varautukaa humaltuneisiin ihmisiin Kulkureitit oli jäisiä mutta niissä oli karkeaa tiesuolaa päällä mikä aiheutti ärtymää ja kemiallisia palovammoja jalkapohjiin, sillä suolan ja jään yhdistelmä iholla menee jopa -18°C, (Jalkineet olivat vapaaehtoiset, meille kerrottiin käytävien olevan lämmitetyt). Paikka on ymmärrettävästi suosittu, joten ruuhkaa oli jonkin verran. Osa ihmisistä oli selkeästi humalassa, ei välttämättä paras yhdistelmä avantouinnin kanssa? Avantopaikkojen kaiteet olivat niin paksulti jäässä ettei avantoon voinut kunnolla mennä kaiteista kiinni pitäen, sillä oli riski otteen lipeämisestä ja veteen putoamisesta.

One of the places to visit in Turku. The place has an incredible view. Enjoy and chill with sauna, paliu and lake. Normally you will find local people as well as foreigners.

Absolut a gem by the lake. 3 different saunas, hot tubs, cold tub and an ice room for those who dare. Super friendly staff and a possibility to bbq your own food if you wish. Possibility to purchase ice cream and drinks. Not too expensive and laid back atmosphere with an opportunity to enjoy the best of the best of southern Finland.

Great saunas! For a very reasonable price you can enjoy three different and relaxing saunas, the pier to cool down in the lake, and three jacuzzis. A new "cold tank" is also available. Showers and dressing room is fine. The grill is very good and really convenient, and allow you to finish a relaxing afternoon. This place is awesome and offers a great experience.

If you are staying in Turku (as a student, tourist or anything else) you should absolutely have a sauna in Villa Järvelä. It has also many heated pool and four different saunas. Moreover, recently they added a cooled room with a cooled pool too. It is a must!!!

Fantastic Sauna experience! Went to both electronic and wood log room, tried the 1'c pool dip was shockingly cool and the lake dip was just dreamy! The view and atmosphere perfectly complement the experience! Was there 4pm to 9pm, slept so well that night! Friendly reception, helped me to keep my bag and advised me what to do as a first timer! So sweet! 🙏😍

This place is a little hard to get to by public transit but worth it every once in a while. If you go before 16 an entry is only 7.50 instead of 9 euroes. They have a variety of different saunas to choose from and even hottubs and sometimes a cold tub. The lake is also a really good place to calm down in. There are 2 bigger saunas that differ in heat, 1 smaller wooden sauna and a tent sauna which is quite cold but a cool experience

Simply the best ice swimming place in Turku area. 3 hot tubs, 4 saunas, awesome views. Cheap prices. Very popular place but hard to reach without car.

To get the best experience of the place, one must visit all the saunas and cool down in a lake between them. What an amazing place we have here just nearby.

Nothing beats a visit to this place! Got saunas, cold avanto, beers and drinks, plenty of room to choose from, and most importantly, a nice buzz from the mixed crowd. Young and old all together enjoy the löyly and the cool down! Going back asap!
