I was in the area and wanted to kill time while my son was at a party. I searched seafood and this place had great reviews. Great choice I made! I had the Nola oysters, raw oysters, fish tacos and Bimini bread. The fish was fresh and caught locally. The food came fast as hell. The ambience is chill, there was live music and TVs to watch the game if you chose too. Everyone was pleasant. I’ll be back for those Nola Oysters. They were BOMB🔥 oh and they have their homemade hot sauce. That was 🔥too. My baby had the pink lemonade and enjoyed the food as well

What can I say... the food was fabulous. The drinks for the price could have been stronger. The servers were attentive and friendly. I went twice in two day!

This place is insane. Complete hidden jem. The stone crab is amazing the sushi is excellent. The decor is crazy. My only complaint is that the place needs to be dusted!! The place could use a deep cleaning🌈😉🥴. The live music with excellent and we sat right away at the bar. Would definitely go back

I would give this place a solid 3.5. I would have loved to have given them a 4 rating but there were a few to many things that could not be overlooked for my review. I was visiting out of town and looking for a restaurant who served the best fried snapper in town. All reviews pointed to papa's. And the reviews were accurate the whole Snapper was fresh and absolutely fried to perfection. The presentation of the fish was on point too. However, there were a few cons that took away from my dining experience. 1. They only had a 3.9 lb snapper for my party of 2. That's a huge fish for just two people and at $18.99 a pound pretty pricey not to come with any sides. * 2.5 star service* 2. When seated we weren't offered water. I had to ask for it at the end of my meal and it came out in worn glasses that were busted around the rim. See 📸. 3. All the food came out at different times and not all at once. (French fries, salad, Snapper) It would have been nice if everything came out at once. 4. For the price point of the meal it would have been nice if the resturant served bread or chips and fish dip, something complimentary considering the wait for your food could take a bit since it's cooked fresh. Conclusion: Everything we ordered was delicious and tasted fresh. The food quality and preparation is on point. However, Is it really worth it if everything else is lacking - ambiance, service, thoughtfully composed hospitality. Would I return yes but with managed expectations.

Not gonna lie... Usually come for either fish tacos or blackened mahi sandwich Matt's Way. The wahoo bites for an appetizer is also a favorite. The way things are here have changed over the years, but anytime I want a fish sandwich.... I just head to Papa's! Definitely, one of the best places around and always consistent.

One of the best seafood you’ll ever have. This place a secret gem and a locals only bar so shush… don’t spoil it and definitely don’t tell those tourists. Everything is amazing here and when i mean everything i mean everything. The fried rice is better then any other Chinese place in south florida besides rainbow palace in fort lauderdale. And the sushi is super awesome and unique and appetizers are all awesome. The clam chowder soup is soo good and my goto and my new fav is there franciase style daily catch. Best franciase i had in awhile… ok lol its the Best fish franciase i ever had. There fish sandwich too with the dynamite sauce was freaking great too! Bang bang fish sandwich! 10/10

We had stone crabs, a yoga roll, whole fried yellowtail snapper, and blackened tilefish. Everything was delicious, the live music was chill, and our server was great! Definitely recommend if you're in the area

This place serves fresh and delicious food. Recommended by our snorkeling guide, we checked it out and we’re not disappointed. Fresh seafood with some rotating items based on the catch of the day but also many staples like various sushi and calamari. Great drink menu too. Service was extremely nice and fast.

If your anywhere in Florida, make the trip to this place! Visited here twice in 3 days, it was so good. Dan is the man! Thanks brother, you were great 👍. Host was super friendly as well. Seafood/Sushi is a must try.

Loved the food, atmosphere and service. The fried calamari were excellent, the half and half chowder was delicious and the sashimi roll delightful. However, the best was the print and friendly service.

My new favorite place! Love the Key West vibe. Makes you feel like you’re on vacation. $1.50 oysters and the best Bloody Marys. Super fresh fish. Tacos we’re amazing!!!

Long overdue visit. Date night.,Felt like seafood.... been a long time since we've eaten here. we had an amazing feast. Started out with cracked conch and swordfish bites with the seaweed salad.. Then we had Stone crabs and a dozen oysters on the 1/2 shell ... We ordered more swordfish bites and fried rice. B was our server and she was attentive and charming. She was an excellent server. We will be back sooner than later.

I had a nice experience alone seating by myself at the bar and I ordered a nice Wahoo tempura also called Ono in Hawaii. This was totally unplanned, but I was going to buy some fresh fish next door and was super hungry. I was first greeted by a very nice middle aged lady who had a big smile on her face and that cheered me up. Casey was my waitress and she did a good job and the sushi chef prepared the best dish for me, and so I would give this place a 5 stars for the food, and wine which was 1/2 price btw. The price was fair, the atmosphere was ok but it was lunchtime on a Wednesday afternoon. The place inside was very cold, inviting and comfortable. It’s very deceiving from outside cuz it’s pretty vast inside. I will go back again.

We sat outside, and our waiter, Dan, was amazing. The swordfish was the best I've ever had. All the food was delicious. Would absolutely go again. 10/10

This restaurant is such a vibe! I love seafood and Papa's Raw Bar has some of the freshest seafood in Broward county. Everything on the menu is delicious. I love their stone crabs, rock shrimp, tacos and sushi rolls. The staff is young and friendly. I ate at the outside bar while jamming to 70s and 80s hits. Also I discovered one of the owners is a Florida State University alumn. As a fellow FSU alumni, myself it makes me love this place even more! Tasteful seafood + live music = Papa's Raw Bar! 🤩 Even though there isn't plenty of parking on a Saturday late afternoon, it was a sign that the food was incredibly good. 🤤 As we sat down on one of the tables outside, two artists started singing live and entertaining the guests. From rock & roll to reggae to 4th of July songs, the duo added some much fun to the atmosphere of the restaurant. 🙌 We order the peel off shrimp (HIGHLY recommend getting this with a side of fried rice), king crab legs🦀, oysters🦪, fish🐟, fried breaded shrimp🍤, conch, Sir Reel California roll🍣, and our beverages🍻. Not only the food came out fast, but it was so tasteful and great quality of seafood. I can't wait to visit Papa's again. 👍

Went to Papa's Raw bar on a recommendation from some friends. The food, service drinks and all were excellent. Steven took care of us and did an outstanding job. He knows the menu through and through and made some perfect suggestions for us as well as him being extremely friendly and professional. There's a lot of great seafood meals to choose from especially if Sushi is your thing. The New England clam chowder is one of the best we've had, it's served in a large coffee mug. We enjoyed everything and look forward to dining there again.

Was in town on a business trip with some coworkers and went here because I was told the food was absolutely delicious. Story checks out because everything I ate here was absolutely delicious! Steven our waiter was absolutely amazing as well. I really enjoyed myself. Next time I come back in town I will definitely come to this place again.
