Not a place for bouldering. The burdock center has different qualities, but the small bouldering area is disappointing. Few routes, unclear levels of difficulty, rugged holds, hard mat. Unfortunately, for most of our visit it was more of a children's playground than a bouldering area, which was not only annoying but also sometimes dangerous with people climbing. There is also no suitable place to warm up and stretch except in front of the toilets. As is typical for climbing: here too there is a great community with lovely, helpful people. There are much better locations in Bremen for bouldering.

Place is no doubt - good. But the staff, from the moment I entered, I felt as no climbing today. They need two people for climbing, one for holding rope and other to climb. What if I came alone, then I can't climb. Went to Bremen specially to climb, but couldn't. Hoped the staff could helped rather than making me feel to leave the moment I enter.

The UNTERWEGS climbing hall in Bremen is a really nice one. It is a branch of the official German Alpine Association (in German: DAV) and offers several climbing possibilities. Apart from the main hall, that offers tall walls with many lead climbing routes as well as some already-prepared top-rope stations, there's a small bouldering section (also good for warm-up). On the upper floor you will find a secondary rope climbing section that simply has shorter routes, and a good view on the main hall from above. There's probably a training section hidden somewhere, but I haven't really explored the whole building (a pretty impressive building). Like any traditional hall, there's a little bar that offers coffee, snacks and a friendly personnel. One may also, of course, rent the necessary climbing gear at the reception. The entrance fee is not cheap, but it's worth it if you're eligible for reduction (student, DAV member etc.). The climbing area is fine and clean; the routes are diverse and long; the atmosphere is calm and often feels family-like, especially during rush hour when many kids, families and groups are present. The self-securing devices, which allow you to climb without the need of a partner are really fun! I enjoy coming here and looking forward to taking the lead climbing course at some point. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone who finds passion in climbing; whether you're a beginner, an experienced climber or if you just want to get a taste of it for the first time :)

The best place in Bremen for climbing. Some routes are equipped for top rope climbing all other are ready for lead climbing. A few routes also have an automatic securing device. There is also a small bouldering area. For sunny days, there are some routes outside on the external wall of the building. Rental equipment is available. Snacks and drinks can be bought. They also offer courses from beginner to more advanced

(Translated by Google) A rather small but absolutely sufficient climbing hall. Many varied and well screwed routes and a bouldering area. The people are all very nice (Original) Eine eher kleine aber absolut ausreichende Kletterhalle.

(Translated by Google) Great hall with great staff and audience. You can spend a few nice hours here, climbing, coffee, climbing, chatting a little, climbing, eating something delicious and driving home totally broken. Staff always super friendly and helpful! The routes are regularly redesigned, there is something for all levels of difficulty as well as some top rope routes. The handles are not completely worn and mostly very clean. The changing rooms and toilets are always super clean and there are enough lockers and showers. Unfortunately a bit crowded on most evenings of the week, where unfortunately sometimes the respect among each other is lost and several routes are reserved or the distance is not maintained. Pity! Talking to people usually helps. Climbers are generally quite sociable :) I also really like the environmental concept of this hall. But I still like staying here and I really like spending a large part of my time here.

(Translated by Google) An extremely Gutenberg climbing hall with a small café to strengthen yourself in between. The toilets are clean and there are changing rooms with lockers where you can store your belongings. The chain hall itself is in very good shape. The highest point is 14 meters. There are options for mutual protection but there are also two automatic backups where you just have to hang up. The staff is helpful and very nice! I would really recommend!
