Ordered a double cheese burger with everything on it with a side of fries and a drink. The taste was great and the meat patties had a classic grill taste with all the veggies that were in the burger. I am not from the state, but will go again whenever I pass through Ohio again. Recomiendo'

Perfect burger every time, the fries, pies and malts are a blast from the past. The portions are great as well. The staff has always been kind and patient as well as knowledgeable. We love this place. So glad we can dine in again.

Went again today around 10:15 am. The hamburger was fresher and hot. The fries were better today. The hamburger and french fries were ok, nothing special. Well, it was better than other fast food burgers. The chocolate malt was the thickest I think I have ever tried to drink. Prices are good. This place was busy. The dining room is large.

Kewpee Hamburgers is a local gem in Lima Ohio and definitely worth a trip if you’re in the area. There are three locations throughout the town, but I personally stopped at the Bellefontaine store. Get here early if you are coming for lunch, as there was Atleast a 10-15 person line on a Monday at 11am. The store is setup like an old burger joint from the 60-70s and it seems to be run by a group of the sweetest older women you’ll ever meet. The ordering is simple. You pick your burger, toppings(some are extra), and then fries/drink. They also offer slices of homemade pie. After ordering, you pay at the register and they cook your food up fresh and hand it to you. The kitchen is visible from the register, so you can watch as your food is made. The burgers are good and the cost is surprisingly cheap compared to its peers. The burger is a patty bigger than your average McDonalds/Wendys brand. The bun didn’t feel cheap and was good. Toppings are very fresh.... however, they only offer Miracle Whip if you like mayo on your burger. I’m not a fan of miracle whip myself, but it honestly wasn’t bad on this burger, nor did it ruin my experience. The fries were crisp and tasty. There’s a small history exhibit in the store that explains the origins of the brand. Overall, if I ever pass through Lima, I would definitely eat here again. 👍

I drove up from Dayton to get me their famous Kewpee cheeseburger. Had they chili was pretty good. The one item they didn't have I deeply wanted was the Oreo Cookie Pie. That's okay because I will be coming back.

Normally a favorite, but haven't visited in a while since I've moved out of Lima. We went to the Keepee East. The inside line was an hour wait. It appeared that there were only 3 employees in the building. Our burgers were not up to par. They seemed thin and chewy. The fries were luke warm. Also, there was no atmosphere. Some light music in the background would be nice. As it is, it's more like a warehouse atmosphere. Very disappointed.

I am in this area a week out of the year and finally tired it after hearing about the back story. They definitely do a burger better than Wendy's. Freshest lettuce I've ever had in fast food. Lines are crazy but they have a lovely product.

If you dine in, the line can be pretty long but not always and they're locally famous for their food. Service is pretty fast tho.

We enjoy this hometown favorite burger joint. A juicy double with cheese and our favorite condiments, of which there are many to choose from, paired with fresh fries make a great quick meal at great price. Highly recommended.

I will say the use of Miracle Whip (used for salads) is an odd choice over mayo (used for sandwiches) but beyond that i loved everything! The pie, the fries, the burgers, ooh my! Cant go wrong at Kewpee!

I always love stopping at the Kewpee. Burgers are great, and I love their frozen malts. Drive through is a little slow, but they are very busy so it's understandable.

A Lima staple. I stop almost every time I stop in Lima. The burgers are delicious. The malts, super smooth. I had the pumpkin pie with a ton of whip cream, yum. Three locations and easy to find. There is one just off I-75 exit st rt 309. Give it a try. You'll be glad.

You come here for the experience! There’s 90 years of history in this restaurant. I feel like I’ve been transported back in time as I stepped into the restaurant. I love their old fashion way of taking food orders. Food, it tasted great. The malt is delish and the small size is the perfect amount.

5 stars for everything except service. Took 35 minutes from time entering building to getting food.. the system they made for ordering was confusing. BUTTT those burgers are so incredibly delicious it still gets four stars. Perfect texture and beefy flavor.

Kewpee burgers have been a part of my life since before I was born lol. I love stopping here every time I go through town just to enjoy the taste from before. I just wish they would do the bacon correctly. I never know until I'm already back on the highway.

Kewpee burgers are the best in the midwest. They are fresh and made to order. None of that microwave mess you get at other places. I get a Kewpee double cheeseburger with everything on it almost every time I come to town. You have got to try it. Delicious!!! Woo, the pie is amazing any kind. The staff is fast and kind to everyone. FYI this is another line around the corner restaurant, so be prepared to wait. It is worth every minute.

What a unique, affordable, and delicious place to eat! Coffee is .75!!! My husband and I each enjoyed a 32oz fountain drink, single burger w/fries for under 14.00! Did I mention the food was fresh and so delicious! Compliments to the staff and owners for such a great place menu, and prices!

Kewpee is the best burger in North America!! Okay, maybe not, but definitely in my list of top 3. Local beef and produce, and excellent fries. Fresh, made to order. Bathroom could use a little attention, but that would be my only complaint.

This place has been a part of the community for many many years. A friend took me there for the first time a few years ago. The food was amazing! The hamburgers were hot and juicy, the fries were hot, and the chocolate malts are delicious!!! Unfortunately, the last couple of times we have been there, it has been a different story, and today was one of them. We both ordered 2 cheeseburgers and a fry. After waiting in line for almost 25 minutes with only 5 orders ahead of us, we got our food. The burgers were dry and barely warm, the pickles and onions were scarce, and the ketchup and mustard were more on the outside of the bun than the inside. The fries were not very warm. Of course we got it to go so it was not worth the time to turn the truck and trailer around. This was the same the previous time we visited here. I hope something changes soon, because its really hard to find a good burger and fries anymore that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

The quality of food at all locations in Lima have gone downhill. I always get a cheeseburger and they used to taste amazing! But nowadays the burger is lukewarm to cold and tastes too much like the bun instead of a cheeseburger, sodas sometimes not enough carbonation, and the fries are half soft.

Normally I enjoy it, but tonight on east side, not good. Fries were barely warm and all 3 of us had pink in our burgers. The line was super long and I was not going wait to get it corrected, so I ate what I could and tossed the rest. Will not be returning.

Had high hopes for this place. It was our first time and by the looks of the lines both inside and in the drive thru we thought it was going to be good. We were very disappointed though. It was our turn in line and we were very rudely told to move so a lady could buy her coffee. Then when that was done we weren't acknowledged at all. In fact they tried to skip right over us AGAIN. When we told them we were next the girl working the cash register gave us a very nasty look didn't say a word just turned around and walked away. She disappeared for over 15 minutes. We were very confused. Then when she read our order to us it was completely wrong. Even after trying to get that fixed we returned home to find it was still completely messed up. Still we didn't come for the service we came for the food so we tried to make the best of everything. That was horrible as well though. The burgers had little to no flavor. The toppings were skimpy and gross. The bacon was pretty good. The chili was the worst tasting thing I have ever eaten. It was water and just nasty. The drinks are TINY. No one explained to us that when you ask for a medium drink it looks like a child drink. When you ask for a large drink it looks like a small. We had to stop and get drinks from the store before heading home which was annoying because all we wanted was to be able to eat dinner. Overall this place is terrible. It was our first time and definitely our last! No idea what the hype is.

I hadn't had a Kewpee burger in over 20 years and my wife had never. It was very good and will definitely return again. Though the labor shortage is impacting the wait time. Our burgers were also a bit on the cool side, most likely due to the labor shortage. I would definitely not hold that against them.

I'm in Lima every week for work and I make sure to eat here every time. They also have amazing donuts and really great frozen yogurt

Enjoyed a yummy lunch with my mom. Large dining room with lots of seating at the Bellefontaine Ave location. We both got a burger, fries, pop & ended with a delicious piece of chocolate pie for Marchocolate.
