Having had nothing but fantastic service in restaurants throughout Cyprus, we've been a bit surprised by Lemesos - for some reason the service here - at least in the places we've tried - seems to be rather cold and unfriendly! Unfortunately this was also the case at Lido, hence the 4 star review. The food was actually pretty good - my swordfish was slightly overcooked but tasty, but my husband loved his stifado. The lady who served our table however was pretty miserable and made us feel quite uncomfortable with her curt, monosyllabic answers and barely a flicker of a smile.

One of the best restaurants of it's kind. A breath of old Limassol, good, well prepared food, friendly atmosphere. The owner and staff are very friendly. Nice view of the sea, 10 meters away from the seaside.

Good place for dinner. 60 Euros for 4 persons with wine.

Terrible experience. The worst food I have ever eaten. Dishes wasn't fresh and nothing had pleasant taste. I only hope that I will not have food poisoning. Unfriendly staff urgently asking for tips. Don't go there!!!

A very nice place. You expect more tourist like place, but no. And reasonably priced. Definitely now that Red Cafe raised their prices. A beautiful steak Diana. A little more sauce would have been perfect, but happy nonetheless. And their own White Xinisteri is a nice wine, too. Recommended. Yes, sometimes the grumpy guy can be....grumpy. But he actually delivers. No real complaints there. The Russian lady doesn't know how it is with service in Russia itself these days, but it helps if you speak some Russian yourself. Old school-no smile- Russian service. Wow, I didn't think I could still experience it, but there it is... :-)

Dirty old cafe, as in Soviet Union, but restaurant prices. Russian waiter invites visitors as a jester, brought us dirty tea cups, but he was complaisant. Big portions, but not so yummy. Beautuful view, good location near the sea. 2 stars for dirt - this is unacceptable.

Dined here couple of times over the week we spent in Limassol. Food was excellent on both times, from pepper steaks to swordfish and shrimps. The service is very friendly and the owner even speaks a few words of Finnish and the menus are in Finnish too.
