Great hostel. The atmosphere here makes you feel like home. Itโ€™s a small hostel with 3 dorms, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 very clean bathrooms, a big garden/terrace, a washing machine and the host, Petros, is superb. I highly recommend this place, itโ€™s a nice place to meet people.

I loved this hostel so much! It is quite different than the usual hostels. I feel like because it is small is gives a sense of community even though you're there only for a few days. It is super clean, quiet, and Petros is always there for extra recommendations and suggestions of what to do and what to explore. Highly recommend!

+ Nice owner + Free tea, coffee - further from the center - shelves at the top of the bunk would help a lot - a cockroach in the bathroom (I hope this was the only exception) - only two bathrooms, 12 people - it can get really busy

Cosy hostel in the center of Limassol, within walking distance to the historical center and shops. Close to amenities. The hostel itself is very charming, with a nice outside area to relax, a comfortable living room and a fully stocked kitchen. The host Petros, is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are kept clean. Overall, probably the best hostel in Limassol! 5* will definitely be back

Best hostel I've ever been. The owner is great and he is going to help you at anything you need. The place is cosy, not a big hostel and that might be the magic, it is very easy to make friends. I went for a week and stayed months. Thank you Petros!

Amazing hostel, perfect if you are a solo traveller. The owner Petros is a true gentleman and helps to create an intimate and community atmosphere that filters out to everyone staying there. He has time for every guest and I have the deepest respect for him. I made some amazing friends here. Excellent location, great kitchen facilities, beside a cheap bike rental station. Very interesting decorations, paintings and posters which he will be happy to take the time to explain. I stayed here on 3 separate occasions while travelling (thatโ€™s how much I loved it.)

Such a nice hostel, where I stayed for 1 week. The owner is really kind and makes sure that the place stays tidy and clean. I stayed in the female dormitory with a comfortable mattress, a box to keep your stuff safe and met as well amazing people there. Such a pleasant experience in the city center of Limassol. Highly recommended!

The owner, Petros, is an extremely hospitable, friendly, helpful & knowledgeable host. The hostel is small but perfectly organised. Places to doss about at the front and on the terraces, large, well-equipped kitchen, places to hang your washing, two showers/bathrooms which are more than enough as Petros doesn't cram 'em in (only six guests per dormitory). Often budget accommodation is in the middle of nowhere. Here the Old Town & the seafront is a short stroll, and the main local bus station plus Intercity stop for Paphos is 200m away. Each guest has a safe, excellent free WiFi, and fans around which could cause a hurricane (perfect for northern Europeans like me who can't stand the heat!) โ‚ฌ20 a night. Great place & experience.

I had a lovely experience at Lemongrass: it's a simple hostel but clean and full of character. Completed kitchen, cozy couches on the living room and a shelf full of books. The fans will allow you a cool night of sleep. Petros (the owner) made my stay particularly especial: he is a fantastic host, always ready to give you tips and advice or just a nice story. The vibe is super relax at the hostel and I still met nice people to go out with :) Hope to see you again Petros!

PROS: Lovely interior and exterior design; Good value for a long-term; Not much noise in or outside. CONS: Personal belongings go missing all the time; The soft-spoken owner is in fact aggressive and careless; no hot water to shower with sometimes; no cold water to drink most of the time.

One of the best hostels ever visited, owner was very helpful to provide information and details for anything needed. Very close to the old down around 5 minutes walk, which is situated on a calm neighborhood. The hostel is clean and very cozy, you can chill or work without any issue.

I enjoyed my stay and stayed 3 nights. Full hostel, yet always had a hot shower. Hostel owner, fast and responsive via whatsapp, arrived late as a solo female traveller so nice to know I would have help if needed. Walking distance to everything. Thanks โ˜บ๏ธ Good value accommodation in Limassol.

Disappointing Experience: Issues with Refund Process I recently had a less-than-ideal experience with Lemongrass Hostel, and I'd like to share my concerns regarding their refund policy. My encounter with their cancellation process was frustrating, and I encountered difficulties in obtaining a refund, which left me feeling dissatisfied. Initially, I was excited about my reservation at Lemongrass Hostel, as their Booking.com page highlighted comfortable accommodations and good customer service. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances arose, and I had to cancel my trip. I promptly reached out to the hostel to inform them, but I didn't receive a response to my multiple international calls. Considering that I had canceled within a reasonable timeframe of 5 days before the booking date and the "free cancellation" banners on their website, I expected a straightforward process with a reasonable refund. However, I was disappointed by the lack of helpfulness and understanding from one of their staff members. Instead of providing the assistance I needed, their response was dismissive, lacking professionalism, empathy, and a willingness to find a mutually agreeable solution. It is disheartening to witness a business prioritize profits over customer satisfaction and integrity. While a small cancellation fee would be understandable, charging the entire amount seems excessive.

Brilliant hostel, especially for those working remotely with mininal meetings. Petros is so helpful. He helped me get my phone back when I lost it on a bus! You know it's a good hostel when Cypriots stay and travellers come back as they feel at home here. I know I will come back... next week
