Good, simple German food. Not a huge variety of dishes however relatively low prices. Very big portions, however! I don't think I've ever been given such a huge salad, full with eggs, coleslaw, croutons and all sorts of things. We took about half of all of our meals to go, which they put into very nice boxes. Thank you for the experience.

Visited w/o reservation and staff arraged for us to have a seat. Swift and friendly service. Food good and has value for money.

Beautiful outside seating area, very friendly staff and delicious food. Wide choice of different foods and a classical children's menu. Staff a bit overwhelmed due to pandemic situation but always customer orientated. Recommended!

I work in Bessenbach and it's not easy to find good restaurants in the area. I did a quick Google search and came upon this place, and on getting there, was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Not only was the restaurant clean, nice and welcoming, the restrooms were remarkably clean and well kept. I went back here twice that week and on both occasions the food was excellent. The first time I had a beef dish with a mushroom sauce while the second time I had a schnitzel. Both were very memorable meals. I would say you should go here if you're in Bessenbach. Just note that the service speed is definitely leisurely and so coming from America, you should be patient and enjoy the place.
