    If you are in Limerick, do yourself a favor and visit the Horse and Hound bar. It is a small traditional Irish pub very popular with the locals. The food is excellent. We ordered a roasted leg of lamb and a vol au vent with chicken and mushroom sauce. Both dishes were generously portioned and delicious. The service was fast and efficient. It gets quite busy during peak hours.

    Very busy great quick and courteous service. Big portions, old style menu but chowder is amazing and a meal in itself... Can't reccomend the chowder enough

    Where do I start? I arrived as a stranger and left as a friend. The staff, food, venue and toilet where all to be desired, especially one of the staff members with curly hair who smelt like a Mix of Brazilian crush and sandwiches, pity he wasn't a little bit shorter and I wasn't 20 years younger. Great experience all round. A spectacle to be seen with a special place my they heart.

    I loved everything about this place. Great food, fantastic service and great value for money. Hope you guys appreciate the chef, food was hot and extremely tasty. We are lacking these basic qualities in restaurants nationwide. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

    If it was possible to give more than a five star I would. Horse and Hound is just a top class pub. Top class food staff are really friendly . Very reasonably priced . Highly Recommend this pub.

    Came to drink after a football game against Treaty united had four drinks before they told us they would serve a certain community which I'm not of. Never felt so highly offended in my life. Said by the bar women in the stripy top and glasses. Served after they heard we were not from that community

    Friendly staff. Nice place. I got the chicken vol-au-vents, but cubes of chicken large and little dry. Potatoes were lovely.

    For 12eu you would expect hot breakfast only lukewarm and just not great in general, ots my 2nd time in recent months having a negative opinion unfortunately.

    This is a fantastic bar and caters for everyone. Whether you just want to go for a pint, grab a bite to eat or want to bring your family for a meal, they have it all. Food is fantastic and not too expensive and the staff are amazingly attentive and friendly.

    Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely recommend! The food here is really good. The service is fast and friendly. The staff are very friendly and chatty. Couldn't find a nicer place with better service in the city!

    Had a lovely pleasant visit to the horse and hound with my family. On arrival was welcomed with open arms by a lovely bar maid. We had 3 children with us and any with children can understand that a venture any can be sometimes an ordeal 😃we were maid really welcome hence we stayed for a couple of beverages while the children had dinner. Staff were amazing and food was amazing. Thanks for having us 👏🏻

    Was here for a christening and it was such a nice place to sit with your family and enjoy a drink and some food. Staff owe me a few drinks for bringing in business ha ha.

    Went for breakfast on Sunday, it was fab, very busy but this didn't take from the quality of the food, it was roasting hot, and really lovely would highly recommend
