To
preface
my
review,
I
travel
for
work
and
lodge
in
the
ballpark
of
70-80
different
hotels
across
the
country
in
the
span
of
a
year.
I
have
not
been
compelled
to
leave
a
bad
review
after
years
of
work
travel
until
now.
Bad
experience
starts
with
finding
the
parking
lot
for
this
hotel
which
is
effectively
hidden
at
the
back
of
the
hotel,
across
the
street.
After
doing
a
loop
around
the
block,
I
pulled
into
the
valet
area
and
set
for
a
few
minutes
hoping
that
someone
from
valet
would
eventually
come
out.
There
was
a
couple
of
guys
standing
outside
talking
but
they
had
nothing
on
them
indicating
that
they
were
part
of
the
business
or
in
any
way
associated
with
the
valet.
I
walked
up
to
them
and
asked
if
they
knew
where
the
valet
attendant
was
and
they
indicated
that
it
was
them.
I
asked
where
I
could
find
the
parking
garage
as
there
was
no
clear
markers
to
its
location.
Alas
I
found
out
where
it
was.
Upon
entering
my
room,
I
quickly
dropped
my
bag
off
and
rushed
to
grab
some
dinner
as
I
had
been
traveling
for
nearly
7
hours
and
was
famished.
By
the
time
I
returned
to
my
room
it
was
already
late
and
I
was
ready
to
hit
the
hay.
However
I
was
met
with
freezing
cold
temperatures
as
the
thermostat
was
set
to
AC
at
65Ā°
even
though
it's
30Ā°
outside.
And
even
worse
the
horrible
putrid
smell
of
mold.
Fair
enough,
not
the
first
time
I've
dealt
with
either
at
a
hotel.
I
went
into
the
bedroom
to
unpack,
and
found
what
appeared
to
be
someone's
body
molded
into
the
sheets
as
if
someone
before
me
was
assigned
this
room
and
noped
out
because
of
the
smell-
literal
clear
body
outline
in
the
sheets.
When
I
went
into
the
bathroom
I
was
met
with
mold
in
the
shower,
hair
in
the
sink
and
a
toilet
that
takes
several
attempts
to
flush.
As
I
explored
the
room
I
found
literal
dust
collections
around
the
corners
of
the
room
a
disgusting
couch
also
covered
in
dust.
The
general
aura
of
the
entire
room
and
I'm
sure
the
entire
hotel,
is
extremely
outdated.
You
have
to
walk
around
and
click
off
seven
different
light
switches
before
you're
ready
to
go
to
bed,
whereas
much
less
expensive
hotels
will
have
the
option
to
control
everything
from
a
single
light
switch
or
even
the
app.
When
I
finally
got
to
bed,
I
was
met
with
sheets
that
were
so
loose
that
they
wouldn't
stay
on
the
bed.
Pillows
that
were
so
matted
that
I
couldn't
get
comfortable.
And
yet
I
was
so
damn
tired
that
I
couldn't
pick
myself
up
to
pack
everything
up
go
to
the
front
desk
and
ask
for
a
refund
to
find
a
new
hotel
for
the
rest
of
the
night.
In
summary
avoid
this
hotel
like
Hell's
flames.
I'm
very
confident
that
many
of
these
positive
reviews
are
bought
with
drink
vouchers
and
Hilton
rewards
points.
Because
no
one
in
their
same
mind
would
leave
this
place
a
positive
review.
