This is a large hotel with a small feel.. it is beautiful inside and out.. the waterfalls create a tranquil relaxing atmosphere and the soft music make you relaxed the minute you walk in. The staff is helpful and courteous and are great guides to the area. They have an airport shuttle , amazing cooked to order breakfast and a restaurant on site! The rooms are clean and spacious. The pool and hot tub area is a good size as well! A great place for meetings, and banquets is in another area from the rooms and you never hear anything from the convention center.

The hotel was beautiful, had made to order breakfast (omelet, eggs, sausage, bacon) and all the goodies that go in or on eggs. Also had a buffet style set up with fountain drinks, various milks, and juices. Had a large dining area as well. The valet parking was 22 a night and was very convenient. The elevators (3) are fast too. I was able to get to my conference fast and back to my room for short breaks. My room was pretty clean too. Had the usual suspects like a few hairs here and there... lastly, they have soft close doors so no slamming doors throughout the night!! I would love to go there again if I travel to that area. Had a ton of food and shopping within .2 if a mile as well.

I travel 100% for my job and stayed here for two weeks. The service I received at this hotel was above & beyond! The restaurant/bar staff were phenomenal. The front desk and valet team were extremely accommodating. Allison, Summer, Kayla, and Kaycie were truly the best part of my experience and will keep me coming back. I donā€™t usually eat dinner at the hotel but at this hotel I ate dinner every single night just to be around the friendly restaurant/bar staff. Thank you embassy suites for creating a ā€œhome away from homeā€ experience while Iā€™m on the road for work. I havenā€™t ever experienced anything like it!

Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond in creating a great experience for our family. Each staff member seemed genuinely happy to be there and to help however they could. We traveled with 3 little kids and they truly helped to make us feel at home away from home. Additionally the value of a clean and safe room, a wonderful breakfast included in your stay and great customer service is immeasurable but the price we paid was more than fair. We will definitely be back.

Iā€™m rewriting my review because Google missed spelled words ha ha! I LOVED this hotel. The gentleman who checked me in was so sweet. The room was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The gentlemen were so sweet to make me a Belgian waffle. Everyone was SO kind to help in any way! I wish I could give you 10 stars!

I love this hotel. It's extremely clean, employees are exceptional, location is good. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because I wanted room service this morning and it's unavailable and the a/c works but it's not 65 degrees in here as the thermostat says more like 73. It's quiet, comfy beds, good coffee in room. It gets a 4.7 in my book. I will be back and make it a regular stop on my trips back East.

The Bad: It used to feel so special staying at this hotel. Unfortunately, it is in desperate need of updates and a deep clean. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, there was rust around the tub, the floor was stained with some kind of substance, there was garbage under our sofa (visible when walking in the room), and it was generally just not clean. It was also loud, but that was from children and street noise, so I don't fault the hotel for that. The Good: The staff was wonderful and very welcoming! Everyone we met was so kind and we appreciated that. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic! Kudos to the chefs for my delicious made to order French toast and bacon! This property has potential to be great again. I really hope they make all of the necessary updates to make it as good as it used to be.

Hospitality is amazing. Everyone is on their A game. The breakfast is one on the best. We have been staying here for 18 years and the last two times to Lincoln we stayed somewhere else. We missed the Embassy Suites so we stayed this time with our whole family. The hotel is very run down. We had mold in our shower, and I believe on the back of the door in our restroom. The hotel needs an update.

I parked my vehicle in valet parking for two days at this hotel. When valet brought my vehicle back there was damage to my pickup that happened while in their care. Keep in mind they charge $45 a day for valet parking. You would think that there should be some security and ease of mind parking valet. The hotel explained to me that they are not liable for damage in the valet parking and it is my issue. I was stunned and very disappointed in a hotel chain that I use often. I am a GOLD member and spend thousands of dollars with this chain due to the fact that I own a trucking company and lodge drivers in their hotels. Be aware that a hotel that offers a service to their customers is really NOT a service at all. They charge for parking and take no liability for damage done to your vehicle while in their care. Could have been a simple customer service fix but VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS HOTEL!!!

Nice hotel. Paid extra for a larger room but was disappointed that it was their basic room. Their happy hour now limits free drinks. Breakfast is still wonderful.

We spent 3 nights together with our children and grandchrildren at the Lincoln, NE Embassy Suites, celebrating Christmas! The rooms were so nice and clean! The grown grandsons especially loved the the omelets and breakfast buffet! We enjoyed walking down to Haymarket. The kids took advantage of the weight room and the pool! The evenings were filled with games, laughter and memories! The staff was excellent, always so very helpful and friendly! Thank you! We will be back next year! Very helpful and attentive staff! This embassy Suites is close to a lot of dining and entertaining options downtown. The rooms are clean and well taken care of but they could benefit from an update. (bigger TVs, usb plugs in the nightstands or lamps, etc)

I go out of my way to stay at the Embassy Suites when I can. Rooms are great. The pool, hot tub and manager's reception are worth it. And the breakfast is the best. Well worth it.

The fantastic team went above and beyond for me when I was in town! I was Presenting at a conference in the hotel and had a meeting later in the day. They set me up in a conference room so I could have my Zoom in private. They even reached out to me the week before to let me know I was all taken care of and how to get the key to the room. VERY impressed with their excellent customer service! Hotel is clean and conveniently located. Thank you so much!

Everything was clean, staff was friendly. I would stay here again, but never on a football game weekend. They don't allow you to park in the garage that is attached to the hotel overnight. You have to go 2 blocks away to still pay to park and trek back there the next day with all your stuff. It would be ideal if you are staying at the hotel, they give you a pass to park for the time you are staying there. The room was clean, and beds are comfy. Breakfast was best we have ever had at a hotel.

The rooms haven't been updated in a while but were still fine and the room setup is so good for a family! We were very happy to arrive after a long day of driving.

To preface my review, I travel for work and lodge in the ballpark of 70-80 different hotels across the country in the span of a year. I have not been compelled to leave a bad review after years of work travel until now. Bad experience starts with finding the parking lot for this hotel which is effectively hidden at the back of the hotel, across the street. After doing a loop around the block, I pulled into the valet area and set for a few minutes hoping that someone from valet would eventually come out. There was a couple of guys standing outside talking but they had nothing on them indicating that they were part of the business or in any way associated with the valet. I walked up to them and asked if they knew where the valet attendant was and they indicated that it was them. I asked where I could find the parking garage as there was no clear markers to its location. Alas I found out where it was. Upon entering my room, I quickly dropped my bag off and rushed to grab some dinner as I had been traveling for nearly 7 hours and was famished. By the time I returned to my room it was already late and I was ready to hit the hay. However I was met with freezing cold temperatures as the thermostat was set to AC at 65Ā° even though it's 30Ā° outside. And even worse the horrible putrid smell of mold. Fair enough, not the first time I've dealt with either at a hotel. I went into the bedroom to unpack, and found what appeared to be someone's body molded into the sheets as if someone before me was assigned this room and noped out because of the smell- literal clear body outline in the sheets. When I went into the bathroom I was met with mold in the shower, hair in the sink and a toilet that takes several attempts to flush. As I explored the room I found literal dust collections around the corners of the room a disgusting couch also covered in dust. The general aura of the entire room and I'm sure the entire hotel, is extremely outdated. You have to walk around and click off seven different light switches before you're ready to go to bed, whereas much less expensive hotels will have the option to control everything from a single light switch or even the app. When I finally got to bed, I was met with sheets that were so loose that they wouldn't stay on the bed. Pillows that were so matted that I couldn't get comfortable. And yet I was so damn tired that I couldn't pick myself up to pack everything up go to the front desk and ask for a refund to find a new hotel for the rest of the night. In summary avoid this hotel like Hell's flames. I'm very confident that many of these positive reviews are bought with drink vouchers and Hilton rewards points. Because no one in their same mind would leave this place a positive review.

I just wanted to let any management who sees this to know that on multiple occasions I have had your employees come into my store(I also work downtown) Each time I have helped them they are wearing their work attire which is not an issue unless you come into my store causing issues. Iā€™ve had three different employees of yours come in and be much less than respectful or patient. i was in the back preparing a shake for a customer and one specific man started banging on my counter. I understand being in a rush or simply wanting in and out quickly however I work alone so it is difficult for me to tend to everyone at once. This review in no way reflects your company however I have learned quite a bit about your employees. I encourage you to remind them that, while wearing your attire they represent your company and should keep that in mind when going anywhere else. Thank you I hope this helps

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, inviting and helpful and the evening guest reception, menu offerings and breakfast exceeded my expectations. We will definitely stay here again.

I LOVED this place! This will be my go to hotel everytime I stay in Lincoln. Staff were very friendly and kind, rooms were cleaned, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was GREAT! I really liked the way the building was structured. It was in a square and no matter which room you had, you had a visual of the lobby once you stepped out of your room. The unique part about this place is the way they served their breakfast! I mean wow! They cooked your eggs the way YOU want them. Never seen this in a hotel! The pool was great! The Sauna and hot tube was wonderful! Highly recommended. You get what you paid for.

I went on their website to order a room for my birthday. I saw the extra fees for reserving a room in same town I live in, so I hit the cancel button on the screen but order went through. I went to cancel order and was still billed for the room. I called the customer service line and was told they could not refund me and refused to give me back the reservation. My Credit card company had tried to dispute charge and I was still charged. I tried to contact hotel directly and never got any kind of reply. I will never stay here and I would avoid. Poor customer service.

We generally like staying at Embassy suites because the rooms are a great size and the breakfast is amazing. Unfortunately, we wonā€™t be staying at the Lincoln Embassy suites again; it was not worth it. Our daughter wanted a night in a hotel for her birthday. The hot tub was Luke warm at best. The free drinks were great but with only two bartenders people had to wait in line for 30+ minutes to get drinks. Breakfast was even worse. It wasnā€™t stocked and the wait to get pancakes, omelets, bacon, eggs to order was 50 min. And in general, the rooms are very dated. It was a very disappointing stay.

Too look at the hotel from going down the elevator looks really nice but the room was hot outdated shower didnā€™t work properly and some of your staff was a little rude but some of your staff was really nice such as Tyler. Kids running up and down the halls all hours of the night nightly. I was there on a business trip for a month so I used the washer and dryer on the 8th floor which the dryer was not drying the clothes. That room was very hot and not clean at all. The parking was so tight for the 30 days I was there. Numerous times I had to get in my car from the passenger side because people parked very close to you. Thank you for the morning breakfast daily that was good. I didnā€™t get to use the weekly reception because I was working at the time frame so I didnā€™t get to enjoy that.

Embassy is walking distance to lots of restaurants and they are dog friendly. They have a wonderful complimentary breakfast with an omelet bar and an evening reception hour. The staff is exceptional and there are events happening all the time. This is not your average hotel!

I was booking rooms for myself and a co-worker for a business trip. There were some issues with using the 800 #, so I called to directly talk to the front desk associate in Lincoln, Ne., to make sure the room was booked correctly. The front desk associate, Luanny, was so professional, personable and thorough. She took the extra steps to make sure my business trip was booked correctly, and I really appreciated her professionalism and care in this manner. I always have had good experiences with the Embassy Suites in Lincoln, their hotel is clean and well maintained, they have comfortable beds, they have a pleasant lobby, where you can partake in the managers reception and hearty, made to order breakfast. Her customer service just took it over the top, and was so appreciated! : )

The hotel seems old and in need of an update. Our room 211 was literally right next to the HVAC on the roof and it was super loud all night making it hard to sleep. The bathroom was kinda gross and the shower head was broken. The sheets were so heavily bleached that the smell was overwhelming. Not impressed at all. When i tried to talk to the front desk the lady was dismissive and didn't seem to care. Definitely won't be staying here again.

It's not often we are impressed by customer service, today was that day! Mike at the front desk went out of his way to make sure our stay was memorable. We will be staying at the Embassy again and again. Thank you Mike and the Embassy Suites staff for your hospitality, it made all the difference.

Great experience at this hotel. Room was clean and smelled fresh. The check in process was straight forward. Please note: For parking, there is Valet parking on site or off site self park. There is complementary breakfast where there a whole compliment of options including made to order omelets. There is an onsite restaurant and bar.

We made a last minute stop in Lincoln, NE while traveling to our destination. We loved the hotel and town so much. The atmosphere and service were great. The sofa bed mattress could use an update as it was pretty thin and could feel the springs, but otherwise it was all good. We would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Stayed here in Nov and then stopped here again as we were heading home in June. The place is clean and nice, has breakfast, reasonable prices and the night time front desk staff was excellent! I forgot the womanā€™s name at the desk but she made our night and we were grateful for her after driving for 24 hours. Excellent hospitality!

As a hotel, it is decent. I came here off of one night at a nearby new establishment that disappointed deeply. This hotel is a bit dated to some, but to me it's classic. It could surely use a bit more care in the brass embellishments, but if you will be here a while it's a great place to call home. Central to all the things you may want to see, as well as some of the bigger businesses in town. Park your car for the week and walk everywhere you feel you need to be. The restaurant is better than the steakhouse across the street and costs far less too.

  • 3/5 michael h. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel itself is very nice. Really enjoyed the room, was a little warmer than I'd like even with the AC on. The bar downstairs either. Closed early or wasn't open at all for the day I was there. The location is probably the best feature within walking distance of everything. The major downfall would be the parking. You either have to pay for the garage across the street or use the valet. However paying for the garage because THE VALET GAVE MY RENTAL TO SOMEONE ELSE without my valet ticket

Highly impressed with this hotel this week. We picked this hotel to host a business meeting because they are the only Hilton hotel in town that responded to me when I asked about renting a boardroom. The embassy wouldā€™ve been my first choice anyway but I appreciate the fact that Dana was very easy to work with and helped me coordinate everything to set up my meeting. She was quick to respond and happy to answer all my questions. Add in all the usual Embassy things like 2 room suites, cook to order breakfast, evening reception with free drinks and snacks, indoor poor and on-site restaurant. On top of all of this, we actually were here during a tornado and the hotelā€˜s response to the very scary sirens going off was to clearly communicate with the overhead speaker, quickly set us up in a boardroom where they brought us and waters and snacks and kept us comfortable while we rode out the wild weather. Everyone was very calm and handled this perfectly! Big props to the staff at this hotel for making our stay all around excellent!
