Standard clean place, a production line of sorts fast friendly service. Large portions of homemade like food. Amazing gyro (grill marks too!) Spanakopita was very good and authentic, chicken souvlaki was great too grilled to perfection

This restaurant is too good!! The quality and quantity of the food is amazing.. the cashier is a rude lady though. But don’t let her get in your way of enjoying delicious greek food.

Pretty simple place in terms of decor and ambience but food is outstanding. Portions are big, food is fresh. Enough staff to keep the line going. Prices are very friendly

Plaka is the only reason why I come to work, because I know at lunch time I will eat delicious fresh food made by awesome people. Thank you for keeping us fed and never disappointing. For those of you who have never been to Plaka, this place is a gem in the city, one of the best places to eat, whether it's breakfast lunch or dinner. Portions are huge, prices are extremely fair and the people behind the counter making your food are friendly.

The best tasting Greek food I've ever had, I had the chicken souvlaki dinner, the rice was tasty and not dry, the chicken was flavorful, good potatoes, nice salad, very affordable and big portions! The staff are hardworking, this establishment is an hidden Mississauga gem that more people need to learn about ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I visited this restaurant on my lunch as I was in the area. I ordered the banquet burger with Greek salad on the side. I'm telling you, this was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. I enjoyed it so much, that I returned to try something else from the menu. I had the chicken rice potatoes salad dinner and if definitely didn't disappoint. I will definitely be a returning customer. Great job on the food and thank you to all of the staff. Very friendly and excellent customer service. 👌

Food by itself is delicious! Their portions are great (although, slightly more than one full meal). Price is slightly more than what should be. Customer service- not the best. Long waiting lines with unsatisfactory queueing system. Tables interior is generally unclean. Improving on other aspects than just food taste would bump it to 4-5 stars!

I love a greasy spoon, and they don't even need much in the way of atmosphere. But this was just tired and disappointing. I came with a group from work, and the breakfast was mediocre. I asked for 2 eggs and bacon, I got (and was charged for) three, they were sunny side up but tough around the edges and not cooked at all on top. There is some skill required for sunny side up, and they missed the mark. The bacon was overdone. The hash browns underdone. They switched sides with two of my colleagues. The coffee got filled once. They came to refill after 5 minutes, when I still had plenty. They never came again. Had to go and get the waitress for a refill, and by then I was almost done. There's a reason I've barely come here in 15 years of working in the area.

The Greeks know how to eat. Great food. Large servings. Fast food atmosphere, So, not really a place for a date. However, if your date night is take-out food night, then you can't go wrong.

This is the place to get the best souvlaki plate. We look forward to every lunch here. The owner cares so much for his guests and the quality of food he serves. He makes sure everyone leaves happy and full. Portions are massive and food is fresh. It gets pretty crowded at lunch time and may take a little while to get your food but I promise it’s worth it!

Fresh. That's the word I'm going to use to summarize the food here. It tastes amazingly fresh. Come early or order ahead if you're going for lunch, as the line-ups can get pretty wild. Got to try the chicken breast dinner and it was fantastic. It was grilled perfectly, and is served with salad, rice, potatoes, tzatziki, and a small slice of pita bread. Come hungry, as the portion is more than enough to fill you up and leave you very satisfied. It's a place that's certainly off the beaten path (most people only know about it because they work close by), but once you try it, you'll be making the detour here every time. This is literally the best Greek food I have ever eaten. I like that it appears to be a family owned business and/or a local business. The food was so good and the portion size was large! 10/10 for me. It was very clean and the wait time wasn’t long:)

It's always great to order from a restaurant where you get fresh food and that personal touch. We ordered from this restaurant for work and the aroma of food was breath taking! I also received a follow up call from Mark which was really thoughtful and shows that he goes the extra mile to make sure that his customers are happy. I'm pretty sure that we will be ordering again soon 😊

I used Plaka for a staff appreciation lunch for my company and everyone absolutely loved the food, it was some of the best Greek food I've eaten. The owner Mark was great to work with when placing an order for 60 meals and was very easy to communicate with and got back to me in a very timely manner. The portions are great and even though we ordered 60 meals the quality was top nautch. If you are looking for a quick lunch or a company event Plaka is your go to stop for amazing food and service.

This place is very popular and busy at lunchtime...for good reason. Food is good, portions are very generous and prices are reasonable. I phoned in my order ahead to save time and was disappointed to see that they didn't even enter the order until after I arrived to pick up. What's the point of taking phone in orders if you're just going wait anyway?

Great portions for what you pay compared to other restaurants. The set up is geared toward take out with an area to dine in if preferred. I was the 5th person in line and did not have to wait long for my food. Their process of cooking and preparing the order is efficient. This was my first visit.

My mom came to visit from Quebec. She lived in Port Credit for about 30 years and swore by colossus Greek taverna. I said ‘mom once your try Plaka you won’t think about any other Greek food’ we each ordered the chicken Greek salads and it was so much food!! Mom said it’s ‘by far the best Chicken she’s ever had,’ the salad is excellent and I don’t know what kind of feta is used but it’s heavenly. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious 🤤 grub don’t hesitate to visit Plaka. Great food! can’t be disappointed by it unless you’re a miserable sob

Extremely busy during lunch Monday to Friday. However, line goes quick. If you want to avoid lineup go at 11:30. Amazing food quality and quantity.

I love the food here, so fresh and delicious. Ordered chicken souvlaki and chicken greek salad with pita. The chicken is perfectly grilled, giving a scrumptous juicy taste. Would love to come and have lunch here again. Not sure if you do catering or not, would love to have your food for an upcoming birthday.

I’ve had many a lunch at Plaka and it’s the best Souvlaki I’ve ever had. Mark the owner works tirelessly to give his customers exceptional food. I cannot fault it and always look forward to eating there. Tim P

Food is good but service was awful. It took 45 minutes to get a salad. They were busy, lots of people waiting. I won't give advice on how they could have sped things up but they were very disorganized. The owner/manager was shouting at some of the employees which was rude and made things uncomfortable.

Best place to have soulaki chicken on pita and chinner soulaki dinner😋😋😋. I visit this place min once a week, they provide salad, boiled potato, cheese, sauce, pita bread, rice with grilled soulaki chicken ( for chinner dinner). Though the food is bit expensive ~19$ for chinner dinner platter and 11.5$ for chicken soulaki on a pita, it is worth the quantity and taste. 😋😋

We ordered take out lunch yesterday for 10 people. We had the chicken souvlaki meal with salad, potatoes, and rice and added drinks and baklava. Everything was ready when they said it would be. All the food was very fresh and hot things were hot and portion sizes were large. Would definitely recommend.

Big portion but the chicken was overcooked and burned on the outside. You just leave the chicken on the grill till it burns then flip it. It needs to be flipped earlier or lower the heat. I don’t want to taste burned bits of chicken when eating. The rice was kind of mushy as well.

Amazing Food!! I have had Greek food at many places in Mississauga and Brampton, however, this is the best one so far. I suggested this place for catering at a work event and everyone loved it!! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Best Greek food around. super busy during lunch but their service is quick. One thing I didn't like was the ventilation inside the restaurant wasn't great and I left with grill smelling clothes
