As a former employee, I feel compelled to share that the management here is quite problematic. Specifically, Jessica, the manager, engages in unprofessional behavior such as gossiping about guests coming to receive an intimate service because she literally has nothing better to do. As an employee I have overheard, or had Jessica directly speak to me about the appearance, hygiene, attitude etc. of the guests. Which is ironic because EWC pretends to prioritize empowering women. Jessica used a mandatory team meeting to name drop and discuss the hygiene of specific guests for about 10 minutes, and to make unnecessary slick comments about the old manager. Unfortunately Jessica is an extremely unprofessional manager and just a nasty person in general. She said her favorite part of her job was forcing charges to cards that declined or lacked funds (even though she was probably responsible for pressuring the guests into purchasing packages they told her they could not afford in the first place). Jessica creates an uncomfortable work environment with her use of racial slurs(the n-word to black employees. she is not black, and if I called her out I would’ve probably been fired on the spot because they can do that for any reason or even no reason), or making comments implying that a certain guest would take longer or be more hairy due to their ethnicity or racial background, and over sharing of her sad personal life to employees half her age who do not care. European Wax Center does not care about guest satisfaction or even their employees, management is only worried about shoving packages and products down your throat to boost their sales. Considering these concerns, I'd suggest considering alternative waxing locations. Attempts to address these issues privately were thwarted by the regional manager's refusal to communicate with wrongfully terminated employees. Nothing stated in this review was embellished.

Ashlen is my absolute favorite! She’s the best! I only go in for eyebrows & upper lip, but she does her job so so so well. My eyebrows always end up looking amazing. They’re normally really thick and uneven, but she shapes them well and evens them out. She is a perfectionist and is very meticulous which I totally love. I couldn’t recommend her enough. She deserves all the praise. ❤️🫶🏼

I haven’t been to the Linden location in a while but when I do come, I always book with Porscha. She’s such a sweet young woman. Punctual and does a great job. I’d definitely recommend her!

Nicole is amazing and very considerate. Last year, I had a c section and I was very nervous to get waxed over the scar. She gave me options as to whether I wanted to avoid the scar completely for the first session back or she can save it for last. I felt empowered and decided to save it for last. She kindly and carefully worked with me and now I am back to fully waxing again. She helped me feel comfortable and I didn’t feel anxious at all after that one strip was done. As long as Nicole waxes at the linden location, I will be booking with her!

Never disappoints and has been my go to wax place for 4 years now! If you are choosing the Linden location, Ashlen is the one! I love how effortless and less painful and quick she makes my every waxing experience. From the time I choose her, I don’t have the fear of waxing.. she is truly the BEST! Absolutely a wonderful 1st experience at EWC from start to finish! Nicole was my tech & she made me feel totally at ease and comfortable the entire time! Her skills at doing this are amazing too! She is so attentive to detail! Full disclosure-I had a full Brazilian & a few little extras, so it wasn’t like I was getting a quick above the lip wax! The main one I was getting was at least a 20 minute procedure! Surprisingly, it wasn’t nearly as painful as I expected it would be! She walked me thru it and explained some tips for the upkeep including how to avoid ingrown hairs…I highly recommend this to anyone who is reading this review & “is on the fence” about getting it done! This is going to help save me some grooming time for the next few weeks! Thanks again EWC & I will be returning!
