Not sure if this location at one time was owned by the same people who own any of the other Emily's in Beach Park and/or Waukegan (now Carmen's) but either way, great food here. Finally made it out here this past January following a snowstorm and was a pleasant 1st experience. Good food at reasonable prices despite the climbing prices of food all over the country and great service in a spacious & clean/sanitized dining area. Already on my list of go-to breakfast joints and always happy to support local.

I had high hopes for this restaurant but was ultimately disappointed by my dining experience. First off, the food was both expensive and subpar in quality. We waited 20-30 minutes for our soup to arrive, followed shortly by our main courses. Despite it being around noon, the restaurant was fairly empty with approximately 20 patrons—perhaps a red flag in hindsight. Service was adequate but unremarkable. Our waitress was competent, but we weren't offered any refills throughout the meal. Additionally, the orange juice portion was surprisingly small, amounting to roughly two shot glasses, which seemed rather stingy for the price we paid. As for the food, I ordered the spicy chicken and waffles. Generally, I'm not too picky about food, but this dish left much to be desired. The chicken was bland and appeared to be coated merely in flour before frying. The texture suggested that either the oil was old or the frying time was excessive, leading to inedible charred parts. The only redeeming feature was the country gravy. Moreover, the restaurant's concept of "spicy" seemed to involve simply adding chopped jalapeños, which did little to enhance the flavor. All in all, the experience was underwhelming. We paid our bill and left a 10% tip, reflecting our overall dissatisfaction.

Prices increased drastically, and food is not worth the price. The staff are an interesting bunch. I heard all the gossip, some finger pointing and know where they get bulk deliveries from. Something should not be discussed in front of the house. Take your business convo and inventory discussions to an office. Also change your oil.

The worst money ever spent in food. Rice looked like coliflower Rice taste was horrible as well. Beans were from the can. Chicken wrap was more like a veggie wrap. Orange juice tasted like water.

Staff was nice and friendly. Average diner. Mushroom soup had few mushrooms no mushroom flavor, salty and pretty lumpy. Salad was okay but the chicken was really rubbery in an odd way. Like processed pork. Maybe it was just an off day for them.

I ordered their corned beef hash which came with two eggs and 2 sides. I loved everything especially their mini waffles. Aside from the food, I loved how we didn't have to wait just to get seated, we got our food right away as well. The place was clean. I'll definitely go back if I'm around the area.

A nice mom and pop breakfast restaurant. Good food and good service. They only do breakfast though and are open until the early afternoon and then shudder the doors, but their breakfast is good and in large portions for a fair price. Will be back.

I had breakfast here for the first time on saturday and loved it! Definitely coming back. Between the three of us we ordered plain crepes with bananas & strawberries (delicious), #6 combo biscuits & gravy (yummy) and 2 eggs w bacon and hashbrowns. Our server was the best and i love the fact that you get a pot of coffee for the table. That is so much better as you can refill galore! There is also plenty of parking.

Emily's was fantastic all around. The service, price, and most important taste were all exact. We enjoyed it so much we are thinking of making it a weekly trip for breakfast.

Mothers Day the crowd moved very quickly. We only had about 15 minutes wait time. Loved the server, loved the food (corned beef hash skillet w/o peppers & onion!) Favorite was the mimosa tray 🥂🥂

The food is delicious and the staff is amazing. Today was a hectic day for me and I had to doordash. My order was accidentally missed. I called and they offered to bring it to me. The lady who came to bring me my food was so nice. Thank you for going above and beyond. The place never fails to impress me.

Service was good, got seated immediately even on a Sunday morning & staff was friendly. Food was bad. It came out barely warm & was very dry. Wasn't worth the price imo.

If you want to get back to good old comfort food breakfast, this is yhe place! Great food, and service.

Decent breakfast place in Lindenhurst. Good pancakes and omelets. Service is usually friendly. Servers are all actually pretty great. We've had trouble ordering take put but eating in is usually good.
