This pier in Lindenhurst is very unique for us. Once we lived here in Lindenhurst back in 1998-2001. Still come back here to enjoy the water and breeze during summer. Everyone will enjoy once they visit the area. Good place to eat nearby. Patsy Italian bakery is in the main village area near the LIRR Station.

What an amazing venue. We recently got married here and it was everything we could have ever dreamed off and more. Thank you everyone at chateau la Mer for making our special day an amazing memorable day for us and our guests. The waterside venue, staff, managers, chefs etc!!! The food was delicious. I was so worried about the food and it was amazing. So much delicious food. The drinks wow, top shelf! To the managers who put up with my Groom-Zilla and the MaitreD, bridal attendant, and wait staff THANK YOU!!!

I came here yesterday for the first time to a Quinceañera. I liked the view of the venue looked very nice. Outside you get to take pictures by the water. The staff are friendly although I did witness some arguing among them and one of the staff came coming back to the bar with a glass asking for refills cause she was very thirsty. Now on to the very unpleasant experience I had. They served raw chicken. The chicken clearly was so pink inside and the food was sub par. I told the waiter who was clearing our table that the chicken was raw and all he did was nod and smile. I've been to a few venues and to be honest I never really find their food appealing but serving raw chicken to hundreds of people is a big No!!

Beautiful venue for my church's 100th Anniversary Luncheon! The cocktail hour was better than decent-- dinner was delicious... and dessert was delicious-- Although the weather was BEYOND tumultuous the goodness of the Lord was evident in the atmosphere and the ever-present smiles on our faces♡

My wife and I were invited to a reception at Chateau La Mer. It was a beautiful setting right on the water. The food and the wait staff were all excellent and exceeded expectations.

I went a wedding here a couple of weeks ago and the air conditioning was not on despite it being over 90 degrees outside. Multiple guests complained to the staff to turn on the AC or to move us to another room and they refused. It took someone to faint for them to finally allow us into another room. On top of that, the food is terrible, everything was cold and just did not seem fully cooked/fresh. Not to mention their carpet is old, gross, and falling apart. They really don't know how to maintain the venue- it has a lot of potential being on the water and these fixes shouldn't cost them THAT much money...There are so many better venues on Long Island so please stay away from this place. I know I will never be having any events here.

Beautiful rooms. 90 degree day and their air conditioning was broken. We should've been moved to another room, Horrible. The dance floor remained mostly empty all night because of the heat. Great dj, great music no air conditioning. People left early.
