Friendly staff, somewhat worn room, poor air conditioning and a bit too warm for comfort in intense summer heat.

Huone oli loistava ja todella siisti. Myös hotelli tuntuu raikkaalta, kunnes menet saunatiloihin... Saunatilat on yhteiset miehille ja naisille. Suihkut siellä olivat aivan homeessa seiniä myöten ja haju oli kuvottava.. Sauna oli myös parhaat päivänsä nähnyt, kiukaassa oli kaksi kiveä jäljellä ja jos erehdyt heittämään löylyä, tulee voimakas palaneen tuoksu joka viimeistään saa unohtamaan tässä paikassa saunomisen.. Aamupalan ravintolahenkilönta oli koko ajan edessä ja tunki välistä kun olit ottamassa ruokia ja juomia, töykeän tuntuista käyttäytymistä. Sauna kuntoon ja aamupalan henkilökunnalle käytöstavat niin, viisi tähteä kolahtaisi, huoneista ja muista tiloista.

Great breakfast. Big hotel with lots of rooms with entertainment for children. Comfortable beds, spacious room.

The room was ok and very clean. Except for the bathing area in the bathroom which was not clean compared to the other area of the bathroom. The bathing area wasn’t well lit. The hotel staff was very friendly and nice.

I recently stayed at Scandic Frimurarehotellet in Linkoping, and I have some thoughts to share about my experience. First and foremost, the hotel's location is excellent. It's incredibly close to the city center, making it convenient for exploring Linkoping's attractions and dining options. I appreciated being able to walk to many places of interest without the need for extensive transportation. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The breakfast spread at Scandic Frimurarehotellet was impressive. They offered a wide variety of delicious options, ensuring that guests had a hearty and satisfying start to their day. It was a great way to fuel up before heading out to explore the city. Regarding the room, it was incredibly spacious. I had plenty of room to move around, and it provided a comfortable environment to relax in after a day of sightseeing. The ample space was a definite plus. However, there was one aspect of my stay that left me somewhat dissatisfied. The hotel has a booking system for room cleaning that I found a bit inconvenient. In a four-star hotel, I expected daily room cleaning without having to make specific arrangements or reservations. While I understand the importance of sustainability and minimizing the use of resources, it's usually an essential service that guests rely on for a comfortable stay. In conclusion, Scandic Frimurarehotellet in Linkoping is a nice hotel with a prime location near the city center. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms are generously sized, offering plenty of space. However, the booking system for room cleaning left me slightly disappointed, as in a four-star hotel, I believe it should be a standard service. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, and I enjoyed my time in Linkoping.

Weird experience. 4 stars hotel without carpets on the floors in rooms. First time meet that for long experience of traveling worldwide. Also it was awkward to hear on reception when chief says to receptionist who was registering us “no, don’t give them this room, give them that” and then tells us that no rooms with king size bed left. Room met us with used snus right under the bed table. Photo is attached. Very unpleasant. Breakfast was the best part of our standby. Diverse variety of food, fresh and delicious.

Very noisy, there was some kind of party downstairs two nights in a row. Rooms were not very clean (especially in the corners) and the bedding wasn't warm enough, especially with the fact that you cannot adjust the temperature yourself. The location was very good, close to the city center. But personally I wouldn't book this again.

Ok hotel for quick business trip! Small rooms

initially it was good but seems I've stepped into dark forces when requested to change room due to night noise (busy street). my other room was like pigsty, sometimes accessible from 3rd floor, other times from 4th. not provided with invoice even being in business trip had to contract frontdesk for 2 weeks everyday until fully solved. and there is no more herring served in most popular Swedish hotel line. this World goes to the dogs.

Basic room but great location and fantastic breakfast

Our familyroom was modestly furnished but fairly comfortable. Bathroom very small. Unfortunately the room was very dusty even after we asked for the room to be cleaned.

It was one of my worst hotel experiences in my life. The staff were not kind and helpful. The room was not do clean. The bathroom door has leakage and every time I took shower the room gor full of water. The breakfast was not fresh. The bread didn't have quality.

Room excellent! Sauna should be closed! Please fix sauna area it was smelling really bad!

The room was not fully equipped (no air conditioner and no refrigerator) but the staff was really really helpful and nice! Breakfast is not extremely diverse but what was there was very tasty.

Compared to what you can expect from a standard Scandic hotel, this one delivers beyond. Very nice and modern rooms, solid breakfast, friendly staff, convenient parking garage and surprisingly modest rate.

Awesome service, magnificent facilities and breakfast was so exquisite. People are so nice and they deliver beyond expectations.
