Large 12 meter high monument located in the Entracampos roundabout, erected in memory of the fighting heroes during the Peninsular War between the Portuguese Kingdom, the Kingdom of Spain, the Kingdom of France and the United Kingdom. Consisting of a base decorated with statues of the people representing the suffering caused by the fighting, surmounted by military figures depicting the fight between the Napoleonic eagle and the lion representing the British troops.

Huge roundabout that serves as a convergence point for three major communication routes. In the center stands a monument to the Heroes of the Peninsular War. Access to the monument, due to the intense traffic in the area, is dangerous.

The Monument to the Heroes of the Peninsular War is a monument, in stone and bronze, dedicated to the Peninsular War located at the entrance to Campo Grande, in the Praça de Entrecampos (formerly Praça Mouzinho de Albuquerque), in Lisbon. One of the parts of the program presented by the Commission of the Centenary of the Peninsular War Commemorations consisted of a competition, launched in 1908, for a monument in the city of Lisbon, with the aim of commemorating the heroic deeds of the Portuguese people and army during the peninsula campaign.
